Bro I'm not here to fight u, ascribing spirit of backwardness to a particular religion was wrong. I know u might have just said it for fun but still ain't too cool.
Peace brother and have a great weekend ahead.

Why asking?
He's asking because your initial comment depicts exactly who you are. You sounded just like a religious bigot filled with lots of intolerance. It doesn't cost a thing to either love or stay neutral irrespective of your religious inclination.

You are the one of those he deceived.
His last week of January and First week of February failed. It was pure guess work and don’t forget he’s got a blog wink. I even told you guys that nothing would happen before February 14th. Ya all were praising Jarus and insulting me. When his predictions failed, he couldn’t hide his face in shame.
He has nothing to drop with regards to EH. Ya all should wait including the remaining lucky GTs to be called.
Things can change anytime at the towers and even some key managers can't authoritatively tell you exactly when it would be released. He (Mr Jarus) was only informing the house based on the information he got from his sources at the towers which is sometimes subject to change.
Complete silence is sometimes depressing. These informations gives a sense of Hope and relief to us.
Now that you've discouraged him and accused him of being a scam, I haven't seen your updates filling the blank space by giving us relevant info.

Sorry bro, but could you tell me the aspect of this comment that is distasteful? For crying out loud, contract staff is not a practice that is encouraged by any aspect of our laws. This has been an issue the trade unions in the oil and gas industry have always fought against. It is called casualization of Nigerian staff in many of the IOCs. What is distasteful in pointing this out? Can't you see how this contract staff practice has spoiled banking jobs in Nigeria? Banking jobs used to be very attractive as at when the banks were springing up; until they introduce contract staff practice. Please, show me the part of my comment that is distasteful.
I understand your stand and displeasure on the contract staff issues but you also need to be tolerant and have an open mind on others perspective too. Some words you earlier used in your previous comment were not too cool. One thing I'm so sure of is that what is yours would never ever pass you weather contract staff conversion or not. Lets focus on getting important /relevant info on the EHs Employment Status and let those contract guys be as its just causing unnecessary debate and distractions. Like my humble brother said "live and let us live"

Please, cite the aspect of the law that provided for contract staff. You guys would be supporting rubbish because it perhaps benefits you. May be it is because we are sugar-coating it by calling it "contract staff", that's why you are sounding somewhat comfortable with it. Contract staff is basically casual staff and our laws frown at it. The labour unions have been fighting against this for long. You can employ people to be doing regular jobs and tag them contract staff. But people still keep getting into the system when their relatives or friends are occupying critical positions. And they accept the contract staff thing with the hope that one day they would force the management to regularize them. Nobody promised them they would be regularized.
Your manner of approach and the way you make your point is very distasteful.
There are better ways of debating and enlightening each other.

I'm Yoruba but Igbos need to stop underestimating other people. It's the sole reason they lost woefully in their failed Biafra attempt. Northerners are extremely intelligent also. Infact an average Kano man is extremely intelligent and calculative. The idea that academic merit should favour only the south is nothing short of crazy but when northerners are chosen in large numbers it can only be through God-fatherism. This thought process is simply pathetic and shows your lack of exposure cos if you had ever left your mother's laps you would learn many things about other tribes in Nigeria
How can i like your comment more than once. Some people are just soo full of them selves.

No need to get personal. I feel as though this might be Helen Paul but I do have a PhD from Chicago Illinois. So when I say it's all about the title and greasing in Nigeria I know what I am on about. Nigerian Doctorate Degree Holders are majorly a bunch of idle hands with nothing to do other than acquiring titles that do not match their intellectual abilities when u have a one on one with them. It's the honest truth. Bitter but true.
You may have a PhD from a foreign university but form your initial comment, you're so oblivious about Nigerian institutions. Really u need to apologize for your initial comments where you tried to rubbish Nigerian PhD holders. I'm currently running my Masters in ABU and i have senior colleagues running their PhD aswell. I know the hell, effort and sacrifice were going through. You don't have any right to say such.

Who is fooling who? PhD in Nigeria is bagged by the illiterate who can't even construct a sentence in English. It's all about wearing gown& title and answering doctor that their levels of intellect don't match. Her caption says it all "first stand up comedian to bag a phd' That is all Helen Paul couldn't wait to say. PhD my foot .Nigeria is a mess even a danfo driver will bag a PhD if he greases the right palms.
If it's that easy to bag a PhD, what are you waiting for? People like you spilled like twice before you got your bsc and now you're spewing trash.

If I say that the presidency is filled with maggots, it would look as if that I am hating.
These people are hell bent in ensuring that southern Christians are intimidated/eradicated with their intention of establishing sharing law all over the country.
The attack on Ipob is an attack on Igbos/Christians because, Igbos are 99.9℅ Christians and Ipob is ibo and ibo is Ipob because they ordered Sit at home order and everybody complied.Forget all these pretence as if the attack is targeted on Ipob only.
They are gradually spreading their wings.

Osun state and Kano recently declared public holidays celebrating Islamic whatever whatever in a secular state like Nigeria.
They started with Ipob today, tomorrow is another group
Once they are done with Igbos, Yorubas will be very easy because half of us are Muslims..
Igbos are those checkmating the northern and Islamic dominance in Nigeria because they are all Christians. They know that Ibos are very stubborn that's why they had to start them, but ibo governors won't read the hand writing on the wall because they are busy struggling to protect their selfish interest(looting). If they succeed in dealing with Ibos, Islamization agenda will become easy to implement but God forbids.

Sharia law is already in 12 states
(Don't forget that Nigeria is a secular state). Look at the second picture I attached below.
Head slammers are free to cry on my mentions as usual.

Ur comment lacks logical reasoning. I just wasted my time reading this shit. I swear u are so dull and the hate for Islam and northerners has clouded your reasoning. I just pray ur children don't take after this ur fish brain cos if they do, they will be a bigger failure to the society.

There is nothing derogatory about the comment. The truth is the truth. We need to stop being sentimental and accept the truth when we see one. Anyway that's just my opinion.
Oya sorry, e yaf do.
But as a matter of fact, its not like we're abandoning nairaland, we just created the whatsapp group to facilitate easy communication among us. But I guarantee you and others that if any important info/update comes up, we will certainly update others here on nairaland.

lol We blacks have a long way to go. Nigerian graduates are indeed very unemployable. Some of them that drop their number on a public forum to an unknown group are just examples of Nigerian graduates. They don't think or care, they would even insult you if you try to do the right thing, they would ask what is your business. Why you may ask,

First of all, even PTDF reps on Nairaland did not open any whatsapp group but communicated to us via email, twitter and Nairaland. The first thing a Nigerian graduate would never ask is "What is the purpose of this". SMH see all of you at the induction if any !
So do have to criticize/ insult when correcting people. Knowledge is an ocean with no coast. We learn everyday.
Your comment sounds derogatory.

You are wise indeed! But unfortunately, hit-n-run folks can never think in this manner.
They forgot too soon that this platform was where they found their root in ptdf matters. They came, they saw and they misappropriated.
Don't blame the lss folks for creating a whatsapp group, this forum became very cold and lacked proper channelling of info since the shortlisting began.
A whatsapp group would enable proper communication with ease and convenience.
Perhaps all the oss folks have since disappeared prior to their induction. The forum have already served its purpose for creation.

All I'm saying is that in Nigerian institutions, booking an appointment with the VC is like a mission impossible.

Is being a university lecturer a criterion for the scholarship, if yes. Then, do one of two things:
1. Go to a private uni, book an appointment with the VC. Tell him in simple terms. A temporary appointment would do, no compensation is required. You'd even volunteer to lecture one month for free upon returning from studies.

2. Apply the same technique to a state university. But, go back to your state of origin and see the VC of your state university. It'll work. You should have come to seek advice before now. This is September already.

Wishing you the best in your academic journey. Cheers!
Is that how easy it is booking an appointment with the VC of ur school?
We're talking about the no 1 man in that institution. Sincerely this might take a whole lot of time
