i felt like i have been forsaken by God again.
still yet i told myself i won't quit trying.
but sincerely there's no money for me to purchase this year jamb, i have struggle all i could , but no one to help me.
and the date is nearby is closing on 6th.
i finally give up.
i open this thread today that someone might hear my story and purchase this form for me.
this is all i want.
this is only my last hope. i know there's good person out there.

Let me advice u jare, physiotherapy is not lucrative at all, OPTOMETRY is more lucrative than ur course. Is either u study Optometry or u die of hunger. The best medical course is Optometry. Take it or leave it.

Am 100% sure that you didnt put in optometry as your dream course when filling your jamb. Is either u are one of the Remnants of medicine or dentistry which couldn't meet up with cut off mark. Or I guess u av no option than to choose a less competitive course like optometry, just to save your Dugan heels, at least some citizen will can still call u a Doctor.

Oga don't talk crap. There is no money in dentistry outside govt subsidy. So you perform ocular chirugeries also. Maybe clinical refraction, orthoptics and ocular diagnosis too. I shudder at ur ignorance. Dentists are the least used Healthcare professionals in Nigeria. U r shouting maxillofacial and neck injury, what percentage of ur class will get residency slot. Few maybe, the rest will be hungry. Even your consultants are poor compared with top optometrists. You will agree that ophthalmologists are way richer than dentists. Yet you don't know that many optometrists are richer than ophthalmologists. Oga thank God for NMA, if not dentistry would have suffered worse fate than they currently face in Nigeria. Have you never gone for a medical Outreach? Who sees the highest number of patients... U r telling me about the money u think u will make if you finish residency... I laugh... They pay the eye clinic 25k per patient to use their equipment making it 25mil.The rest 35 million is theirs. Just for a few days work. What will a dentist do to make this kind of money in just a few days? Ask Kwara state govt how much they paid for Outreach June last year. Don't compare dentistry with optometry . what is more, u said a dentist is usually the first to identify ophthalmic patients and manage them b4 referring. So a dentist can now manage an ophthalmic patients... Hahaha. Even a general medical practitioner cannot say what you are saying now. Have u ever seen an ophthalmic case note at all... Just yesterday Clinix, a multicare hospital in Lagos in conjunction with Redeemed organized a medical Outreach. 80% were ophthalmic pxs, all seen by optometrists. There are only two eye doctors in Nigeria:optometrists and ophthalmologists. To mention dentistry and eyes together is to flood our society with blindness. Enjoy your pittance conmess salary.
