I didn't end up in download mode. it rebooted into the warning shown above and after waiting for some minutes I turned on the phone and checked the kernel.

when I try to back up the present rom with rom manager it ends up in that warning page too.

I still have root.

U mean u cant get into recovery too? If u cant, means there is something that the seller did not tell u.

In that case either u try to flash with mobile odin, hope it works.

If it does not u r going to need to find someone with a usb jig cable to force it into download mode.

Oga, i have checked..it's NOT there. There's NO provision for entering username/password. The network uses a proxy address that requires authentication(username/password). I have both entered the proxy address/port but can't find where to enter the username/password

For what its worth u can also try to install WIFI MANAGER from the market maybe that will give u the options u seek!

Just bought an SG2.Choi, I have been missing. I thought I had an Android phone before. Had a choice of getting a nexus 4 or SG2 but was told I had to wait till January.I lost patience.SG3 is wonderful but it's too plastic and I will most definitely break it.

First thing i did was create a multiple charger.i had an android tablet charger i wasn't using that supplies 5v 2A.d. I got the USB multiple charger and did some joining. Now have a charger that chargers small and big pin Nokia, PSP,mini and micro USB and galaxy tab Ports.I have also noticed it charges faster than the original charger. Currently making an OTG cable.

Also when I tried to download apps from the web version of the playstore this message comes up 'you haven't accessed the Google play store app(the white shopping bag icon) on your device using this email account'. install ur usb drivers

try other usb ports

does windows NOT recognize it at all? no sound when u plug in, no dialog to install drivers in notification area, no unknown or known new device in device manager?

or are u running windows 8?


its supposed to be by default in MTP mode. it opens a folder dialog when u plug it in.

u can also go into settings / usb utilities and temporarily change into and change into mass storage mode. (old school-like flash drive mode)
