Is this man that some Nigeria hate as bad as we have been reading in the news paper?

could this be bad publicity to bare him from contesting the election?
this are valid questions

Ok, People say I am one of the biggest critics of IBB in this forum, please I challenge anyone that has good evidence to substantiate their claim that IBB is the next best thing for Nigeria to provide it now please educate me why I or we should vote for IBB to be the next president?  I have my views on IBB, but I am willing to take the back seat and reserved my comment till I see what you guys have to post. Why you think IBB has good intentions to rule us again?

Interesting video on IBB

Before posting comment, please keep in mind that:

1.IBB is extremely RICH, may be the richest cat in Africa. He is not coming back to steal. If coming back to steal is the case, trust me IBB can be more effective and efficient stealing as a citizen from his Minna mansion. He doesn't have to be the next Nigerian president to steal more money. Please think about this important point.

2. Apart from his shady moment as the Nigerian president (just like the rest), he has the experience, the moral, the style, the charisma, the connection, the solution, the respect and most of all the wealth to develop and move Nigeria as a country to the next level more effectively and efficiently than the rest of the clowns.

3. In regard to value and moral, I see OBJ as an embarrassment to Nigeria and not a pleasant representative of the country. I can assure you that IBB will comport himself with respect and will represent our country and we will be proud to identify him as our president. His state of mind and moral values are untouchable (ASO ROCK will not be turned into a market place or a 2 stars motel).

4. He will operate government activities professionally and with respect. I can assure you that personal agenda or vindictiveness behavior will not be mixed with Federal Government day to day activities.

5. As a former president for almost 10 years, he has seen the light, the mistakes and resolution to all our problems. He is begging for us to give him the second chance and he will never let us down. You've got to see some of his strategies; they are incredible and will make a different in the country immediately.

6. If we elect another clown, it will take this party several years to learn the system and understand the appropriate actions or steps to take to restore the country. IBB is ready, focused and has what it takes to restore Nigeria as the GIANT OF AFRICA again. I can assure you that positive accomplishment will be witnessed within 4 months of IBB as the Nigerian president.

7. At this point he has nothing to lose, but we have a-lot to lose if we don't elect the right man (IBB).

Finally, I can not see anything better as IBB as the next Nigerian president and Duke as the VP.
I see a better Nigeria and a bright future with the combination of the duo.

May God bless Nigeria.

Big B1:

Before posting comment, please keep in mind that:

1.IBB is extremely RICH, may be the richest cat in Africa. He is not coming back to steal. If coming back to steal is the case,

Big B1 can i ask you one question? as a civil servant in Nigeria how much does a general receive in pention? How did Babangida get or secure his wealth? are this inheritance from his parents? and did you see the documentary on the 1st post?
Re: Is Babangida Innocent Of All Allegations? by BigB11(m): 8:22pm On Oct 04, 2006
Dude, I hate to respond to your comment.

Instead of you to read and understand the entire comment, you've selected to criticize a point and ignore the rest.

Well, you have right to believe what ever you want, and i respect it.

The question you've asked me, you need to forward that same question to every single leader (presidents, VP, governors, senators, ambassadors and so on ) we've ever had in Nigeria; including Zik and Awolowo.

My Point, the problem is not about just IBB, the problem is much more larger than IBB. Our focus should be moving forward to the next level and finding the right party to accomplish this objective,
Re: Is Babangida Innocent Of All Allegations? by Odeku(m): 8:25pm On Oct 04, 2006
See now you are been defensive, the past leaders and governors are not seeking to be reelected, IBB is seeking to be reelected, answer my question since you keep reinforcing the point we should move forward, How can I move forward when you can't even answer the objections that I have?
Re: Is Babangida Innocent Of All Allegations? by BigB11(m): 8:47pm On Oct 04, 2006
Dude, what do you mean by saying "the past leaders and governors are not seeking to be reelected"?

Do you think at-all?

Even OBJ tried to stay for the 3rd term.

Buhari
Kalu
Odelli
Duke
Atiku

do you want me to continue listing names?

FYI: It will be cool to just think before speculating rubbish.
Re: Is Babangida Innocent Of All Allegations? by Odeku(m): 9:01pm On Oct 04, 2006
for your info MR I am not interested in all those other guys, I am interested in IBB because he ruled this nation for over 8 year, and there are no documentary going on around about the other guys, and as you put it in your own words

DUDE: take a time out and read your own comment or question.

and let me know how it sounds.

I find it very difficult to respond:

1. I truly do understand the content and the point of your comment.

2. I find it very difficult to continue to respond to your comments because I can not relate.

and finally, I really do not want to condone your stupidity and childishness.

Enjoy the rest of the day, my friend.

I Got to go
Re: Is Babangida Innocent Of All Allegations? by Odeku(m): 9:42pm On Oct 04, 2006
HA HA HA HA
you must be one of IBB under cover tactics to convince us Nigerians to give him a chance, all I am asking you to do is give me reason why we should vote for him and you can't even do that, and yet and still you want to promote his ambition for presidency.only a stupid person will be stink by a scorpion twice and for you try and read a book call Stinger the Scorpion by Vertsa
Re: Is Babangida Innocent Of All Allegations? by Odeku(m): 9:50pm On Oct 04, 2006
Big B1 do you realized you still haven't answer my questions> as a Nigeria that will be voting, I do have the right to ask any aspirant for the most powerful post in Nigeria that I may have doubt or questions about. IBB dribble us once and i am trying to move past his dubious deed, and I am asking you to provide credible reason why we should trust this guy.
Re: Is Babangida Innocent Of All Allegations? by BigB11(m): 10:24pm On Oct 04, 2006
I'm starting to think that you are really suffering from intellectual deficiency.

Do you read? Do you have problem concentrating?

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder is another disorder should check out.

You just never know, this may be where your problem is coming from.

I've answered all you questions, my friend; just take your time and read. The answers are there somewhere.
Re: Is Babangida Innocent Of All Allegations? by Odeku(m): 11:47pm On Oct 04, 2006
Big B1 I am starting to think you are retarded from the comments you posted on IBB, talk about respect and values, what values and respect those a man that turn this country into turmoil commend? Value and vindictive, what value does IBB has for stealing from Nigeria and starching the money in swiss account? what value does a man that kill is best friend Vatsa has? what kind of illusion are you on, stop talking about IBB because you are starting to look like someone that should be confided to a mental institution. I read all you post and you are trying to be elusive and defensive, why can't you answer the simple questions Flex asked you? The only credible candidate for the next election so far is Pat Utomi, IBB will be tried once we have our next president. I don't know why OBJ is scared to end this fat neck general to KIRIKIRI. If Oprah can build a $40 million school in south Africa to benefit the under privilege kids, what has IBB ever done to make a change in Nigeria? SAP was a failure and the list goes on and on. The only reason IBB want to come back is to cover his tracts so he can never be prosecuted, If Abacha was alive today all his ill gotten wealth will still be in swiss
Re: Is Babangida Innocent Of All Allegations? by Odeku(m): 11:50pm On Oct 04, 2006
This is why I hate this forum its partial, why is BIGB1 not ban? SEUN he is insulting people left and right and yet you turn the other cheek. but I get Ban every other week for been outspoken, thank God I'm not in Nigeria cause una for don send higher assassin come get me.
Re: Is Babangida Innocent Of All Allegations? by BigB11(m): 12:29am On Oct 05, 2006
ODEKU: you need to pay attention to my comments, I try my best to respect people and their views. You need to understand that just because I see things differently from you doesn't mean I'm insulting you. Trust me, I want nothing but the best for my country, Nigeria.

May God bless Nigeria.
Re: Is Babangida Innocent Of All Allegations? by Odeku(m): 12:35am On Oct 05, 2006
How do you want the best for Nigeria? but as soon as anyone raise an objection to IBB you start insulting them? any intellectual person will never tell you who to vote for or who not to vote for. This is the information age, give people the facts and information they need and let them make their own decisions. As far as I am concern I've been reading about IBB and I am yet to find one reason why he should not be ban from contesting the election and tried for his atrocities while in office.
Re: Is Babangida Innocent Of All Allegations? by BigB11(m): 12:53am On Oct 05, 2006
Dude, I just try to bring the light to the other side of the room to the best of my ability. I never ask anyone to vote for anyone.

Do you understand English? or do you prefer to have discussion in another language? may be Yoruba?

Because it seems that you truly don't understand the content of most of my comments.

I speak Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo, just let me know your preference and I will accommodate you.
Re: Is Babangida Innocent Of All Allegations? by BigB11(m): 12:54am On Oct 05, 2006
Are you related to FLEX? 'cos you guys are very similar in term of thinking level e.t.c
Re: Is Babangida Innocent Of All Allegations? by Odeku(m): 1:14am On Oct 05, 2006
what has that got to do with the issue at hand? we talking about IBB, and you trying to change the subject.

IBB closed several media down while in office, Concord, Punch, and even closed down the Abeokuta radio station, why should he be aLLOWED TO RULE?
Nigerians are not deceived about the present campaign for his comeback, which had retched up so many flies on his rotten table, hoping that the days of unmitigated plunder will dawn again with his comeback. This has left us with a situation where men say what they neither mean nor believe but which satiates their base instincts and basic needs
Re: Is Babangida Innocent Of All Allegations? by imageman(m): 1:22am On Oct 05, 2006
What good can come out of a bad and rotten apple? Nothing! Please., let's face the truth,Ibb is not qualify to rule Nigeria. Here is a guy that ruled for eight good years and has little or nothing to show for it-except his wealth.A tyrant who called himself "the evil genius" and  personifies nothing but evil.A fake democrat, who doesn't believe in the norms of democracy.
He has records to run on,let him run on his records-i bet you,he won't even be able to win a dog catcher election! One quality of a good leader is to be able to unify-Ibb lacks this.
Nigerian leadership is not anyone's  family heritage. You all must remember that events crated by Ibb were directly responsible for the sadistic rule of Abacha. And for the sake of peace and unity in Nigeria Ibb must never be given the chance to rule Nigeria again. To those who worships and admires him, that is your right to do.But, in exercising your rights to support him,you must know that there are millions of us at home and abroad that doesn't  give a flip about Ibb.

Re: Is Babangida Innocent Of All Allegations? by Ndipe(m): 2:38am On Oct 05, 2006
Odeku, if you have provided substantial information about the duplicity of Babangida, then why would you ask people if Babangida is the right leader to rule Nigeria?
Re: Is Babangida Innocent Of All Allegations? by Odeku(m): 2:48am On Oct 05, 2006
Ndipe did you read the questions? my adversary BIGB1 accused me of been bias to IBB, and I told him Ill have an open mind and post a thread for people with valuable information to share. My mind is already made up on IBB, I was a witness of his regime in Nigeriaand and the adverse impact on Nigerians
Re: Is Babangida Innocent Of All Allegations? by Ndipe(m): 3:00am On Oct 05, 2006
That man just ruined the economy of Nigeria. He should not be given a chance to compete for office. I lived in Nigeria during his regime and I remember that he banned former politicians from competing in the forthcoming elections. Why has he been given a chance? To 'atone' for his past? Give us a break, babangida, and crawl back to your mansion that you built with your ill-gotten wealth.

If Nigeria was indeed a decent place, economically to live it, tell me, why would I be toiling for my bread and butter in America?
Re: Is Babangida Innocent Of All Allegations? by Odeku(m): 3:08am On Oct 05, 2006
Bingo that was the question I keep asking the people that want him to rule at all cost, most of us overseas are compel to travel not by choice, and in the process all we do is work, work and work. The evil and things that IBB bestow on Nigeria will be felt by generations to come.

Please drop that Agenda. Its Evident That U are Misinformed on the Person Whom U so Zealously Intend To Launder.

IBB is IBB and Would Still Remain IBB Even When The Chips Are Down.

IBB is guilty as hell and all things being equal can never make it back to Aso Rock; infact he might actually be on the way to calvary as any prosecution of him will easily steal the hearts of the people. Delta state is a continuous memorial of the wickedness of that man. Even if he said June 12 was deleted abi is it formatted. Asaba as capital of delta state is an iniquity which continues to this very day bear the mark of the beast - IBB.
Re: Is Babangida Innocent Of All Allegations? by comechop(m): 7:12am On Oct 05, 2006
I personally think that BIG B1 is one of the people paid to advertise for IBB to come back. My man, how much did they pay you to sell your birthright and independence?
Only a fool, would ever want IBB back for president. I was a kid when he was in power, but even now i can still see the after effects of his reign. its amazing that he even has the guts to contest!!! This Nigeria, only God would help us. If it was in another country, he would have been tried for the evil he committed.
I'm sure BIG B1 was an avid supported of Abacha and would still support him nonetheless.
But GOD who interneved for Nigeria when it came for Abacha, would also intervene in this elections. Christains are praying.
Re: Is Babangida Innocent Of All Allegations? by simpledee(m): 9:39am On Oct 05, 2006
I have read through all the comments posted on IBB and my honest opinion is that we're getting ourselves worked up over nothing.

Now, I don't know who BIG B1 is or what his motives are, but I think he just tried to raise some salient points (in his view) about the other side of IBB and why he thinks IBB should be given a second chance. Why should this result in a quarrel?

What I think Odeku or any other respondent should do is to present facts on why IBB shouldn't rule and let's turn this thing into a healthy and fruitful debate.

We all are aware of the circumstances that trailed the IBB regime but don't we have same for all regimes? People died during IBB's regime and we claim he killed them because he was the president, are people not dying now? Why are we not saying Obasanjo killed them. Corruption abounded during IBB's regime and we blame him for it, is corruption not everywhere now? Why are we not blaming Obasanjo for it, or is he so pious? At least from what we are hearing now, I don't think he is as clean as he would have us believe. What I'm trying to point out is that being a leader means you take responsiblity for whatever happens (good or bad). I think our hatred for IBB lies in the fact that we hated Military dictatorship, wanted democracy, and IBB for some reasons prevented us from having it in 1993. What we seem to forget is that he used his influence to get Obasanjo into power in 1999.

Human beings have the tendency to be corrupt, it is all about survival. Notwithstanding, there are people who wouldn't compromise integrity for anything, no matter what obtains in the society. Remember, society creates crime, the criminal commits it.

Personally, of the pack of leaders currently touted, I prefer Pat Utomi, I think he is the best on all fronts. But, if I can't get him, I think the next in line is IBB (he has the experience) again, my view.

Regards,
