Just imagine earmarking a whopping N37billiion for some phoney "renovation" while the masses die of hunger.

Wicked idiots!

From day one, loudmouth narcissistic Idriss Derby always has always been full of his ego. He has never fully fought alongside any other country's army. He would go alone, suffer losses and whine like a baby. In his reckoning, it is only Chadian soldiers that can effectively defend both Lake Chad area and Sahel Region while other countries's soldiers are mere 'Boys Scout groups'. SMH

Now, let's face it. Idriss Deby's well-armed soldiers swooped on Boko haram terrorists in their camps and bunkers in a surprise attack with the help of Israeli mercenaries and still manage to lose 52 soldiers while according to them 1000 terrorists were killed. However, we only saw pictures of heap of guns allegedly seized but none of the 1000 dead bodies of terrorists killed. Above all, Abubakar Shekau was not killed inspite of having him within reach according to Idriss Deby.

Idriss Derby can only bamboozle emotional Nigerians who are searching for new deity to adulate. The reality remains constant: He tolerated and harboured terrorists camps on Chadian soil against Nigeria before they killed 90 soldiers.
[/s]

So, what exactly is your point?
All of you Buhari/APC supporters attacking Chad's president for decimating Boko Haram are just pained that the man has exposed the insincerity/incompetence of Buhari and Buratai.

Does anyone know if they have started testing people with symptoms who have no travel history and no direct connection to a confirmed case?

A very good question, Seun.

That's what the authorities should be doing now no matter how unpleasant the results could be. This virus obviously has spiraled beyond NCDC's testing scope.

We need to test as many Nigerians as possible, not just lock people in their homes.

Congratulations ma, but I would have been happier if in your times as Finance minister, you initiated diversification of Nigerian economy.

Having studied the terrain in your first stint under Pres. Obasanjo, one had expected concrete action on diversification in your second stint as coordinating minister of cabinet/Finance Minister of Finance under Pres. Jonathan. Things could have been a lot better if you did that but all is now history. You are certainly world famous but you have few legacies at home.

Wishing you all the best, still.

I'm not surprised at your veiled jibe at this vastly-experienced woman, given your political leaning.

You expected her to fully diversify our economy within 5years?

Every economic index during her time as FM/CME portrayed a progression towards economic liberation- increased FDI, Nigeria featuring in the MINT-class economies, highly-rated on JP Morgan's list, a consistent GDP growth, etc but the inordinate quest to return power to the North at all cost fueled by religious/ethnic sentiment eroded everything.

Here we are now all "enjoying" Buhari together.

Sad!

1. He will struggle to sell the house when he eventually gets broke (as they always do) because property tax for a $100m house in the States is close to $900,000 yearly.

2. He will leave behind liability for others to maintain in the coming years due to shame of selling off the house.

The house is not in the States.

Dear members of nairaland,
Permit me to tender some observations I have made in almost all the stories, write-ups, comments and other types of information presentation on this platform (nairaland) involving the present government of this country.

I have noticed that time without number, that most of the times 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, respondents or commentors on issues involving the government or government programs in nairaland are always in support of the government. They will go to a great extent to rubbish any story against the government without minding if its true or false as long as it's not in support of the government.

But as you go further down the comments from other respondents or comments from other people you will start seeing more genuine comments that are more reasonable either in support or against.

This observations have made me believe that people are paid to be here!!

Before nko?

BMC, BMO, BSG and other evil Buhari groups funded from tax-payers' money have their media hirelings in droves here on Nairaland.

Throwback:
Hasn't the aviation minister representing the Federal Government state clearly that Caverton got clearance to operate the flight?

Or was Wike expecting that he should be the one to grant such clearance?

I hope Wike remembers his time as a Federal Minister and how the Federal Government can frustrate a state government like he did to Rotimi Amaechi.

Time for neighboring states to benefit from Caverton's relocation from Rivers.

Which "neighbouring states"? How many of such "states" have big multinational companies in them as Rivers that can afford flying workers up and down in choppers?

We mustn't politicize everything.

Most of these "eBeggars" are not actually hungry. They just feel they have the "right" to enjoy a slice of your resources after perceiving that you may be more comfortable than they are.

You Tinubu praise-singers placing the man on a false pedestal are making more political enemies for him than he can contain.

Your ceaseless canonization of a mere-mortal politician whose influence does not extend beyond Lagos is substantially responsible for the seeming rebellion against him in the APC.

Do a review of the result of every Tinubu's attempt at exerting his "influence" since his foray into national politics...and you'll get your answer.

Your thread topic says "...Adamawa and Nassarawa" but your comment replaces the latter with Taraba.

For Adamawa and Nassarawa, I'd say both Faiths are almost evenly-matched population-wise but Muslims are more politically-predominant.

As for Taraba, it's more or less like Plateau - a Christian-dominated State but with a sizable Muslim population.

God bless His Excellence President Mohammadu Buhari (GCFR)

Giant strides has been accomplished. His administration has been able to steer Nigeria on the right course which was tasking and demanding.

In as much as what still needs to be done is much more than what has been accomplished, the fact that we now can see a light at the end of the tunnel is our present consolation.

Despite the hate and negative criticisms, His leadership has continuously proven to be undeterred in the quest for a better Nigeria.

Today might never appreciate the structures, culture and discipline you instilled, but it's certain that the future will always celebrate it and history will never forget.
