@Sokovilla i understand your plight. The thing is that, your state(Oyo state) is not a catchment area of ABU zaria and as such only the best of the best will be selected from there. I am a 300 level pharmacy student in the school, people from non-catchment areas are usually one or two.I will implore you to continue hoping for the best because 2nd list is still on the way.

ABU Admission Screening Form, Cut Off Mark 2017/18. This is to inform aspirants of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria that the registration for the 2017/2018 academic session has started.

Eligibility for ABU Admission Screening:

i) Candidates who scored 180 and above in UTME for all courses.
ii) And must have chosen Ahmadu Bello University as their first choice.
How to Apply for ABU Admission Screening

-Candidates are to visit https://putme.abu.edu.ng for instructions and registration.

-Candidates will be required to make payment of N2,500 (Two thousand hundred five hundred Naira only) as screening fee.







-Payment should be made via Remita, using any acceptable debit card (Visa, Verve, MasterCard) or by printing the Remita Retrieval reference (RRR) slip and Proceeding to any commercial bank for payment.

-Candidates are to print their online screening slips carrying their passport – sized photographs as confirmation of completion of the process.

-NOTE: Only those who completed the online screening would be considered for admission. Candidates must keep photocopies of all submissions for their own records.

The Original JAMB result slip is an official document you will likely need to during your admission screening exercise and other admission matters.
The process of printing your JAMB original Result Slip is very easy. This means you can actually do it yourself.
How To Print Your 2017 JAMB Original Result Slip
1.Login to your Jamb Account at Jamb.org.ng/efacility
Note:Do not login with another persons account unless you are printing for that person.
2. Under the list of services, Click on the "Print Result Slip"
3. On the next page that appears, click "continue with payment" to make payment via Remita or other options available
4. If the payment is successful, your JAMB Original result slip will be displayed and you can proceed to print it immediately. It will equally be sent to your email address in case you prefer to print it later.
Note:
1. The cost for the printing of the JAMB Original Result Slip is One Thousand Naira (N 1000).
2. The JAMB Original Result Slip must bear you passport photograph on it.

ABU POST UTME Registration – This was how ABU Post UTME registration was done Last year. Note that there may be changes to this and we shall update that in due time.

Procedure for ABU 2017/20178 Post UTME Online Registration for UTME Screening

First of all to make the payment, candidates are advised to visit the Ahmadu Bello University PUTME registration portal www.putme.abu.edu.ng and Generate a Transaction Payment Slip, print the slip and proceed to any of the designated banks below for payment.

Candidates are to use their JAMB registration number as their username and their respective states of origin as password for logging in.

After making payment in any of the prescribed banks, candidates are to come back here putme.abu.edu.ng to finish their registration and schedule for the screening test.





A printout of candidate schedule slip with the passport photograph and a printout of the UTME result MUST be submitted on the day of the screening. Candidates MUST keep photocopies of all submissions for their own records.

Candidates MUST arrive at the screening venue at least One Hour before their scheduled screening time, to ensure proper briefing and accreditation.

Please note that

GSM Phones are not allowed during the ABU Post-UTME Screening Exercise.
Only JAMB calculator will be allowed into the venue.
Parents, Guardians and uninvited law enforcement agencies will not be allowed into the venue during the screening exercise.

ALL Aspirants, candidates should take note that the Post UTME Registration will begin Late July and will end in the Month of August.

All Candidates that choose the Ahmadu Bello University (abu) as their First choice and Score the cut off point and above are qualified for the registration.

THE Ahmadu Bello University management has set it official cut off marks at 180 UTME scores and above.

Please take note that the screening exercise would be through Computer-Based Test (CBT).

Step By Step Guidelines For ABU Zaria UTME Screening Online Registration

ALL aspirants and qualified candidates should note that the registration for the ABU post utme screening exercise will begi August and close ending of August.

Applicants are required to pay a sum of Two thousand, two hundred Naira Only (N2,200.00) for the screening exercise.

While the bank administrative will charge each candidates N200.00 for the registration.

To make a successful payment, each eligible candidates should visit the University PUTME registration portalputme.abu.edu.ng and generate a Transaction Payment Slip, then print out the slip and proceed to any of the designated banks below for payment.

It is very important to note here, that each candidates are required to use their JAMB registration number as their username and their respective states of origin as password for logging into the ABU post utme registration portal.

After you must have made a successful payment in any of the prescribed banks, candidates are to come back to the school PUTME portal putme.abu.edu.ng, where they are to complete their registration and schedule for the screening exercise.

Take note that the printout of each candidate’s schedule slip with the passport photograph and a printout of the UTME Original result slip MUST be submitted on the day of the screening test, this will enable the school knows which candidates registered and paid the PUTME Registration fee.

It is also important here, that all candidates MUST keep photocopies of all submissions for their own records, just in case it is needed for another day.

It is also important that all candidates MUST arrive at the screening venue at least, an Hour before their scheduled screening time, this is to help the school administration properly arrange the students with briefing and accreditation.

All applicants should take note of the following important information as follows:

Mobile Phones are not allowed and highly prohibited during the Post-UTME Screening Exercise.

THE Only gadgets allowed is JAMB calculator.

Screening Exercise Venues

ABU Post UTME 2017 Registration Procedures

Step 1: Visit the ABU PUTME registration page by clicking Here, and when it loads up on your browsers/device screen, proceed and type in your JAMB number and select your state of origin on the login page and click on login.

Step 2: Immediately, a transaction id will be generated for you, you are to print out the slip and go to any of the designated banks which is listed above and pay the registration fee, which is in sum of N2,200.00 (Two thousand, two hundred) Naria only, Banks fee of N200 is excluded.

Step 3: After you have completed the payment, proceed back to the school portal and login to complete your registration and schedule for the screening test.

Step 4: Please ensure that you provide your personal records and all requirements if missing and click update.

Step 5: Please note that you are also required (It’s a Must) to provide a valid GSM number and email address, it’s for your own good, because this will be the ONLY means by which the school will reach out to you, to inform you, if your application was successful or not.

Step 6: You are also required to upload your true passport size photograph in JPG format (not more than 100KB) and O/level results (where available).

Step 7: Choose awaiting result where applicable. Ensure that your photograph is uploaded and your photograph is not up to 3 -6 months old. A recent photograph of you is highly recommended.

Step 8: When you are done, then click on the”Save” button.

Step 9: You will be redirected to the Portal where you will be scheduled for the screening test.

Step 10: Print out two (2) copies of the Scheduling slip and bring them alongside with you for the screening exercise, it may be used as the gate ticket  .

Most importantly, all candidates should report to the new Lecture Hall, which is located at:

Faculty of Social Science, Main Campus, Ahmadu Bello University, Samaru, Zaria.

Time should be at least, one hour before the scheduled time as indicated on the candidate’s slip.
