For so long now, Nigerians have been clamouring for change, for action, and for help. We have lost count of the number of innocent lives that have been lost in this country since 2010, we have lost count of the number of corrupt allegations that have gone un-punished since 2010, from the likes of outgone governors, to ministers under yar-adua's sick days, to senators and honourafools, we have lost count of the number of bomb blasts and destructions of monumental structures, we have lost count of road accidents, armed robbery incidents and kidnapping as well as ritual killings going on in various towns. things are so bad that Nigerians dont even have time to observe the high inflation going on underground...from the price of fuel, to electricity to transport and even "pure water"...nigerians have even overlooked the responsibility of Government to provide "pipe-borne" water...ALL WE WANT IS FOR OUR LIVES TO BE PROTECTED IN THIS COUNTRY OF OURS!!! but so far, all we have seen are inflated budget allocations, over bloated political appointments, riduculous creation of committees upon committees, from investigation committees to verification committees, recommendation committees and advisory comitees WHEN ALL WE NEED IS THE RIGHT ACTION AT THE RIGHT PLACES AND TIME...how many people have been sacked due to INEFFICIENCY to the best of my knowledge, all the sacks we have seen are outcomes of FACEBOOK REQUESTS...no real disciplinary in high places. So far, NIGERIANS ARE LOST....from doctors strikes to labour strikes to teachers strike and so on...yet NATIONAL ASSEMBLY is "very much in support of MR PRESIDENT"..CAN NATIONAL ASSEMBLY EVER IMPEACH DR GOODLUCK?

The implication of impeaching GEJ is to make Namadi Sambo president. That is unacceptable.

Ans: NO THEY CANNOT.

The mere thought of it alone is enough to bring Nigeria down because each and every member of NASS has been OR is involved in one shady deal or the other.

He who says he has no sin in him should cast the first stone.

Rather than impeachment, the very best Senate can do is Constitutional Amendment of TRUE FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY, stripping the center of MAJOR responsibility and handing it down to the Regional states. Like Ohaneze Ndi Igbo submitted a draft to NASS, me think that draft should be taken into consideration.

Dream on dude. Impeachment of GEJ in the current security state is impossible. That's what some people don't understand. Military coup is another fail because the coupist would not live to declare him/herself head of state.

It wil be best not to rock the boat @ dis moment for many reasons.
To impeach GEJ wil mean Sambo replaces him, which 2 me is akin 2 jumpin from frying pan 2 fire! No 2. The cabal and boko haram apologists wil hav a feeling of triumph.
3. The Ijaws n N.D(the goose) will feel humiliated n dejected that their son was haunted and sacked by the Hausa/fulani, this wil make them loose faith in Nigeria and result in massive millitancy as never seen b4.
3. Nigeria will be thrown into chaos and the military wil stage a coup in a last ditch effort to salvage the situation.
4. It may probably end in a civil war and the total balkanisation of Nigeria.
Disclaimer: i do not hold brief for GEJ but as a patriotic Nigerian, i think the best thing to do is to wait for 2015 and then speak with our ballot. Nigeria IS NOT GHANA BUT A VERY COMPLEX COUNTRY!
