Not a big fan of tribal marks but I'm really fancy the fulani traditional mouth/ lips tattoos. At a point, I almost considered getting one myself. Lol
The "socou-gol" as its known aren't make up or drawn everyday(I used to think it was a daily make up regimen) but a permanent body art.learnt lower lip and gum are tattooed at puberty while upper lip is done once the girl gets married. I love that!

Tribal marks if done in moderation are quite hot. It accentuates beauty.

My favorite tribal marks; single and double horizontal/vertical lines.

Tribal marks make you an easy target in inter-tribal conflicts. If you don't have the marks,you can easily claim to be from a neutral tribe.
