Please I want to ask something
How was living in Ukraine like before the war, were their citizens nice?

U can't generalize , everyone has his or her own way of behavior, in Nigeria some people are good to you while others are not . Some will say Ukraine is good some will say otherwise. In my opinion all white country without a majority of blacks will definitely have racist behavior. Even ones with huge number of blacks like USA still have racists.

Babanla2356:
Hello everyone, I am a Nigerian who was studying in Ukraine before the war broke out. I left Nigeria on the 5th of January 2022 and I applied for my temporary residence permit (povidska) in Ukraine before the war started in which the immigration authority gave me a proof that I applied. So after the invasion I left Ukraine and headed to Germany when I arrived in Germany I contacted the immigration authority and tell them about my case that I am a Nigerian national studying in Ukraine I submitted all the Ukrainian documents I have with me and applied for a residence permit after a month I got a response from them that my application has been accepted and I should come to their office, when I got there I was issued a fictional certificate (Fiktionbeschenigung) which was only valid for 6 months. After then the district started paying for my house rents, health insurance, enrolled me in a language school and I was receiving social benefits.
A month before my fictional certificate expires I received a letter from the foreign authority that I should go back to Nigeria that longer protection is only for Ukrainian citizens that Nigeria is a safe country. I told them that I would like to continue my studies in Germany and I send them the paperworks of the language school I’m currently attending and they still insisted that is not a proof not to go back to Nigeria and they rejected my residence permit application, they stopped all the social benefits I was receiving and they gave me a month to appeal the decision at the court which I did. Learning the language was so easy for me because I attend the school everyday and I will get my B1 certificate this July and I also have an apprenticeship position right now as a Plant mechanic for heating and plumbing and I have received the apprenticeship contract. I sent the contract to the foreign authority they still said no that I have to return to Nigeria and I apply for an apprenticeship visa in Nigeria but the case is still at the court but I don’t know when the court is gonna decide because it’s getting late, the apprenticeship starts in August. I wanna ask if there is anyone that has been in this situation before or any Nigerians here living in Germany that know how the system works that can advice me on what to do.

Please move it to Front page

What city in Germany are you in? Don't listen to those asking you come back. You will never get German visa if you go back .. let me know your city before I advice you.

You say wetin grin grin grin

Nothing you Sabi grin

Distance from Donbas to Izium is 188km which is 116 miles. Ukrainian ground firepower does not cover such distance. ode grin cheesy

From Izium town to Barvinkove by road na 40km, to Sloviansk 50km talkless of Southern Izium where Russian forces concentrate that's 2/3(12km) of the distance

Barvinkove-Sloviansk-Kramatorsk where Ukrainian forces concentrate south of izium is within 5-10 km of contact with Russian forces advancing from Izium
Even Ukrainian forces at Lisichansk are within 40km operational range with Russian forces from Izium

Kharkiv to Izium who tell you say they can hit Izium from Kharkiv that's over 120km. Na missiles dem wan use.

You dey reason like toddler....Izium town is 120km from Kharkiv which is out of operational range of most Artillery fire

You're just plain stupid

Don't be ignorant and brash as well.... Izyum is inside kharkiv oblast..... It musnt be from kharkiv city you will attack , their are other villages and settlement in Ukrainian army's control close to izyum....

Foreign Affairs / Suspected Arms Depot In Western Russia Destroyed By Ukrainian Missile by ishiamu(m): 5:24pm On Mar 30, 2022
The Ukrainian military has begun to take the fight to Russian territory, a new development in what has been a primarily defensive war for the country.

Russian authorities were forced to place two villages under emergency orders and evacuate some citizens due to Ukrainian shelling in the area, according to reports from multiple Russian media outlets.

RIA Novosti, a Russian government-controlled publication, reported Tuesday that an explosion near the village of Zhuravlyovka injured four people. The outlet reported that the source of the explosion was an attack that originated from within Ukraine.

Interfax, another Kremlin-friendly publication, reported that Zhuravlyovka and the nearby town of Niekhoteyevka were placed under emergency orders, and roughly 180 people were evacuated to the city of Belgorod as the result of an explosion at an ammunition depot.

Interfax did not pin blame for the explosion on Ukraine, but it did note that authorities believe it was not an accident.

Fox News cannot independently verify the reported attack, though reports of the attack, an apparent setback for Russia, and Ukraine's involvement originated from Russian state-run outlets.

The reports come as the Russian military has begun to redeploy some forces that have been encircling the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv, though Pentagon press secretary John Kirby cautioned Tuesday that the movements were more of a repositioning than a retreat by Russian forces.

Kirby said that the Russian military has failed to take Kyiv and most Ukrainian population centers, something he said was a Russian military objective since the onset of the invasion.

The reported Ukrainian attacks on Russian soil also come amid the backdrop of peace talks currently taking place in Turkey, with Russia claiming it is committing to easing attacks as Ukraine pushed for a settlement to the war that would include military neutrality in exchange for full membership in the European Union.

But some experts remain skeptical of the peace negotiations, with author and former DIA intelligence officer Rebekah Koffler telling Fox News Digital Tuesday that Ukrainian demands are likely a non-starter for Russia.

"Regretfully, this negotiation is another tactic by Putin to buy time to regroup and cause confusion among European and U.S. leaders and, most importantly, our intelligence services," Koffler said.

Foreign Affairs / Talks Between Zelensky, Putin May Take Place In Coming Days - Podoliak by ishiamu(m): 6:14pm On Mar 16, 2022
Direct talks between the presidents of Ukraine and Russia on a ceasefire may take place in the next few days.

According to Ukrinform, Mykhailo Podoliak, an adviser to the head of the Ukrainian President's Office, said this in an interview with American public broadcaster PBS.

"The only option to end this war is direct talks between the two presidents, and that is what we are working on with these peace talks. We are working on documents that the presidents will be able to discuss further and sign," he said.

According to Podoliak, this will happen soon, "because this is the only way to end this war."

"We have much confidence that we will have a ceasefire in the coming days," he added.

The Russians have used all of their resources that they were planning to use in this war, Podoliak said.

"They were planning to move in their troops, capture as much territory as possible in three days, and basically have a blitzkrieg. They did not do that, and they will not do that. They are stuck fighting in their current positions, and they have no chances whatsoever to move further into Ukrainian territory," Podoliak added.

Initially, Russia issued ultimatums, hoping that the propaganda and disinformation they had been using for eight years would work, but this did not happen, Podoliak added.

"So, this has been a wakeup call for them, and their position has softened significantly," he said.

The war with Russian invaders has been going on in Ukraine since February 24.

Between February 24 and March 16, Russian troops lost 430 tanks, 1,375 armored fighting vehicles, 190 artillery systems, 70 multiple launch rocket systems, 43 air defense systems, 84 aircraft, 108 helicopters, 819 vehicles, three ships/boats, 60 fuel tankers, 11 tactical UAVs, and ten special vehicles.

Can you actually read and comprehend what you read? Is education in Ukraine also failing you?

1. Russia invasion is a hoax by the media then the next line you acknowledged that Russian isles invade for some uncleared reasons?

2. That I’m comparing Nigeria to Ukraine even after reading where I stated the opposite?

The Russian invasion am talking about is the one being reported of recent that Russia wants to invade Ukraine don't get me wrong. Am not even in Ukraine neither am I student am telling you fact....

I’m not comparing Ukraine to Nigeria, whether Ukraine is better than Nigeria is a completely different issue.

My point is.. don’t just waste money leaving Nigeria to a country that has little or nothing to offer you. Nobody leaves Nigeria because of good road and steady power supply, you can get that in Abuja and many other cities in Nigeria, you leave to a country that offers you a better chance in life, earn decent living without doing illegal jobs, friendly immigration policies etc

Ukraine will not even allow foreign students to work legally. Many Nigerians living there are desperate to move to another country.

Lastly I think it’s madness to pay $$$$$ for so called visa guarantee even when you are not sure of getting that visa .

Such a fat lie at the bolded.... They allow you work but finding the job for yourself can be tedious....

Nigerians trying to move are the once that came without being prepared properly... Make your deep research before coming....

You are not making any sense, Crimea and Donbass are part of Ukraine taken over by Russia and you are here trying to rewrite the history.

Russia is currently threatening another invasion of Ukraine, just the fear of US and western reaction is holding Russia back, that is worst than what Boko haram is doing. Basically Ukraine has no power over some part of her country.

No part of Nigeria is taken over by another country, not even Bakassi.

What you don't know try to learn.... Read about history of crimea ... All this Russian invasion is a hoax by western media... Russia does this all year it's not the first or last... They just want to draw the world attention and they will end up negotiating and Nord stream 2 will be approved.... And all is settled... Russia is doing same thing usa did when Russia tried to put it weapon in Cuba... Usa went berserk and negotiated now usa is pushing Ukraine so they join NATO so usa can out weapons that can cause problem for Russia.. but at the end the media makes Russia look like the bad guy... Russia is after fair world... How many times has Russia invaded a country with no justified cause? But usa always does that and they are the good guys... Dude Ukraine is very and 100% better than Nigeria... Stop sitting behind keyboard and type what you read... Basic life is respected unlike In Nigeria police harras citizens unjustly agencies don't work, fake drugs are sold , dirty water , mosquito and open gutters everywhere to say a little.. please just don't make stupid comparison...

Russia seized and annexed the southern Crimean peninsula then Russian-backed separatists swathes Ukraine's two eastern regions known as the Donbas in 2014, Fact. We are watched the whole event live for months.

Crimea is majority Russian speakers and they conducted referendum and decided to join Russia, this is just about the west and Russia war games and it's been long this happened as for the Donbass area is just Russia causing unrest there so that Ukraine won't join NATO as NATO states that they won't accept a country that has internal security issues... Aside that other parts of Ukraine are doing good no issue.. business is going well.. dont use it to judge beside they don't do suicide bombing or kidnap like boko Haram and bandits...so it's a wrong comparison with Nigerian situation.
