Apparently, it's this ASUU strike that's delaying matters.

@tobiflink, Yes, for those at stage 10 or 11 - faculty approval- and No, for those at stage 7-processing of supporting document.however, there are some departments with administrative issues which is likely to be the reason for the inordinate delay experienced in chemical eng. department.Please, do go to ife after ASUU strike to sort it out. kaa jiiko?

Hello house,what could possibly be d problem,my online status for mba executive is stil at no 9,form at falculty approved,I have been giving a registration no.what about supporting doc. They ve received my transcrip.

@jloe, Nothing to worry about, on line tracking at that stage means your supporting document has been received and subsequently processed, not being listed might be an error or omission and it could be rectified latter. once you have been issued registration number, your admission letter will soon land safely in your email box.

executive is equivalent to weekend/part-time course only a few courses are available, professional courses are courses for those who wants to go professional in a field of study targeting the industrial world and such masters obtained in executive, professional and regular mba cannot be used for admission into PhD rather such candidates are to undergo an mphil for a year before been able to do PhD, also, such candidate are not so called qualified for academic/lecturing jobs hence the programme is usually not research thesis based but a long essay. Regular msc is purely research thesis based and can satisfy academic requirements and in some cases, industrial.

there is nothing to worry about, Food Tech dept does not conduct an entry examination for m sc programme. you have a better chance if you finish from a recognised university with second class lower, try to get your supporting document ready and submitted on or before october 31, i wish you best of luck !
