Hopefully they employ mostly indigenes and startups in the area to support Ogun’s economic growth.

OkutaNla:

Yinmu. Ambode was just being a typical humble Yoruba visitor in igboland, nothing more. You and I know that Jimi Agbaje was the preferred candidate of ibos in 2015, and that igbos didn't contribute anything tangible to his election, even in spite of all the federal might intimidation by PDP, yet he won without their support. How much more now that APC is more grounded than ever in Lagos? The last LG election in the state reinforced that fact sef. So quit reading meaning wey no dey their into his comment. He won without igbos in 2015. He can and will do it again in 2019.

Are y'all seriously falling for this fake article? shocked shocked shocked shocked

Lord this is pathetic, even for IPOB.

What's with igbo people's desperation to associate with Yorubas that they have to create fake articles all over the social media?

Right on!

We also need to sensitize our people about the need to keep our region even wealthier, the need to buy and support our own brand even when other seems slightly cheaper. When we buy our own, we keep the money circulating within our people to create even more jobs and then hire our own people first for at least 99% of the position available. This is the only way we can survive before Nigeria finally collapse.

Just as osus from birth are thought to hate Nigeria, we need to teach our people and children the importance of self-interest.
Supporting your own - very important.

We also need to relearn that creating>consumption.

Petrolex plans $3.6bn oil refinery for Ogun

petrolex Oil & Gas Ltd. plans to build a $3.6 billion plant with a capacity of 250,000 barrels a day, Chief Executive Officer Segun Adebutu said in an interview in Lagos. The closely held company is working on the “front-end engineering design” and will complete construction in 2021, he said.

Nigeria, Africa’s biggest oil-producing nation, doesn’t have adequate refining capacity and imports at least 70 percent of its needs. A government pledge to end such purchases in the next two years by building local capacity has lured investors including Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, who is constructing a 650,000-barrel-a-day refinery. Meanwhile Saipem SpA and other international companies are in talks to rehabilitate the country’s three existing plants.

I hope it's moderately priced so everyone can afford to get one.

Same. That's the best approach.

I think the SW needs to commence with the manufacturing of SW-owned brand that will be embraced by all SW states as regional brand.

The Governor of Osun State, Rauf Aregbesola on Thursday launched a research and training farm institute in his quest to transform agriculture sector in the state.

I love the SW kiss kiss kiss kiss kiss

The Research Institute which is located at Ago Owu, Ayedaade Local Government Area of Osun was accomplished in collaboration with the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) in a bid to boost agricultural production.

Launching the institute at Ago-Owu Farm Settlement, Aregbesola attributed the success of the scheme to unflinching support which the state received from the officials of the IITA.

Aregbesola said the step was as a result of his passion to get the state rid of hanger and poverty also said that the state had released 205.5 hectares of land for the take-off of the programme as part of efforts to advance agriculture in the state.
