Obidients, there is an ongoing state sponsored massive media campaign to malign the image of Peter Obi, spread lies and propaganda against him, discredit his philanthropic gestures. Rubbish his political fence mending/realigning that is currently going on around the country, especially in the North.
Reno Omokri, Daniel Bwala and others were heavily paid and contracted for this injurious campaign against Peter Obi. The coming days will see more lies and propaganda from these folks.

We must either counter them with verifiable facts, in order to beat them in their own game, or we totally ignore them, in order not to give them oxygen to breath. Their lies and propaganda will die off, if we ignore them, without giving them the expected online engagement.

In as much as your assertions may not be completely wrong, but there more enlightened North people now than those foolish ideology. Look at what happened in the last election. They say Peter Obi will not see one vote in the north, but the results showed he won't a lot of northern states not even imaginable before the election. The electoral act of real-time and BVAS were actually followed you will have a second thought.

Since he left office as Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, has been hiding inside the Governor’s lodge, Kogi Government House, Lokoja, fearing arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
Bello, who prides himself as the youngest Governor, looted Kogi state. According to the EFCC, the “White Lion” stole over N80billion from state coffers within the period he was governor between 2016-2024.
As soon as Usman Ododo who succeeded was sworn in, Bello started fearing his own shadows. He has lost immunity, he knows he looted. And he knows the EFCC and others would come knocking on his doors.
The crafty, once boastful and arrogant politician took refuge in Kogi Government House, moving around daily with Ododo, another crook bent on protecting Bello.
Bello, during the Sallah break had sneaked into Lagos with Ododo to pay homage to Bola Tinubu who was holidaying. The visit was primarily to secure the assurances of the President that the EFCC would give him some peace and let him be. They laughed and joked with the President in a manner that gave him confidence he would remain untouchable.
As soon as Bello returned to Abuja with his Governor who had become his shield, he felt the Lagos visit has given him enough assurance to walk about free. He checked into his house located at Benghazi Street, Wuse Zone 4, retuning back to normal life.
Unknown to Bello, Tinubu had not reached out to the EFCC on his matter. In fact, the President is not interested in shielding Bello. As far as the Presidency is concerned, Bello, like Ganduje, have no political benefit to a Tinubu’s 2027 permutations.
So, as Bello was waiting for his breakfast this morning, operatives from the EFCC, who had visited his home 48hrs ago to be sure he is back, pounced on his gate, demanding the gate be opened.
Upon seeing the EFCC operatives, Bello reached out to his phone calling Tinubu. He didn’t get an answer. He called Tinubu’s ADC, didn’t get an answer, called several officials in the Presidency, no answer. Before then, he had called Ododo to come to his rescue.
Bello’s fate is now hanging. Those he had hoped to shield him or give him cover, have now dashed his hopes. It is now a hopeless hope for a man who ruined Kogi, pauperized civil servants by owing them years of unpaid salaries, looted the state with impunity and murdered several of his citizens. Let Bello face the laws. It is time for Bello’s Bell to ring him to jail!

Meet Nigerian scientist, Robert Okojie, with inventions helping NASA spacecraft in extreme environments

A United States-based Nigerian scholar, Dr Robert Sola Okojie, has been inducted into the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Inventors Hall of Fame for his incredible 21 patented inventions.

Okojie has worked with NASA, a US government agency that is responsible for science and technology related to air and space, for over 20 years.

He developed silicon carbide-based microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) which are used in extreme environments.

With his years with NASA, Okojie has been recognised as the leading expert in designing the world’s first thermally stable ohmic contact metallisation on silicon carbide at record-breaking temperatures for extended periods.

His research works helped in paving for high-temperature sensors and electronics at extreme atmospheres that can substantially improve safety and efficiency, as well as directly impact the air quality around airports.

The scholar developed the first accelerated stress test protocol published in the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) International Reliability Physics Symposium.

Okojie was born in Barkin-Ladi, Plateau State, Nigeria, to Prince Francis A. Okojie and Juliana Omakhamen Okojie (née Odigie), from the royal family of King Ogbidi Okojie (1857-1944) of Uromi who was a ruler of the Esan people in what is now Edo State, Nigeria

He had his secondary school education at Ibadan Boys’ High School in Oyo State, Nigeria, and travelled to the US to attend college in 1986.

He attended the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark, where he obtained his bachelor’s (1991) and master’s (1993) in electrical engineering respectively. He further earned his PhD in 1996.

Okojie joined the silicon carbide research group at NASA’s Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio, US in 1999.

For his sterling space-related achievements, Okojie has received accolades, including the NASA Abe Silverstein Medal for Research in 2009 and the Glenn Research Distinguished Publication Award in 2012.

He also bagged the Scientist of the Year by the National Technical Association for advancing the state-of-the-art of MEMS for use in harsh environments and, in 2007 was a recipient of the Cleveland Executive Board Wings of Excellence award.

Okojie’s induction into the NASA Inventors Hall of Fame on November 22, 2020, made him the 35th recipient of the prestigious honour and the fourth Black -African to be inducted.

With Okojie’s world-class recognition at NASA, it is pertinent to say that Nigerians are blazing the trail in contributing to the advancement of the digital age with their inventions.

Many Nigerians have become global renowned inventors and one of them is Cyprian Emeka Uzoh, with more than 350 patents including developing microprocessors and memory chips in dancing robots.

The United States-based Nigerian tech genius Uzoh is said to have revolutionised the technology world with his jaw-dropping inventions, with his notable inventions in the iPhones.

According to Prime Business Africa, Uzoh has more than 350 patents to his credit gazette in the US’ records of “Prolific Inventors” between 1978 and 2021.

As a genius in computing, he contributed to the development of the Copper Interconnect used by the microprocessors and the memory chips of the dancing robot.

He is the father-in-law of a US-based Ugandan Apple app inventor, Dr Jeofery Kibuule, and has co-written more than 40 publications.

Uzoh has the traditional title of Ichie by His Royal Majesty Gerald Obunadike Mbamalu of Ojoto in Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State.

The title ‘Ichie Ife-ghelu na Ojoto’, literally means Ichie Uzoh has brought light to Ojoto through his prodigious achievements in the world of Science.

He attended Ebenezer Primary School at Salvation Army Road in Ibadan, Oyo State but completed his primary education at St. Peter Clavers in Nnewi, Anambra State.

For his secondary education, he went to Christ the King College, Onitsha. Then, he was offered a scholarship by the Federal Ministry of Education in 1974 to study Metallurgy outside the country.

He studied engineering at the University of Wisconsin, USA, where he said he helped his professors – Richard Heine and Carl Loper – in the laboratory, grading tests and examinations.

Uzoh also attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, New York, for his graduate education as a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Fellow.
