Mami Chula is a much bigger resort, Landmark is like a mushroom business in comparison to Mami Chula yet Mr Ariyo is not blackmailing the federal government. The most worrying thing is that the victim mentality is eating deep into their younger generation.
And I'm just hearing of Mami Chula meanwhile I've been hearing of Landmark long before this demolition. How can a business be so big and unsung? Is there something I'm missing here.
Romance / Re: Women Are Lesbians By Default Settings by lacasera14(m): 10:21am On May 02
The op is partially correct. In female hostels 90% of girls roam around naked and sleep naked. In my years in the boys hostel I've never met any guy naked before or even seen another man's junk unless in the bathroom which is inevitable. Women are more comfortable in each other's body which makes it easier for them to practice lesbianism. But a guy will puke at another man's junk or avoid any form of intimate contact.

No woman likes an overly nice Guy. No lady likes a good guy, you must possess a bit of bad boy vibes in you.

You must always smack her ass
Be a bit flirtatious
make her a bit jealous
Once in awhile make her cry, apologize, the apology must be in the bedroom and make sure it leads to love mak*ing. There's nothing as sweet as make up s*x.
That's not the kind of nice being talked about here. You're talking about bad not nice.

Defamation and cyberstalking are serious offenses. Accepting apologies alone may not suffice. Prosecution in accordance with the law is necessary to deter others from similar actions. Justice must be served to uphold the integrity of the law and protect individuals from unwarranted attacks on social media.
Go and prosecute them yourself if Nat Basset forgives them. And who told you it will deter further defamations. Is it today we started hearing about lawsuits? In the end nothing will come out they settle out of court.

I have about 10 friends who moved to the UK and I can bet you that if I call all 10 of them saying I'm stranded and I need bail out funds of 100k only one or two can help me with 10 or 20k. The rest will give me a thousand reasons. Meanwhile, in Nigeria here, I know many who dole that out without sweating. I also know of some friends in war thorn Ukraine and Turkey that can comfortably send the money. But these ones in UK will be using play to send their account number to you. I might have to agree with the OP on this.

Just stfu!

If you are in the UK with your full rights to work and live, you will alwsys pity those in Nigeria.

How can a place where health care is free, salary is paid promptly, food is affordable, steady electricity, good road and transport network... Be miserable?

Just a pound coin is N1600 and I can visit naija with just my I month salary and live in naija for months with it without working...

You guys are deluded
With your one month salary now you can't visit Nigeria because flight ticket is almost 4 million. Plus your rent, water, gas, electricity, and other taxes inside that same one month. Unless you're a squatter that's why your mouth is running.

Nigeria is 10 times the size of UK in population. So that stat maybe right.

PS712:

Can we rest already! Scrutinize, constructively criticize, but don't end up derailing the thread or slowing down its progress simply for reasons best known to you. There is a level of insecurity everywhere in the world, that's true. But you can't compare security in Nigeria and that of Australia, going as far as stating that you know "big men" in Nigeria who have security because they go about with security men, like seriously?
He stated that he was a boss (in his own right) and you say he wasn't "boss" enough that's why? In Nigeria about 2 weeks ago military men (including exalted ranking officer, Lt. Col.) were killed..., a Brig. Gen. was killed some time ago in Borno, not to mention several others, weren't these "bosses" enough? Must it be a governor or Senator? During the Book launch by Femi Adesina, Prof. Osinbajo narrated discussion he had with his boss (former PMB) when he told Buhari he wanted to visit the Niger Delta to find solution to insecurity that caused drop in Crude production, what did he say Buhari told him? That he (Osinbajo) should not make it to the news as first vice president to be kidnapped. That wasn't a joke. That was a president telling his vice that he could be kidnapped and the VP shelved/aborted that mission.
Accepting that things in Nigeria are not the way they should be (and as obtainable in saner climes) is among the first steps to solving our problems.
In your wildest imagination, you think the vice president can be kidnapped in Nigeria? Is that how bad the insecurity is? Or is it the same Nigeria we both in. Don't draw such unserious analogy next time again.

The three months is the shocking part.
If he is correct and truthful, then he had well laid out plans and is lucky.
I am just imagining someone going to a new country and already started doing well at 3months.Shelter,kids already in school, fees settled, got a job already and saving.
Thats quite an enormous achievement
His wife is the pillar. She did all these. He would have been reconsidering his relocation moves if not for her. Lesson, always have someone established there before you proceed.

Gone are the days when migrating to UK is seen as an achievement. Those winter coats, boots, head warmers, long socks, and gloves no longer hold water. They may look classy and fab but that person just finished washing toilets all through the day and is about to do security work at night. Then a manager of Zenith Bank will resign and move to the UK with his family. Succeed in Nigeria and have the money to travel to any country of your choice for vacations. There are some things you'll enjoy in Nigeria that you can never in the west. Choose your tradeoffs wisely.

Actually most of the so called "big men" in Nigeria are only big by mouth. They live in constant fear of kidnappers, they overspend in order to guarantee the so called "big man" life they enjoy.
Most of the stuff that the Nigerian "big man" brags about is being enjoyed and taken for granted by ordinary citizens in the developed countries.

The only real big men in Nigeria are those who are multimillionaires and billionaires in dollars and euros, and those people are very rare. In a country of 200 million plus, those who are multimillionaires and billionaires in dollars and euros cannot be more than 800 people at most.

Chief I get your point. But what are the metrics? Security, power, organized society, crime-free society, just list the metrics and I can tell you for free, the some big men are enjoying it in Nigeria. The mistake you'll make is to think that West is crime free. I know a big man that has never been robbed in his 60yrs in Nigeria. Talk more of kidnapping. Whether you see it or not, there are people living the abroad life in Nigeria.

Most of your big men and politicians in Nigeria have their children schooling here and majority of them have houses here.

There is a reason for that bro.
Yes but they are living the abroad life here in Nigeria. I know some big men in Nigeria who do not lack power, water, good health care assistance, suffer zero traffic, no malaria, no security challenge because they have security, and even more than what you traveled for. So if you traveled because of these things to slump from a manager to a warehouse boy, I think you should have made more money in Nigeria and be traveling abroad for vacations while you send your children there like the big men do. Meanwhile you're saying all these because your wife already made the grounds soft for you. When you start paying all the bills yourself and taking the responsibility your perspective may differ from what it is now. There's always a disadvantage and advantage to everything in life. You only mentioned advantages thanks to your wife. 3 months your eye never clear yet.

Australia really humbled me. Imagine a financial controller in Nigeria now picking and packing cartons in warehouses in Australia.
So you exchanged your big man life in Nigeria for steady power, water, security, no car honks, organized society, and what again? I think you were not big man enough in Nigeria. Because the big men in Nigeria enjoy all those things you traveled out for. Ask them.
