My Experience Buying a Car from Lade007 So, here goes my experience buying a car from a Nairalander Lade007 in May. I saw Lade's post about buying cars from Germany—same as anyone else – I never knew or had any contact with him before now. I beeped him via WhatsApp telling him about my interest in a Peugeot 407 or Passat CC. I told him my preferred specs and he gave me a price range. He, however, surprised me by giving me a number of German auto websites where I could search for cars – in case I could find a better deal. Check 1- giving me the auto sites means I could see the ACTUAL cost price of any car I wanted to buy without any markup – A couple of weeks later, I found one sweet Peugeot 607 with my preferred specs. I contacted him and he told me he'll get started on it the next day. The next day, I was at work when Lade's call came in. He was calling to tell me that he had already driven to where the car was in another city and he wanted to send me fresh pictures via WhatsApp. He sent in the pictures showing all the parts of the car –interior and exterior. He even called my attention to an error message on the MFD. I told him to make some other checks and he carried out all the checks. He also renegotiated the asking price and a 100 EUR discount on the car. He then told me that if I was good with the car, I should send an advance and he'll get the car started on its way to Nigeria. Check 2—Lade was diligent enough to find out everything about the car for me just as if he was buying the car for himself, a friend, or a family member. He also got me the best price possible. He loaded the car up on a flatbed truck, I was getting picture updates and WhatsApp messages until the car reached the port in Hamburg. The car came in with a full-size extra tire and additional four sizes 17" winter tires. The car shipped a couple of days later and Lade kept me in the loop until the ship berthed a couple of weeks later. He also gave me the option of clearing it myself or through my agent, but I choose to clear it through his agent. The car was cleared in 3 days (took that long because of port wahala) and it was on its way to me in no time. When the car was eventually delivered, I told Lade to get a new phone because the car looked astonishingly better in real life than in pictures. I paid up the balance on the car and I got the car in great shape with ALL accessories (foot mat, battery, extra tires, jack, car cover, and manual) intact. If you are still skeptical about buying a car from Lade007, you are missing a potentially great deal that comes with unmistakable peace of mind. I wholeheartedly recommend Lade007, you ain't gonna regret buying a car from him. This ain't no paid review and I can supply you with pictures if you need more proof. I know that this post is long, but Lade deserves all the accolades he can get and more for the quality of his service. Drive with Pride! 4 Likes |

Car Talk / Re: Vehicle Particulars Renewal – Online Made Easy – 24 Hours –free Delivery @carreg by Innovictor: 9:42am On May 17, 2017 |
I contacted CarReg to help me with the registration of a tokunbo car. Mr. Juwon responded quickly and explained the process. I stay in Ogbomoso, so I was worried about sending the custom papers and the photocopy of my driver's license -- he suggested I scan and send the docs via email or I should snap them with my phone camera and send to him via WhatsApp. He promised that the car papers will be ready within 24-48 hours. So I transferred 20k into his corporate account as part payment -- I haven't met him until this point but his professionalism on phone makes it easy to trust him. He also sent me invoices via email to acknowledge the receipt of payments. Barely 24 hours later, I got text messages from the Insurance firm noting the purchase of a third party insurance. A few hours later, Mr. Juwon called me that the car registration papers were ready. The whole process took less than 48 hours. When I eventually met Mr. Juwon, he showed a great deal of impressive customer service wanting to know if I was satisfied with all the papers. There was a slight mistake on my address, and he took it back to correct it in less than 12 hours. All in all, I am impressed with the quality of his service and I wholeheartedly recommend CarReG to anyone who needs a professional and fast car registration/renewal service. This ain't no paid review. I'll gladly supply emails, texts, or pictures of my car if you need proof. 1 Like |

Education / DSS Storms Calabar School, Flogs Teachers In Front Of Students by Innovictor: 12:19pm On Feb 03, 2017 |
Six teachers at the Federal Government Girls College in Calabar on Thursday alleged that they were beaten in the presence of pupils by operatives of the Department of State Services, Cross River State Command. dss 5.jpg They alleged that the armed security officials stormed the school premises at about 10am on the invitation of a female DSS official who had come to beat up a teacher for flogging her daughter. One of the teachers, Mr. Owai Owai, said he was flogged in front of his pupils by the DSS woman and her husband. Other teachers, who claimed to have been beaten up when the school later became flooded with DSS officials, identified themselves simply as Ndarake, Inyang, Udoh, Agba, Njor and the college’s Chief Security Officer, John Ikpeme. A security official, identified as James, said the DSS officials who stormed the school in three vehicles, shot repeatedly into the air before they forcefully gained entrance. However, the state Director of DSS, Mr. Fubara Duke, said the matter was a case of mistaken identity. Owai, who teaches Civic Education in the senior class, said trouble started when he flogged some pupils for failing to sweep their classroom. He said, “I was about to teach when I noticed some junior pupils sweeping the classroom of the senior pupils. I learnt that the senior pupils had imposed it on them. It was a wrong precedent because all the pupils had been told to sweep their respective classes. “I punished the senior pupils who ordered the junior ones to sweep. I gave each of them two strokes of the cane on their palm and one of them challenged me for flogging her. Before I knew what was happening, she telephoned her mother, whom I later learnt was a DSS official. The mother came to the school with her husband and they started beating me. “They used my own cane to flog me in the presence of the pupils. My fellow teachers came in to stop them, but they were rebuffed. Later, the DSS woman called her colleagues for reinforcement and that was how the school became flooded with DSS officials. They started beating teachers who ran into them.” Another teacher, Amos Princewill, said the DSS officials took away two mobile phones, a binocular and N80,000 belonging to his colleagues who were molested. Politics / Lai Mohammed - Nigerians Are Already Seeing The Change We Promised by Innovictor: 12:48pm On Feb 02, 2017 |
Nigeria’s minister of information, culture and tourism Lai Mohammed said that the 'change' promise of the ruling party has started manifesting. Lai Mohammed made the claim during an interview session with SUN NEWSPAPER. He said, “Let’s look at it, number one, we promised change and that change has come. There is change today from impunity to accountability and it means a lot. There is a change today from corruption to integrity, it means a lot. “There is a change today in the way people view corruption than the way they use to view it before. You will never live your flamboyant lifestyle again. In 2014 or thereabout when the former President went to Kenya, there were about 100 private jets that went with him.” ''What we did not know was the level of dirt and rottenness, the level of dirt and corruption is what we did not get. We knew things were bad but we did not know things were these bad. We did not know before we came in that there was no savings at all, we did not know before we came in, the madness and scale of indiscipline and impunity. “ So if anybody says we are overwhelmed, yes we are overwhelmed but not by the work but by the level of rottenness and we want to clean this rottenness and this is what we have been doing. It doesn’t matter what vision you have but if you don’t have the money to execute it is as if you are doing nothing,” he said. Foreign Affairs / ISIS Bans Burka In Iraq, Claims Hijab Is A Security Threat by Innovictor: 3:26pm On Sep 06, 2016 |
The Islamic State group has reportedly banned women from wearing a burka, a veil that covers the entire face, as a security precaution in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul. The alleged new rule is striking in part because the militant group also known as ISIS has beaten and killed women in the past for refusing to wear the the burka and hijab Militant leaders banned burqas after a group of veiled women carried out attacks against several ISIS commanders, according to media reports Tuesday. Women wearing burqas will no longer be allowed to enter buildings in Mosul, an ISIS stronghold, while wearing the full-body covering. Instead, they must wear gloves and gauze to cover their eyes. ISIS' morality police will continue to require women to wear the burqa outside of Mosul's new security rule, the Jerusalem Post reported. http://www.ibtimes.com/isis-bans-burqas-islamic-state-deems-hijab-security-problem-iraq-2411854 |

I read this comment on by a commentator named Romberg on a Sahara Reporter Article. Interesting comment if you ask me. Link to the said article and comment below http://saharareporters.com/2016/05/13/buhari-bows-imf-pressure-devalue-naira-290-dollar #Start Quote It is getting more interesting than I thought. Just within the last 7 days: - we heard how Buhari's daughter attends a UK Uni, flew on first class though public officers were forbidden from doing same. When will this man fix Nigeria's education problems? - Chief Lie borrowed nearly N14m for a trip to China, perhaps to design his masquerade gears, each of which he claimed will create 1000 jobs. He is yet to tell the world where on the planet a masquerade once created 1 professional job. He simply has no word or a sense of accountability to Nigerians regarding this hogwash. I saw in the news today an article credited to this demon regarding a bogus 200,000 jobs created somewhere in the blues. - without preparing the nation, fuel price was increased 70%. This is the same deregulation they refused during the last administration. - David Cameron said Nigeria is fantastically corrupt, one of the worst country in the world. In my terms, it's like calling someone a bastard. Buhari says he is not bothered as long as UK returns Nigeria's stolen asset. Like they did with Benin artefacts!? The Queen only said a Chinese envoy was rude... She has been barred from China! - The other time, we were told Buhari went to China to borrow enough money to finance the budget deficit. They returned to tell the world that the trip was a huge success. Today it's another request for loan from the IMF (to finance the same deficit they have successfully financed from China?). - dollar is now 290 Naira. Devaluation, deregulation, diversification, debt...all at the same time. What exactly is the plan of this government? The same government that surreptitiously issued a statement about unpacking the NNPC even without thinking about the legislative ramifications of such views. Next week, Buhari will clock one year as the president of Nigeria. I am still wondering how he will convince Nigeria on his achievements. Jobs? Energy? Transport? Commerce? Corruption? To his followers, Diezeani and Dasuki and Saraki are everything that is wrong with Nigeria! Anything like an holistic approach to fight corruption? I just hope Nigeria's sad news will stop at some point. Perhaps, now? #End Quote |

Business / How To Write A Business Plan In 7 Simple Steps by Innovictor: 1:08pm On Apr 08, 2016 |
One of the fastest routes to making money is to own a business but the smartest way to build a business is to start with a business plan. You probably know already that it is important for you to become your own boss and own a business. It is not very easy to become your own boss (bankers could find it very hard to own a bank); yet, nothing stops you from having a side business where you are the boss. However, many people are overwhelmed by the idea of writing a business plan, probably because they’ve seen voluminous samples/copies of business plans. A business plan could be long or short depending on your needs per time. You can have a long version with full details and a compressed shorter version that you can quickly glance through in less than 5 minutes. Investment / Top 3 Money Mistakes Men Make And How To Avoid Them by Innovictor: 1:01pm On Apr 06, 2016 |
Some men are good with money and the fact that you are reading this piece suggests that you are one of the few men taking conscious steps towards maintaining healthy finances. However, most men are not so good with money, not because we want to be financially irresponsible but because of some of the habits that we have consciously and unconsciously picked up over the years. Interestingly, even if you could cross most of the “Ts” and dot most of “I” in a financial checklist, you’ll have had an instance when you discovered that the your account balance won’t be enough to take you through the rest of the month. If you have ever felt helpless when a financial need was thrust open you; I can bet that you are probably making one of the mistakes on this list. 1. Not Using a Scale of Preference 2. Hello Folks. This is my very first post on this platform. I hope I am posting this on the right board. Today, I want to tell you about 7 ways to make money online. These have nothing to do with all paid surveys, MLM marketing, and those sleazy folks telling you about a $49.99 system for making money online. Making money is important because money provides answers to most (read all)things. Of course, money won’t buy you happiness but it can make you comfortable in misery. Most of our daily hustle are born out of the need to make money. We go to school and strive to get the best grades so that we can get good (read high-paying) jobs. We work hard at our jobs so that we can be justified to receive a salary at the end of the month and hopefully get the eye of the boss to attract a raise. 1. TEACH ENGLISH ON ITALKI.COM 2.
