Family / Why The Government Should Review Traditional Marriage Lists by Mophasa(m): 12:46pm On Dec 12, 2022
I’ve been seeing some marriage lists with insane requirements running into millions of naira on the internet lately and there’s something that actually interests me about it.

In the generations of our ancestors when this lists were curated, 99% of the brides then were virgins and have never known any man, in fact it was a taboo traditionally to give out a non virgin wvman as a bide then.

Over the years civilization have changed alot of things where wvmen feel they’re now more powerful and have grown beyond being accountable to their families and can literally do whatever they like with their lives and bodies.

At this point, I think it’s fraudulent for families to keep insisting that non virgin wvmen should keep enjoying the same traditional marriage benefits as older generational virtuous wvmen that kept their virginity for their husbands.

The government and traditional leaders need to look into this critical issues, non virgin wvmen should be given out in marriage for a token or for free, while virgin wvmen should keep enjoying the full traditional marriage rites of previous generations.

These is the only way we can hold our wvmen accountable and also encourage them to become like the biblical virtuous wvmen like Esther and Rebecca.

As a man, I will feel cheated if I have to pay millions of naira to marry a non virgin wvmen, exactly the same amount of money and expenses that my father paid for my mum as a young fresh virgin wvmen in the early 90s.

I know some persons will disagree with me but!

Politics / Why Rivers People Needs Senator Magnus Abe by Mophasa(m): 1:26pm On Nov 08, 2022
The 2023 governorship elections is shaping up to become one of the most important elections in the history of Rivers as its a very defining moment for Rivers people.

Since the emergence of Nyesom Wike as the governor of Rivers state in 2015 majority of Rivers people have been disgruntled with his style of dictatorial leadership and corrupt personality.

Barrister Wike despite his media enhanced white elephant projects in the state have performed poorly in every other aspect of governance ranging from, insecurity, human capacity development to job creation and payments of workers salaries and pensions for retirees.

Wike have been running the state as his personal business, even his commissioners and aides are rumored to be very scared of him.

During the state PDP primary elections, Nyesom Wike decided to anoint an unknown candidate, the accountant general of the state, Mr Siminlayi Fubara who’s currently embroiled in a messy corruption saga with the EFCC.

Many people believe that mr Fubara is a distant cousin of Governor Wike and is only a decoy for him to run for a third term as governor of the state.

But as God may have it, a former Senator and an experienced administrator Senator Magnus Abe have emerged as the candidate of the social Democratic Party (SDP) in the state.

This has given Rivers people a better alternative and a lifeline to vote in a man with humility, compassion and the requisite requirements to bring dividends of democracy to the people of Rivers state.

Senator Abe is a direct opposite of the brash and corrupt Nyesom Wike who have continued to keep Rivers people in perpetual bondage while also trying to foist his protege on the state in order to keep having direct access to the Rivers state treasury.

Amongst the three leading candidates in the state, Senator Abe is miles ahead of other candidates in every aspect and indices of governance , in his campaign manifesto, he has promised Rivers people an inclusive government where everyone will have a sense of belonging in the day to day affairs of the state.

While Sim Fubara of the PDP have been hiding in the state government house to avoid been arrested by the EFCC, Mr Tonye Cole of the APC have been sacked by the federal high court for participating in a fraudulent primary elections.

Senator Magnus Abe with an impressive track record of always putting the people first is a former member of the state house of assembly, a secretary to the Rivers state government (SSG ) as well as a former Senator of the federal republic of Nigeria.

In next year’s governorship elections, Rivers people will make their choice and they are definitely going to choose Senator Magnus Ngei Abe of the social Democratic Party.

Now that I’m over the shame & embarrassment. 2 months back I bought a fake iPhone because I overlooked the red flags and didn’t trust my instinct ‍♂️. A tamagotchi or a USB stick has more processing power than this thing . Watch out for scammers

Made a quick video. It be looks legit, and the scammer gives you a quick articulated demo. It actually has one back camera, the other lenses are fake and glued on. The default apps look legit, but open App Store then you see Chinese and realise it is fake.

Open the music app you will see it doesn’t work. Another tell tale is to open “Find My” and “Google maps” shows up which is incorrect for Apple. It’s actually an Android OS with an interface that looks like an iPhone.

Also check if the emojis look like a kindergarten school project (fake), as another way to check the authenticity of the Apple #iphone. I’m just happy if I can help even one person not to get scammed

Health / My Experience At Save A Life Mission Hospitable Port Harcourt by Mophasa(m): 3:19pm On Sep 14, 2022
MY EXPERIENCE AT SAVE A LIFE MISSION HOSPITAL PORT HARCOURT:

Yesterday I had a rare privilege with some colleagues to take a tour of arguably one of the best medical hospitals in the country, SAVE A LIFE MISSION HOSPITAL Port harcourt.

To say I was impressed is an understatement, we were taken round the world class facility by the Chief Medical Director and a foremost pioneer of good and quality health care in West Africa Dr Richard Okoye .

The hospital is undoubtedly the best in Port harcourt, from the state of arts architectural design of the building to the neatness and cleanliness of the premises, the premium and quality services by staff members, the beautiful wards, beautiful designs and first of its kind health technological products and systems designed personally by Dr Okoye, you would think you are in an American hospital.

Dr Okoye who’s a pioneer and visionary in the healthcare industry is on a mission to eradicate medical tourism in Nigeria and Sub saharan Africa by offering world class health services to Africans and people in the diaspora right here in the garden city of of Port harcourt.

We also had an interesting interactive session with Dr Okoye and we were all imparted with impactful life changing knowledge and motivation.

We also got to learn about robotics surgery that can be done from anywhere across the world, fibroids treatments, kidney transplants, technological dialysis etc which are all conducted at the hospital by world class medical doctors.

Apart from being a very brilliant and successful young medical doctor and health care entrepreneur, Dr Okoye is also a very simple man who believes in young people, He is also very vocal about African youths securing a better future for themselves through self improvement and becoming outstanding in whatever business or career they embark on in life!

And finally if you are not tech savvy please be careful with the restroom at the hospital so You don’t get embarrassed everything is fully automated!

I will be speaking more about my wonderful experience going forward with more photos from my tour.

Before you consider taking them abroad for medical tourism ,Always refer your friends and relations to Save a life mission hospital in Port harcourt.

Music/Radio / The Menace Of Explicit Musical Contents In The Nigerian Music Industry by Mophasa(m): 7:46pm On Jul 25, 2022
Recently Asa was invited to perform for the presidency at the relaunch of the NNPC which was majorly because her music cuts across different generations and social strata.

Unfortunately I don’t think any of the new generation of artists can actually ever get a Presidential gig With the type of music they make, the likes of Rema and Omah lay makes music for just the Gen Z, the older generation can’t really relate with their music.

OGs like 2baba, Dbanj, 9ice etc made music that everyone one can relate to, old or young , Christian or Muslim.

My parents Knew about 2baba and Dbanj but I doubt if the older generation knows about Rema or Omah lay because they can’t Bleep with their music.

You can’t just be singing about girls, sex and big bum bum and expect to be taken serious!

The quality of lyrics have really dropped .

A true musician makes music for everyone, every generation, every tribe, every religion!

The lyrics of most songs these days is nothing to write home about, some songs can’t even be played in the core north because they will consider it a haram.

What happened to writing Meaningful lyrics and making music our parents can relate with.

Record labels and A&Rs needs to check the increasing tide of explicit materials being put out by music artists.

We know sex sells but their should be a limit to it!

Let’s create a better society with our music.

The million dollar question is, As an artiste can you be invited to perform at a corporate event?

Can you perform for the presidency, just like Asa?

Education / My Opinion:sug Official Awards Boyfriend For Being Her Lover by Mophasa(m): 10:49am On Oct 26, 2021
Dear Obiano Rita Ogechukwu Janefrancis , As an ex student of RSU I find this appalling gesture by you as an aberration and desecration of the office of the Welfare secretary of Students union government of The Rivers state university.

The office of the Welfare secretary deserves respect and decorum rather than running a childish and nepotistic agenda.

Using your office to award your lover for just being " the love of your life" is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen on the internet. This is an outright abuse of power and these are the reasons why women will always be relegated to the background when it comes to leadership in Africa.

I'm sure you would eventually award your family members and village people for being the best family and kinsmen in the world if nothing is done to stop this madness.

Your lover also publicly accepting the award and acknowledging your stupidity instead of telling you the truth shows that you should be wary of such a man or rather you both deserve each other.

I can't imagine this happening in the days of Prof. Barineme Fakae as the VC.

You can both enjoy the clout and your few minutes of fame but I'm just here to remind you that both of you lack common sense and I'd be surprised if the School management or the SUG leadership don't do the needful to address your gross abuse of power.

Prince.
