Please, I really need help, its a brand new torch2. I just noticed it doesn't connect to the computer using usb cable. And at such, I can't charge or access my phone on my laptop. Its really annoying. any help?

If the mini usb port on your phone chargers your phone through a conventional charger, more than likely the usb cable you are attempting to connect through, is either a fake or defective.

Guy, the usb cable works flawlessly when used to connect other BB phones. I have even try other usb cable on my bb to no avail. But it charges with the DC charger though.

It's a terminal around d port that has issues.
You will b able ti charge from the wall outlet but PC won't.

I dnt tink is ur phone or usb that is the problem. Av noticed that some laptops don't charge a phone talkless of connecting. It wld say smtin like "it cannot b charged" or there about. This usually occurs if the laptop is an old one. Av u tried it on other computers?

I finally got it to work long ago by installing blackberry desktop manager on my laptop. The blackberry is charging flawlessly since then.
