This is not the first time I have seen such error and even jagon from actors and actresses. Does it mean the directors and producers don't edit their films or are they ignorant of all these embarrassment? Nairalanders share the common grammatical errors you have seen while watching Nollywood movies.

That's what happens when we abandon our local language to use languages that are not ours. We have a huge problem with English in Nigeria. Even the subtitles from Yoruba movies, leaves a lot to be desired.

guy i feel u jare ! People who own english still fail english in schools and u all are bothering urself here ! The japanese,Germans,french, chinese,dutch speaks their language and today there are among top economies & u guys are here all talking dirty thrash ! I wonder what is so special abt english language.

Go out there and rent any yoruba home video and i mean ANY one , i can bet my life on it that 8 out of 10 are filled with grammatical blunders in their subtitles.

English is not our primary language I agree, so they should just keep it simple. Why are they always saying things like " I told you severally..." for instance?
