Daddy Freeze in his usual manner of encouraging his followers to do what the church leaders dissuade them prom doing, has mentioned that taking alcoholic drinks in the club is actually Christ-like.

This is coming after photos of Shina Peller, who is the owner of a popular Night Club in Lagos, surfaced on the internet while helping victims at an accident scene.

Peller as seen siphoning fuel from his car and also allowed the victims to be conveyed to the hospital in his car.

According to Daddy Freeze, the pastors would not do this and he went further to state that the kind gesture displayed by Shina Peller is one reason why guys should visit his club and other clubs in Lagos to spend their money on alcoholic drinks.

He also mentioned that since Jesus mingled with sinners and probably drank in His days on earth, then it is allowed for people to drink as well.

There was an accident along the lagos Ibadan expressway and my good friend from the same hood as I, SHINA was passing by. Not only did he stop to help, he siphoned fuel with his mouth because the ambulance on the scene did not have enough fuel. He also gave one of his vehicles to take the injured to the hospital.

An 18 year old boy, identified as Adeyoju Gbenga, has been apprehended by local authorities in Ogo Oluwa area, Abete in Ikere-Ekiti, Ekiti state, after he reportedly defiled a 3 year old girl inside his room earlier this week.

The Nigeria Broadcasting Commission, (NBC) has placed a Not To Be Broadcast (NTBB) warning on Olamide’s newest single, Science Student.

The warning was sent to all radio and television stations across the country during the week.

The Head of Public Affairs for the Commission, Hajia Maimuna Jimada confirmed the NBC’s stand on the now raving song on Wednesday, told Tribune that while the regulatory body did not ban the song outrightly, it considered it unfit for broadcast.

“NBC does not ban music. Our mandate is on what goes on Radio and TV. Olamide’s Science Student has been declared ‘Unfit for broadcast,” she said.

She added that the song’s subtle promotion of illegal drugs was the main reason why it was deemed unlawful. Jimada also issued a standing warning to all broadcasting corporations.

“We have communicated all our licensees for compliance or they will face sanctions,” she said.

Olamide himself has come out to say that the song is actually against drug use.

The Lagos state police command have arrested a 27-year Uber driver, Collins Okafor, for allegedly conniving with his friends to snatch the car of another Uber driver in Lagos.

Okafor was arrested along with Ibrahim Tijani (aged 31), Sadiq Oyenuga (aged 34), Ayoage Agoke (aged 25) and John Okpe (aged 26). 

The New Telegraph reports that another suspect, Michael currently at large, had asked his girlfriend simply identified as Joy to book an Uber taxi online on January 19th. Michael and his gang members later snatched the car at gunpoint from the driver who immediately reported the stolen vehicle at Maroko Police Station. Policemen went after the fleeing robbers and recovered the car and arested the suspects.

One of the robbers, Okafor, who is also an Uber driver, had masterminded the operation. Speaking to newsmen, Okafor said

''The car I drive was given to me by someone. One day the owner threatened to collect his car because I defaulted in payment. In order to remain in business, I contracted my friends to assist me to snatch a car from another Uber driver. I promised to pay them as soon as I started making money using the vehicle as a driver. When I told my friends about the plan, they accepted. I didn’t know when and how to go about the operation. On the fateful day they wanted to snatch the car, Michael called me to come. He said that I should use the car with me to give other gang members a ride. When we got to a particular area in Lekki, Michael’s girlfriend, Joy, went to meet the driver of the car, which she booked online.”

Other gang members joined Joy and soon snatched the car from the bewildered driver and zoomed off.

Another suspect, Agoke, said:

“Before we departed from Michael’s house, some of us were asked to sit in Collins’ car. Soon, Michael’s girlfriend went to the Uber driver, which she booked online. Others followed and they brought out a gun and collected the car from the driver. I was assigned to drive the stolen car. We took the car to Collins’ compound. Collins promised to give me money, but didn’t mention the amount. What he told us was that his boss wanted to collect the car he was using for business; therefore, he needed another car, which was why he ran to us to assist him. He said that he didn’t have money to buy a car.”

Agoke, however, added that he was arrested after the stolen car was tracked to Okafor’s compound. Stating his own side of the story, Oyenuga explained that he was arrested by the police who thought that Michael was with him. He said

“I was at home when the policemen came to arrest me. I was asked to take them to Michael’s house. When we got there, we didn’t find him, but his elder brother was arrested and taken to the command. I don’t know anything about armed robbery.” Okpe, another alleged member, explained that he was with Okafor in his car and that they were going to the club, but along the way, things took a different turn. He said: “I was inside Collins’ car.

The suspects according to the police will be arraigned in court soon

A Nigerian man suffered severe injury after he had his lips beaten off as he tried to defend his girlfriend from an abuser.

The Facebook user, Segun Rick Mill says he was defending his girlfriend from a tout known as Abayomi a.k.a Street, when he got the injury.

Acoording to him, Abayomi was always calling his girlfriend names. So on that "fateful day" he decided to defend her, but Abayomi attacked him, bit off his lips and ran away.

He shared photos and videos of his lips bleeding with a part of it hanging out. He also shared photos of the abuser and asked that he be reported to the police if anyone sees him.

The Pastor of This Present House, Tony Rapu, rescued shanawole from the streets during a “God Bless Nigeria/Freedom Foundation rehabilitation mission.”

The 11-year-old boy who says he belongs to Eiye confraternity and smokes marijuana well – revealed that if anyone messes with him or his group, it’s his job to kill the person/hack the person down. He also said that if anyone tries to fight them, he and his boys will hit the person very hard.

The young boy who also claimed to be robber – was taken off the streets and underwent rehabilitation.
