It's simple. Oil marketers aren't buying much cus Dangote will soon flood the market with supplies at lower rate.

That explains why Dangote cement is flooding the market at lower rate, Dangote go shook una

Nothing ever gets better in Nigeria. Everything gets worse.

Tinubu should have done his research well before announcement of removal of fuel subsidy.

We just have to keep hoping ooooo bro
Politics / Re: Fuel Scarcity Persists In Nigeria Almost One Year After Subsidy Removal by Hier(m): 12:06pm On Apr 26
I really still don't understand the reason for fuel scarcity

In my area, black market is between 1200 and 1500

No filling station is selling, maybe one or two and the queue is always massive

Those selling for 1200, are using 850ml measurements for sales. embarassed embarassed

Foreign Affairs / Re: Tanzania Shuts Down 5 Hydroelectric Stations To Reduce Excess Electricity by Hier(m): 10:32am On Apr 25
tommy589:

They will not read that. No disagreement about disappointments from our leaders but why hating your country to only stick to read only headlines

This is what I found and copied from Google

"How many people in Tanzania don't have electricity?
In the entire country, around 29 percent of households were connected to electricity. In 2018, Tanzania was among the 15 countries with the biggest share of population with low access to electricity (36 percent), while the global average was 90 percent.30 Jan 2024"

" How many Nigerians are without electricity?
However, a substantial portion of the world population still face challenges in obtaining reliable and affordable electricity. β€œHere in Nigeria it is estimated that a whopping 92 million people are still suffering from energy poverty, which is over 40 per cent of our estimated population,” the minister stated.3 Mar 2024"

Did you read the part where they said this is the first, last paragraph

"It is the first time Tanzania, which suffers chronic power shortages, has closed hydroelectric stations as a result of excess production."

Meaning, there is now excess production

Many people will not read the write up.

The write up says Tanzania still suffers chronic power shortage.

They said there are low demand and also cited that one of the plants is powering major cities already

petrol is selling for over 1k in your area because your petrol has been smuggled across the border. Petrol is less than 700 naira in every other place in Nigeria

Customs are more tougher on smugglers recently, you are right about the smuggling, there are smuggling, but not at the detriment the masses. Last week, everyone was selling until Sunday

I think there is news the price would come down, so they created artificial scarcity so they can rake in enough profit before the drop in price

All these price drops self na just mere speculations

Politics / What's Fuel Price In Your Area by Hier(m): 8:34pm On Apr 24
This evening, I saw a group of people struggling to get fuel at a location, the location was close to a mosque and many of the guys were Muslims, so somehow, it occurred to me that probably a philanthropist was doling out free fuel, drawing closer, I enquired, "na 1200 dem dey sell am oooooo", omo, people were rushing to buy at 1200(black market) as against 720 I bought on Sunday (pump Price). My house was quiet far, so I started pondering, how much would I get bike was what crossed that evening, not that I could not pay, but the hardship other people would have to go through.

People were going to the next town to get fuel as no filling station is selling

My location is Oyo State, let's know about your area, how much is it sold, cause someone said it will come down to #500 soon, how true is that
Religion / Re: Sallah Celebration: Why Is Moon Always Causing Confusion? by Hier(m): 4:01pm On Apr 09
jeromestarks:
It's not news that "moon" must be sighted before the celebration can hold.
FG would declare a day as the celebration day then BOOM! shift the day simply because the was not sighted.

Why not just fix a day for sallah celebration like other religions do?
Why ?

The Prophets of old told us that God will put His spirit within us and His Spirit will instruct us. Ezekiel 36:27, Is 30:21, Joel 2:28

Jesus said the same too (John 14:26, 16:13)

If any religion comes and believes otherwise, it tell you they don't believe in Jesus and they don't believe in the message of the prophet, cant be any less truer.

You can't claim the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob sent you and your believe is different from the foundation that has been laid by the same prophets and the prophesies that has been foretold by same prophets.

You are either for us or not from us

God is not an author of confusion

I mean drastic drop will make me re-enter the market this week/month.Usually after a my sell off, i wait for a while to re-enter gradually. But i guess i saw one opportunity. There was arbitrage for NETT, Gate was showing 3.2 while netswap was showing 1.7. I converted some of the metis profit, if metis holds arond 120, im sure of *3 from nett. I don't trade often. Just like you, i buy , hols sell gradually. I just monitor some tokens then wait for opportunity. No leverage.

Lol, I noticed I refuted your claim that BTC would go to 32k, like I am seeing something similar on my tradingview
