melodyogonna:

That by itself won't improve power. But it also gives the state the power to generate its own electricity. We have a lot of coal in Enugu, it should be relatively easy for us to find investors willing to invest in our power sector.

Basically, it depends on whether the state government can attract investments to the power sector

We have an illustrious son who is already in that line of business already; Barth Nnaji, what stops the state govt from luring him to invest in the state now both in gas and coal...

Do you know that the Geometric Power Plant was initially conceived for Emene Industrial Layout in Enugu?

Politics / Re: Yaya Bello: EFCC Ask Abuja School To Refund $845,000(pic) by christejames(m): 9:20am On Apr 26
SoNature:

This is wrong; you cannot shut the school down. EFCC should go and deal with Bello who paid tuition fees in advance. If your father decides to pay your tuition fees from year 1 to final year in the university, why would you call that aiding and abetting crimes? So, it's not the school's fault that Bello used public funds to pay for education services.

In countries like the US and UK, EFCC may not even receive the full amount. The school will deduct tuition fees for services rendered so far and taxes on the sum received. Afterwards, they refund the balance. That's why some UK schools don't refund tuition fees in full if their embassy rejects your visa application.

Wrong as in how?

Why does the law talk about and also charge accomplice? undecided

Like they say, ignorance is not an excuse before the law βš–. The school should be sanctioned to serve as deterrent to others...

Unfortunately, there is no law in Nigeria πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬ cry cry cry

But our so called northern brethren who now practice the religion more than the aborigines from the Middle East will always use their hisbah to destroy something that they indirectly benefits from through tax grin grin grin?

CORNfused 🌽 entity.

Bigotism has really dealt a massive blow to Africa, we no longer care about our tradition most especially the Northern Muslims, they've excised their tradition and put on mostly the tradition of the Arabians. You will never see the Iranian Muslims, Chinese Muslims, Indian Muslims, the Turkish Muslims, even the Senegalese or Gambian Muslims forget about their tradition or culture even as they are staunch Muslims amongst them, unlike our northern brethren.

I will cut the North Central Muslims, South Western Muslims some slacks though.

Nigeria πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬ indeed, is an embarrassment to Africa. It still marvels and outstands me that some grown up men and women Overtly behaving as zombies will always accept any policy thrown at them by the govt in power even without critical analysis.

Africa was once seen as the dark continent of the world, but recently, smaller countries in the continent have been embarking on developments which has been pulling Africa into the world except Nigeria πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬ that doesn't want to progress with time, courtesy of our inept leaders.

Indeed, Nigeria is dragging Africa backward because she is now the dark country of the continent.
