what is the purpose of God allowing statues to bleed, to make more people bow down before false and graven images and worship them in the name of God? why then did Jesus die and his blood was shed ONCE for All! What happened to "blessed are they who have NOT seen and yet believed?" or have we become like those who require a sign to increase our faith?

That's the central question. In one line: some scientists know that there is a God - and you will find many of these scientists as Christians, Muslims, Jews and people of other faiths.

Science and atheism are not the same, even though many atheists would seem to hold out the idea that science thrashes out all other things - including the supernatural. There are some scientists who are deists and are not so driven to the denial of the existence of some deity of sorts.

However, many atheists who seem to think that science answers all questions of life, have yet not been able to proffer answers to supernatural phenomena. Some scientists who are willing to admit that there are such phenomena in real life, would rather say that science does not provide answers to every question in reality.

One may not say who is right or wrong in this matter because we don't live with your family. What one can say with any degree of closeness is that your mum believes in God for reasons best known to her; while your dad is not yet convince of the existence of any God.

I'll offer this: as a Christian, my belief in the existence of God is founded on my having experienced His power and grace in a very real way. I have prayed for certain issues - some of which I've received answers; others did not yield answers - at least, not in the way I expected. I have also seen people healed supernaturally by God's power after having sought medical help for years. This is not to disparage the medical profession; but rather to highlight the fact of what I have witnessed for myself.

I have also seen people pray for issues in the lives of others; and the results have been miraculous, and have affected the way I saw things prior to that time. An example is the charismata called the "word of knowledge" (I Cor. 12:, where someone speaks about an event that he/she previously knew nothing about. During my undergraduate days in Nigeria, I didn't know exactly what it meant until a complete stranger casually said to my close friend: "Don't be afraid: God heard your prayers and you won't have to pay so much for your project (sic). Another lecturer will be your supervisor, and in exactly 4 days you will be visited by a Canadian missionary who will give you the exact amount for your project."

My friend was surprised and confused (as I was). He turned to this stranger who was sitting behind him in the cafeteria and asked a pointed question: "So, if that is true, what is my Department and Faculty?" His reply: "You ask too many questions and you need to calm down and be willing to trust God more when you pray." And with that, he stood up to leave. But my friend anticipated him and asked him another question (I couldn't make out exactly what was said between them); but turning to me, the stranger smiled and said: "Please press on him to go home now!"

A day before the 4th day predicted, my friend eventually went home even though there was a test paper 3 days from then. To cut a long story, he was visited by a Canadian missionary, and eventually gave him the equivalent of N36,455 for his project. He counldn't contain himself and got back to school only to find the test paper was cancelled! The next day, he was called by another lecturer who was to be his new supervisor - and guess how much they came to on his project? Exactly N36,455!!

Now the question is: how scientific was this event, especially as we never saw that stranger from that time till I left Nigeria? All I can say is that, it affected my understanding of the "word of knowledge" and further strengthened my faith in God as a Christian.

Hey Syrup, 10x 4 d reply, yea i guess people who belive in God r mainly people who have expirienced his power n grace.
It's quite annoying 2 live in a family lyk mine, becausesome times in TV my mum is watching something, which she finds intressting about God, n my Dad just comes n says that it's all "Rubish!" 4 this reasons i'm also curious about this questions of y some people (n scientists) belive that there is no God! But lyk u said one again, about experiencing Gods power n grace, i just guess my Dad hasn't experienced it yet.( or in other words he has, but doesn't belive it 2 be from God),

I watched all parts of that thing, and i quite frankly am confused.

However, i don't believe that, the bleeding of a statue or picture is  "Miraculous" as they say it is.

These Statues are not 'GOD', "Jesus" Or "MARY". SO if the statues bleed, it doesn't actually signify something "BIG" (for lack of better word).
Most christians actually have gone against what the bible says. All these Mother mary statues that they bow down before, all these Jesus Statues that they worship. Those things aren't GOD or JESUS or MARY, they are mere images created by a very Imaginative person. What happened to Exodus chapter 20 verse 3 to 5?
I quote: You shall not have other gods besides me.
You shall not carve idols for yourselves in the shape of anything in the sky above or on the earth below or in the waters beneath the earth;
you shall not bow down before them or worship them.

They didn't even stop there, they are now saying that 'Jesus and Mary' Cry and shed bloody tears. Come on now. . . 

They saw tears, they saw blood, they tested and found it was human blood, and human tears. Okay fine they did. But The trinity as i have been made to believe from sunday school are not "human". God the Father, The son, and The holy Spirit aren't Normal human beings like us. That's why God has the powers that us human don't have. So if they shed Human blood and human tears, Don't you smell FOUL PLAY

And that guy saying that "our mother mary is sheding tears because of the sin in the world" is just saying B.S in my opinion. Telling me that the statue crying means that mary is weeping tears of blood for many of her children racing towards hell is arrant nonsense.  The un-explained tears of a statue does not, i repeat does not mean that "Holy Mother Mary" wants me to change my ways.

Did they even Break those statues?? Break them damn statues and see what's in them. Picture frame shedding tears of Olive oil?? Sooo Olive oil is somehow a sign from Jesus that he doesn't like the way i live my life??

Christians just link stuff up together and call it "the doing of the LORD". I mean come on now. . .  Statue shedding tears means Mary is crying in heaven? What in the world?

Telling me that Jesus (or the statue they have being made to believe is JESUS), is crying because There are  sinners in this world is ridiculous. The only blood Jesus Shed for sinners is the blood he shed on the Cross.

When People(Christians) are trying to explain the existence of God, they have to do it in a better way than this. This right here raises a lot of questions they JUST WON'T ANSWER.  Rather, they'll say it's a MIRACLE!

never said you judged. Just said it was interesting how you see things. Okay that's basically saying you judged. ha! Okay I agree i said you judged. You observe well if i might add. Theres just too much drama that goes on in here, and i try to stay away from it. Cos some people get pretty personal if you don't share the same views as they do. You know?

Ohh and i wanted to say: This movie or film or documentary, or 'fact' as some people might call it is in favor of the catholic beliefs -- well in my own opinion. Because seriously now, who else recites the rosary?? They are telling me to carry my rosary everywhere i go?? WHat is the rosary?? 

Only Catholics know what to say when reciting the rosary.

Penticostals know that there's God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. They (we) do however agree that "mary" was used by God to bring forth his son (and technically her son), to die for the sins of man.

Catholics however, Put mary on this throne as if she's GOD. When they talk of Jesus, they don't talk of God, they next thing you hear is MARY.
