of the accredited 600,000 voters ACN garnered a total of 431,536 over PDP 125,437 thus winning 16 of the 17 local goverment areas. I want to say a big thumb up to the vigilant electorate, INEC and the security operatives. Also to Mr President too and Governor Oshiomole hope you can now stop bitching and get to work.

18 lga were won by ACN.

hope he will still protest? I was optimistic that he will win from what was on ground cos edo people were solidly behind him but the rant in the media when he was interviewed was uncalled for. He made a lot of inciting remarks that if the table had turned round there would have been bloodshed and and he would have been responsible. The election was all for protoccol. Congrats to Oshiomole and i pray he doesnt betray the people's mandate. The president should be commended for not going against the popular will of the people

My congrats to Oshiomhole who has twice beaten Anineh to his game. This time,the humiliation was great and sweet, he did not only beat him (Anenih)but also embarrasses all the federal political brigades.

My good people of Edo State thank you very much to know the right thing to do. Edo State forward ever, but backward never.

Politics is about propaganda. It is the fastest selling political point.
1.The military that was deployed to Edo was sanctioned by the presidency controlled by the ruling party,PDP
2.The police too stationed at each polling unit is PDP controlled...remember the former commissioner who must have a working relationship with Oshiomhole was suddenly redeployed.
3.Anenih made a comment that EDO state must surely join his sister states in south south into the mainstream
4.INEC chairman and officials are all PDP cronnies-abi na ACN appoint Jega?
My dear,if you are up against these political force in isolation,your best bet is to put up a propaganda to wipe up sentiment. He (oshibaba) was only trying to alert people to protect their votes. It so happened in Imo state and youths took to the streets to personally monitor and guide against rigging during the run-off that produced the incumbent governor.

Edo is really working, Adam carry on your good works.

Some people have been going around naively praising GEJ for delivering free and a fair election in Edo but in my opinion, that is absolute rubbish. If GEJ and his pdp had the chance, they would have rigged that election big time. Unfortunately for them, Adams was just too powerful and most importantly, he had the FULL support of the edo people. There are some situations where presidential backing and pdp affiliations cant win u victory, typical example was Rochas vs. Ohakim

I neva believed d could be defeated till last year wen it happened in ma state(imo)we came out and stood by our APGA candidate Rochas but d bad news is dat he is likely to join PDP after the death of hez APGA political godfather Ojukwu to boost hez chances of becoming a president someday.
