Good afternoon. I am trying to apply for a self service in TLS for my mum. As an intl student, I have invited her, and also attached proofs of schooling and housing. She is retired, so we attached her retirement letter. My dad also has his financial consent letter (he is her sponsor). Do we need to explain the source of his income in his consent letter? Then also, where do I attach pictures showing family ties during the self service? Do I attach in the section tagged others? Also, do I need to download and attach her visa application form on the tls self service upload? Thanks all |

Sominablack: You want things done decently in YOUR family. Does the family consist of one person alone? Since it is YOUR family, she has left you emotionally so you can go have intimacy with yourself. Pun intended. You can’t be hurting her and expect her to be happy with you. 1 Like |
Science/Technology / Re: Have You Been Bitten By A Cockroach Before?11 by Breadfruit: 11:16pm On Apr 19, 2022 |
Yes. During NYSC service that year, I was feeling a persistent pain on my finger during sleep. I awoke and behold, a cockroach was gnawing on the inside part of my finger. I flung it away and in the days following, proceeded to fumigate the entire flat (which I was sharing with some other guys and ladies). See hordes of dead cockroaches lying on their backs. |

This is really bad, ABU is a place that has always enjoyed tight security. In 04 and 05, I could even go to the cyber cafe opposite the school for night browsing. It was scary going back to school 4am in the morning but safe. As long as no one knew my movement. Now, one can't even try it lest one falls into the hands of bandits lurking around. This country is going, going...gone. |

falcon01: I don’t understand. Am I not trying to get information from the internet now? I knew what I wanted but after speaking to a few IT people, no one could give me what I wanted until I came here. After all, I will analyze and interpret the data myself. I am writing the whole work myself, literature review which I am reading widely. If I need Sudan newspapers, in this age why travel to Sudan to get hundreds of newspapers spanning over 10 years, from different regions, when I can mine such off the internet. The hard way is not always the only way please. We make things difficult for ourselves in Nigeria. |

Good day all, I am not really sure if this is the right section but I need help. I am carrying out a research on a particular topic. I am wondering if I can get an application that would glean information for me. For example, An application that will extract from the internet all Daily Trust newspaper reports on Boko Haram, from 2010 to 2020. I will print it out and carry out my research. Please, please, please, I need help. |
