I have tried but it seems I'm not holy/ripe enough for it cos I no dey fall and i don't want to memorise it lyk some penteco churches.I understand its a necessary experience for a xtain in order to communicate more with God but I won't force it.
God knws my heart ,when he's ready he'll baptise me.

I'm sorry my response is coming late and hopefully, I could have replied you in the past. I will check. Find a pentecostal church and ask the Pastors wife that you desire to be baptized in the Holy Spirit. It's as easy as that sis. Sometimes prayers has to be made before one can receive the baptism

Acts 8:14-17
Acts 19:1-7

It just occurred to me that even in Acts 10, it was because those guys were under the direct ministration of a man of God that operate in the power of the Holy Ghost and can proper administer it, that's why they received. God will not give you something and you end up being more confused at the end of the day. He's not the author of confusion. He will give it to you under the right teaching and right environment, so that you can nurture the gift properly. I attend a church that does not speak in tongues and people rarely speak in tongues there and people don't receive the gift there, be that's how the church is structured. God can't step in because they don't know so much. So God will only relate with them at the level of their knowledge. My people are destroyed because of lack of knowledge. He that increaseth knowledge, increaseth strength. Increase in knowledge, change associations and watch your spiritual life grow

Religion / Re: God Said He Is Not A Man So When Did He Change? by Hier(m): 9:28pm On May 05
When we call Jesus God, we are not referring to the physical form of Jesus, but the spiritual part of Jesus

God is a Spirit (John 4:24), that's what the Bible says and that's why Jesus would say, He that has seen me has seen the father.

He wasn't referring to His physical self, but the spirit inside Him

When Gabriel told Mary about the birth of Jesus, she asked, how shall this be, them Gabriel said, the power of the most High, meaning the spirit of God shall descend upon thee and that thing that shall be born. Luke 1:35

The woman gave birth to a flesh, but the real thing came from Heaven which was the Spirit of God.

And the Spirit of God is not like something you can restrict, it can be here and it can be there, Jesus said I proceeded out of the Father, Jesus said the Holy Spirit proceeds out of God. 1X1X1=1, because it is the same one thing

John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Luke 1:35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

John 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

John 8:42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
He sent me here refer to His assignment as human

1 Corinthians 15:47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.

I really still don't understand the reason for fuel scarcity

In my area, black market is between 1200 and 1500

No filling station is selling, maybe one or two and the queue is always massive

Those selling for 1200, are using 850ml measurements for sales. embarassed embarassed

Foreign Affairs / Re: Tanzania Shuts Down 5 Hydroelectric Stations To Reduce Excess Electricity by Hier(m): 10:32am On Apr 25
tommy589:

They will not read that. No disagreement about disappointments from our leaders but why hating your country to only stick to read only headlines

This is what I found and copied from Google

"How many people in Tanzania don't have electricity?
In the entire country, around 29 percent of households were connected to electricity. In 2018, Tanzania was among the 15 countries with the biggest share of population with low access to electricity (36 percent), while the global average was 90 percent.30 Jan 2024"

" How many Nigerians are without electricity?
However, a substantial portion of the world population still face challenges in obtaining reliable and affordable electricity. β€œHere in Nigeria it is estimated that a whopping 92 million people are still suffering from energy poverty, which is over 40 per cent of our estimated population,” the minister stated.3 Mar 2024"

Did you read the part where they said this is the first, last paragraph

"It is the first time Tanzania, which suffers chronic power shortages, has closed hydroelectric stations as a result of excess production."

Meaning, there is now excess production

Many people will not read the write up.

The write up says Tanzania still suffers chronic power shortage.

They said there are low demand and also cited that one of the plants is powering major cities already

Ebibedike1:
petrol is selling for over 1k in your area because your petrol has been smuggled across the border. Petrol is less than 700 naira in every other place in Nigeria

Customs are more tougher on smugglers recently, you are right about the smuggling, there are smuggling, but not at the detriment the masses. Last week, everyone was selling until Sunday

I think there is news the price would come down, so they created artificial scarcity so they can rake in enough profit before the drop in price

All these price drops self na just mere speculations
