Look who is talking,Atiku of all people talking about hardwork and prayer. For eight years himself and his wife (Titi) were looting PTF funds but never put in a single hardwork or prayer to better this nation, maybe he was sleeping during the eight whole years he was vice president.

We know that "goodluck" is not the solution to our problems but this moronic retarded polithiefian is the last person to profer solutions to Nigeria problems.

When Atiku says hard work he means a hard day of corruption and embezzlement.

Of course, posts like these expose people who have been enslaved by a 'born to rule' mentality. Atiku, IBB and co are like semi-gods to some people.

Atiku should shut it.

The man that tackles men from behind.

mu2sa2: From their posts u can tell those who promoted GEJ on the silly superstition that his name will bring "goodluck" to Nigeria. Alas, the opposite is happening because GEJ does not hav what it takes to rule the country successfully. In 2015 may be they will sell as a "born again". I'm not Atiku fan but the message hits the nail on the head, like it or not.
ow wud u see d goodluck wen ur boys r busy bombin d whole country

@Poster, last thing Nigeria needs, in my opinion, is more prayer. We have a populace that will rather close their eyes while the 0.01% continue to rob them blind. Nigerians need to open their eyes, not close it in prayer, and fight for a better future for themselves, and their children.

JB11: INSECURITY: We need hard work, not good luck –Atiku

Presidential aspirant and former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has said that the country does not need ‘’goodluck’’ but “hard work and prayer” to overcome the present security and political challenges facing the nation.

Speaking yesterday as the special guest of honour at the 13th Speech and Prize Giving day of EL-Amin International School Minna owned by the late former first lady, Maryam Babangida, he admitted that though the country is passing through a trying period, ‘’Nigerians must learn to stay on course’’.

The Turakin Adamawa, while speaking on the current insecurity and political situations in the country said they are challenges that would require more than “good luck” to surmount. Though luck has a role to play in human affairs, he was quick to stress that, ‘’you do not sit and wait for luck to smile on you, you have to work hard’’.

Addressing the graduating students in a paper he titled, ‘’Imperatives of staying on course’’, the former Presidential aspirant recalled that as a student he never relied on “good luck” to overcome academic challenges but attributed his successes to hard work and prayers.

Observers would be whether the former Vice president who kept harping on the word “good luck” was indirectly harping on it because of the rhyme with the president’s first name. Atiku then told the students that their graduation marks the beginning of a more challenging phase in the journey of life.

He emphasised ‘’Whether you are going on life’s journey by rail, by road, sea or by air you are likely to experience difficult challenges but you need to stay focus and stay on course’’.

The former vice president whose speech drew ovation from the audience, which included former military President, General Ibrahim Babangida and members of the National Assembly, went on memory lane, saying, ‘’I used to have a teacher in secondary school, when we are going into the examination hall and people say “good luck” he will say no! no!! No good luck but you must work hard to overcome challenges.’’

He reminded the graduating students that obstacles are inevitable in human life, maintaining that there is no journey of life without obstacles, but advised that they should not allow situations to throw them off the course.

Atiku then commended the foresight of the founder of the school, the late Mrs. Maryam Babangida for establishing the school, describing the legacy she left as an inestimable value for generations of Nigerians that would have been educated in the school in the years, saying, ‘’graduates of this great school would become key human resources for the country.”
