Reports indicate that Princess Love was arrested in New Orleans for allegedly beating the daylights out of Ray J. The on-off girlfriend of Ray J attacked him last Wednesday morning around 3am in New Orleans. The incident occurred after he had return to his hotel from a strip club.

According to Ray J, Princess went ‘ballistic’ before cracking several of his ribs, busting his lip open, and tearing a ligament in his knee. He had said this while reporting to the police.

A witness staying at the W French Quarter Hotel confirmed that he heard Princess scream: “I’m gonna kill you”

Meanwhile,a security guard at the complex then saw Ray J bleeding and had called 911 to his rescue.

Princess Love was arrested and booked for domestic abuse and battery. Reports indicate that Ray J himself had bailed her out and paid the sum of $10K for her lawyer.

According to reports, the fan, Steven Donaldson, paid $100 dollars entry fee to see P Diddy who was suppose to host the party but didn’t show up till early hours on Sunday, February 1.
A video recovered from the event showed Donaldson confronting the star for paying a lot of money only not to see him at the event. Donaldson claimed that the star punched him and had him thrown out of the party.
Donaldson has however filed a report and the police are planning to question Diddy regarding the incident.

Nigeria’s President, Goodluck Jonathan interacted with stakeholders at a private meeting with entertainers in Lagos recently, setting up a presidential intervention scheme to improve the technical and professional capacity in the value chain of the Nigerian movie industry.
The scheme which was tagged ‘Project ACT Nollywood’ and similar to the N3b Nollywood Intervention Fund launched 4 years ago by the Jonathan administration.
The project is expected to tackle the major challenge working against the optimum development of the sector – a poor distribution system, menace of piracy, improving the distribution of audio-visual content, and to better protect intellectual property in the industry.
According to a Vanguard report, the Special Adviser, Media to CME, Paul C. Nwabuikwu, issued a statement in Abuja recently that the Innovation Development Fund is targeted at businesses that operates or plan to operate in the film distribution space.
The project will also aim at making pirated Nollywood movies very unattractive to consumers; a move which experts believe can only be achieved by ensuring genuine products are easily made available to the consumers through various outlets.
Applications for the distribution fund are welcome through the Project ACT online web portal which will be operational for a 2 month period having started on January 19, 2015.

“On hitting the brakes, I skidded off the bridge. As I was skidding off, I saw the guy driving off. He (The driver) didn’t even know what was happening behind him.
“I tumbled about eight times. I was consciously counting while I tumbled the bridge and across the last express lane.
“It was like a stunt from an action film, and I came whole and we’ll. It is such a miracle that I can’t stop talking about.”
