ogenel7: It depends on which documents they are still waiting to receive. If all documents have been received and your are sure due to tracking, then any moment soon, you will get the acknowledgement mail and your 8 weeks starts counting down. Koko is to track your documents if possible. Also you can send them a mail asking for the status of your application, with that they will tell you what documents are still outstanding. Pls make sure you quote your pebc identification number in the subject of your mail. All the best. 1 Like |

BanjiHols:The child NA citizen abi? That one alone sef na free entry. I believe the child should have a Canadian passport. If yes then that's all if no then probably they issued a COPR for the child. I don't know again Sha. Ask the mother what passport documents the child has. |

BanjiHols:Is the child a US citizen? If yes, US citizens don't need a visa to enter Canada. I believe the child was issued COPR, even as a US citizen such child will still be issued this. |

Homguy:PEBC of course. The question asked was related to licensure, not ECA. For licensure, people with Bpharm from the USA skip a step while others with Bpharm from Nigeria for example skip no step. |

intjgirl:1. Yes. If your Bpharm was from US, you would have skipped a step 2. No idea about industrial work. But for community, hospital, yes it's needed. |

Pls no mind my plenty questions, I am just in the planning phase. Thanks |

dislat:Yes you can but through pebc. To practice pharmacy in Canada you need to undergo the licensure procedures, write exams etc via pebc. Check their website for the steps to take as an international pharmacy graduate. |

sexymj:You have posted it already. We are saying the same thing. Practising in Canada has nothing to do with cic. All they care about is the eca from pebc from those who practice pharmacy profession here with pcn license (community and hospital). I have no idea for industrial pharmacists. Using pebc actually is also a plus for those who intend to practice in Canada, cos aside from eca report, one is also given a letter that qualifies us to apply for the Evaluating exams. It's also stated on pebc website. 1 Like |

sexymj:Well even if one doesn't want to practice or write the evaluation exams, as far as such person is applying as a hospital or community pharmacist, such person must use Pebc for ECA. Pharmacists who get ECA from pebc are automatically eligible for evaluation exams. It's now left for the pharmacist to decide whatever career path he/she takes after landing. Most people have the misconception that using pebc is only if one wants to practice, but it's not. It's for ECA and for pebc to formally invite you to apply for the Evaluating exams so it's like killing two birds with a stone. Lol 1 Like |

sexymj:WES is acceptable for pharmacist whose work experience isn't community or hospital pharmacy. Eg pharmacists that have work experience as med sales rep can use Wes. Meaning any work experience whereby our license isn't required, such person can use Wes or any other body.. Pebc is compulsory for pharmacists whose work experience is hospital or community. That was why I asked what noc code her friend Is applying as and what experience she has. |
