RickyJesus:

That is one is different brother and understandable but most of them can type (the spelling doesn't matter self).

The issue is that initially they might be typing oh, then boom out of no where the person would drop a VN; now that's a communication problem, it changes the dynamic of the interaction entirely.

You don't know the nature of my surrounding if I could easily listen to it and reply you (sometimes I would try and make an effort to listen to it anyway and reply but even after trying multiple time I would just give up from the frog voice).

The thing is you were quick to call some people dull up there but it's obvious you're the dull one. Like very very dull.

Now check this out, You and someone were communicating via text, and then eventually he got drifted by a situation where by he/she cannot type at that moment, (let's say he starts walking on the road) but the conversation is important, don't you think it would warrant the person to do a VN instead of typing?

The issue is you are only about your own conveniences not minding the situation of the other person, yet you were quick to open your mouth to be mentioning selfish and unreasonable.

You too daft Abeg

RickyJesus:
I took my time to type a reasonable message to you and all of a sudden you are sending VN to me, do you know if I am in an appropriate place to listen to your frog voice and respond? It just seem selfish and unreasonable.

I normally let the person know about the inappropriateness, but if the person continues; I reply whenever I can.

Are you yourself not selfish and unreasonable? Just because you hate some form of communication doesn't mean others should refrain from using it. And everyone must not choose a particular form of communication just because that's the one you prefer.

WhatsApp call, video, and Voice note are some of the best innovation in WhatsApp. Especially in Nigeria where many people are not too fluent in writing English, voice note comes to the rescue. One can easily send a voice note in place of writing 1000 words, it saves time, energy, and it also saves money too. Additionally, a voice note, can reveal the tone of your message. Many people misunderstood your tone sometimes when you messaged via text, remember we're in Nigeria, most people hear English, but not many really understands the language

It's very obvious you're not in the business world where you have to communicate with clients, business partners and industry people on a regular basis otherwise you won't be typing the trash you wrote up there

Nigerians in particular don’t take safety serious undecided

My safety is my number priority in anywhere I find myself.

A Yahoo boy that booked me was taking me out with his car, I sat in the front sit with my seatbelt on, he was just driving with speed and there was a deep porthole in front of us, he didn’t see it on time, the moment he sighted it he quickly held his brake so carelessly. Thank God I used a seatbelt else I would have jumped out through the glass screen because I felt the force with the way the seatbelt dragged me back.

Only God knows what would have happened to me undecided

Nigerians should learn to take safety seriously.

Romance / Re: People In Their 30s With No Kids And Single, How Do Y’all Feel by cigaricon(m): 4:56pm On Apr 03
barrydee:
This OP is not wise at all.
Africa needs to grow beyond this mindset. Having a wife and kids is not an achievement but a fulfillment which by the way, different people have their own definition of fulfillment.

If you are a man in your 30s living in a difficult country like Nigeria, i advise you chase the bread to better your life & your future. If you stumble on a good woman while at it, you can marry her but if you allow societal pressure to make you marry one of these damaged, unproductive, & useless slay queens who are liabilities as a wife, sorry na your name.

You can still get married in your late 30s or early 40s and live a fulfilled life & by the time you are in your 60s, your kids would be in their eaely 20s keeping you company, running erands for you and making you happy while you relax and groom them to takeover your business/empire aince you utilized your youthful era to make some good investments.

Unlike those niggas who got married in their 20s using all their energy as youths just to fend, suffer and provide for the family. By the time they hit 60, no major investments, their kids have all abandoned them to begin their own lives/families making them feel lonely and abandoned. Only few lucky ones get regular visits, care and gifts from their kids at this point.
That's if their wives don't turn their kids against them.

So much sense in this comment but myopic minds will disagree cos they've been wired to satisfy social pressure. Marriage is not an achievement but a fulfillment. Well said

Proof that men don't really want women.

Somewhere in Nigeria, there's a girl with an actual vagina who no man will spend more than 2k on. Because she's not pretty enough, or well maintained. But a guy will dress up and boom, he's game for a senator, even enough to pay millions to woo him.

Nah, many guys just want that beautiful painted face and the fashion and the hair and the body. Creepy fact, once all that is there, it doesn't matter who or what that person is underneath. That's why a lot of guys can date a beautiful beast.

Thrash. What is the statistics of Heterosexual people compared to homosexuals?

Romance / Re: I Sent Her Out Of My House Late In The Night: Did I Do The Right Thing? by cigaricon(m): 7:21pm On Mar 23
AyobamiOluwole:
So this girl has been coming to my place, eat the best food and all that. I've asked her if she has a boyfriend and she said no. I do give her money without asking her for anything on return because I could see she is not the lazy type and she is really hardworking. I am very much ok with finances and I see no issues with some of her demands.

Yesterday I called her and told her that I'm not happy and that I need cuddle only and not sex(I lost so much Dollars from futures trading that night). She later called and said she will come to my place for that reason. In my mind I was thinking this will go down as sex and all, but I don't really want sex.

All I just needed is someone to cuddle and get distracted with that's all. This is the only time I am demanding something from her.

So she came during the evening time, and later that night we went to supermarket and I got her something's to eat at home for the night. We got back home and everything was going well. We were both on the bed when I reminded her why she came. This is someone I've been doing quite a lot for without even thinking twice out of pity. She wouldn't give in and wouldn't let me know why she can't just allow me to cuddle her.

Mehn, from the loss I had earlier and all that, I got infuriated and called another girl telling to pls come over for the night. Then I told this girl to leave my house since she can be that selfish. I sent her out of my house around 10pm. She was telling me she doesn't have money to go home, I didn't care and I shut my door against her. Though I was scared letting her out on that road and that time of the night but my anger got the better part of me. It was later after getting over the whole thing I confirmed nothing happened to her from someone else.

Pls is there anything wrong with what I did?

Modified: Anger is a bad thing. I am wrong sending her away at that time of the night. This is probably the judgement I'll get 😔

All these because of ordinary cuddle... Guy you're too petty Abeg. If you wanted to straf her, why not man up and make advances prior to this. It's very obvious you want to have s*x with her but you weren't man enough to tell her your feelings. .

Abeg shift, we have better things to worry about

Faiththatworks:
I believe at this point some people are bent on sabotaging the government.
Why is everything getting so expensive,it seems Nigeria is now an extension of the United States.
Once the Naira falls to the Dollar, everything rises in Nigeria,I'm wondering how everything involved in the production of pure water is connected to the Dollar.
I believe it's time for Government to intervene and stop the sabotage.
Seriously,I don't think anyone should blame Asiwaju for what's happening in Nigeria,it shows the extent of decline on our nation.
It shows out total dependence on foreign countries for survival.
I say shame on our leaders,a big shame on them.
I implore Government to keep adding more taxes on all these imported goods,we must get to the point where we must begin to look inwards to survive.
If we can't produce ordinary nylon bags to package pure water and we have to also import the chemicals to purify the water, then I say Nigeria has a very serious problem.
For those who believe Asiwaju is the cause of this I implore you to have a rethink, why should we Ignore the bigger problem and focusing on the smaller ones.
God bless Nigeria.

Talking about if PO had won, was PO the only one on the ballot? According to mumu inec Atiku came second which technically means that if your drug lord hadn't bought his way into power, Atiku should have been the one on the seat. Why not say "If Atiku had won"?
