NO Christian is blind. Each, being sighted, then has a view that is unique and brings to the table that view which can be the light to the entire group and thus for that moment be the leader. That is why Paul called Timothy a "Man of God". I started this thread NOT TO denigrate seniority in Christianity but to place it in its right perspective - MoGs, as they are called, are not an end to themselves. Indeed, any MoG worth his salt, has prayer partners who will rebuke him and correct him if wrong.

The people I stated I trust here cannot tell me to worship them or that they are "gods" or "christ" - I will not accept such.

The problem is people accept every and any thing emanating from pulpits and it is true that Absolute power corrupts - give almost anyone an inch and they'll take a mile.

I'll wager a lot that almost everyone on my list has had chance to "lead", become "MoG" and rejected it - these are people who felt led to hold on to reality and not become priests because they know there is just the one Priest. PS: Priesthood is different from being a pastor - our problem is those who do not realize that!
