Poems For Review / I Came by Ajibel(m): 5:36am On Apr 03 |
I came twice at dawn, when the sky was aglow. And in that moment, I feel my spirit grow. This felt good afterwards, a sense of peace, As concerns faded away, a sweet relief. With the sun's gentle kiss a new day is born, I came twice at dawn, and I am reborn. - Prontomaster 1 Like |

I understand the idea Finidi is coming up with, by playing from the back and pressing high up. Unfortunately we don't have the players with the required technique to execute them. See silly error we take concede. Smh 1 Like |

Politics / Re: Constitution review: NASS okays Independent Candidacy, 50% waiver for women by Ajibel(m): 3:47pm On May 16, 2023 |
According to Constitution Alteration Bill No 58, for any Nigerian national to contest presidential election as independent candidate, he or she must obtain the verified signatures of at least 20 per cent of registered voters from each State of the Federation provided that a registered voter shall not sign for more than one independent candidate in respect of the same office. They made the hurdle really high. I was thinking something along the line of verified signatures of at least 25 per cent of registered voters from 24 States 1 Like |

kabukabu50: If you take a look at the fact that Lagos is just few metres above sea level with several built up areas, you would see how having a subway system isn't feasible in Lagos. We all saw the cost of the Blue rail line which had an overhead route. Now imagine what it will cost to build a subway system And you say Rail is how you move commuters quickly through a large urban area not ferries?, as if you are not aware of the on-going Blue and Red rail lines being constructed by the government. Isn't the construction of both rail routes a way of moving commuters quickly? Should the government stop the development of ferry transport that connects riverine communities to focus on rail? Can't the two modes of transport be done simultaneously? 2 Likes |
