obalola7: We had a discussion about the topic above with some friends here in North America. Hmmn its hard to say, If i am the president, I will do what obasanjo did. Make EFCC more effective and arrest at will anyone with billion dollar accounts in Nigeria and should be ask to answer questions and those accounts to be monitored Investigate any suspicious Norther Big wings and charge them to court even when there is no substantial evidence yet: this will make them to be busy with legal cases rather than funding boko haram eavesdrop their phone lines and plant sss at their houses monitoring all big wings with illegitimate wealth create jobs and employ all northern youths I think this will do it. However, i think you nailed it yourself arrest all the political big wings in the northern state |

That i live abroad or not live abroad in anyways will not convince you to relocate to Nigeria, so the message was not intended to people like you, but people who could spend some seconds to re-make decision base on available information needed to connect the dots. |

justwise: Your second highlighted section does not depict any hypocritical persuasion. First the section is a persuasive sentences used to appeal to consciences not to migrate out of Nigeria. If you go to the top of this thread you will see where i said i was in Nigeria for 8 months. What do you think i will be looking for in Nigeria for that long if not for resettling down. That i am in the process of resettling down and still making some reasonable preparations towards achieving that does not emphasize hypocrisy. My initial thread where you copy the bold sentences from does not explain that and i did not say measure put in place to achieve what my goals are. It will only be hypocrisy if i stick my butt here and am not making plans to go, but encouraging others to leave. That is creating sense of double standard. Like i said earlier i am firmly standing by what i said, that home is home and i can not but be home sooner than i can imagine. |

justwise: Using words to describe people should be well thought out. How do you mean hypocrite? That i advocate that every Nigerian should reconsider going back home or stay home if they are still in Nigeria? How does that translate in your own definition of hypocrite? It does not appear to me you understand the thread, Please go back to re- read it and see how i came off with the tread and if there was anywhere that tells you that i was living or not living outside Nigeria. |

collinsfbi: Yes you are right. I 100% agree with you. One of my greatest concern is the level of poverty that leads to desperation. Our nation have strive where others have failed. But one thing is worth taking note of. The level of brainwashing and intimidation from the few in government can not be over emphasized. You can see what is happening in U.S and Canada, The match to wall street. Nigerians are so afraid of death, they can not do simple protest they are easily intimidated and do not believe in hard work. While the major challenge for those intending to go back home is not readjustment, but trust and the level of greed. When you arrive through the airport, what is in the mind of every common Niaja is that you have brought the money and everyone is devising a method to take their share from you. You see in my 8 months visit, it was like a training for me. Where people know that you might be wasting your money, they will encourage you to spend money in hope that they will get their Eguje. The society is so fragile that the only way to heal the menace is through max employment that is rigid on salary good enough to meet basic needs and total eradication of kick back or Egunje. You can not establish a business and entrust someone there while you travel abroad, If you are not careful, your capital will be gone not to talk about profit. However, re-engineering and re-orientating people is needed. We all need to make those that serve us realize that we can do and undo by ejecting them when ever they are not performing through peaceful dedicated protest and our vote. Until we can do that, The few in power will continue to take us for a ride. |

collinsfbi: There is no cause for alarm. Its very difficult with extended family to return to naija, no doubt. That area of your concern needs clarity: what i meant is, If we have a good country, perhaps i will talk less to make a conviction that Nigeria is home and should be home to all. How many Americans, Britons, Germans and other western countries citizens crave desperately to leave their country, Very few except for business or persecution . If you are going with the intent of coming back to Nigeria yes its good, But the desperation of leaving because of believing that naija can never be a good place or there is no greener pasture should be address collectively by creating jobs for ourselves and doing more as a citizen than the government. |

However, i was recently in Nigeria for about 8 months to actualized my ultimate dream by fully returning home and that does not mean i will not travel out of Nigeria after my return. collinsfbi: @collinsfbi, My argument is clear and you might have problem in understanding it because it tears across different segments and sections. Irrespective of the legitimate reason for anyone to travel, the ultimate premonition is to eventually perpetuate oneself in another man's country. While my argument has been that the desire of leaving Nigeria might not be ultimate solution to most of the people who have ventured into trying to go to these countries, it also centered on the sense of patriotism: plan to make Nigeria better so that we do not have to go to others people's countries for greener pasture. |

@MRbrownJAY, While i strongly agree with you, I also think desperation and the unrepentant heart of trying to Get RICH quick leads us to some scam. A comprehensive report of the recent Canadian Scam will open the eyes of any Nigeria with conscience and sense. We can not afford to live in an elusive world. Every country is crunch trying to take care of their own people, in U.S over 9 percent are unemployed among other countries with similar concern. Canada is less populatedwith a population of a little over 33 million, its like combining Lagos and Ogun States Check this and you will see for your self: http://talkofnaija.com/News/newsdetailsone.aspx?NewsId=FE8AADDB-D848-47BC-8774-B542DDC12848 You can imagine the state of argony this people will be, There is no magic in traveling. Babalawo and alfa confirmed that the scam is real, the scamer must have consulted them earlier so that they can not see anything in their crystal ball. It was high drama recently in Lagos when over 7000 Nigerians realized they had fallen prey to the tricks of one Fred Olawale Makanjuola, owner of Crystal Services, an immigration consultancy outfit. Olawale packaged a programme, inviting Nigerians who want to live and work in Canada to apply. The package he told them was free and his agency would foot the bill while the applicants would sign a bond to pay him back twice what he intends to spend. To further convince them, he involved the services of the police that provided Character Certificate clearance, the federal high court where affidavit were obtained, St. Nicholas Hospital and the National Hospital, Abuja for medical clearance. Although the package was free, applicants paid at least N50,700 for registration. The victims cut across social and economic strata, that even the enlightened were part of it. But how won’t one fall for a trap where the master of the game staged a symposium at UNILAG, invited people he said were from banks, Immigration, NDLEA and others to coach the victims on how to travel to Canada and actualize their dreams while maintaining clean image for Nigeria. Even applicants from nearby African countries travelled down to Nigeria to benefit from this dubious programme. The bubble burst when the National Agency for Prohibition of Traffic in Persons (NAPTIP) got letters sometime in June from applicants trying to confirm whether Crystal Services was not into human trafficking. The agency discovered that it was a scam and visited the office at No. 8 Okuneye Avenue, Famous Bus Stop, Pedro, Shomolu, with a search warrant when Makanjuola refused to honour their invitation. Addressing the confused crowd Mr. Josiah Emerole, Head of Lagos Zonal office, who led the team to break into the office, told the crowd that it was a scam as they had investigated and discovered that the house indicated as his address was occupied by a young couple and his business is not registered. “He honoured our invitation, sometime in June and we asked him to provide documents to help us ensure that it was not an agency for human trafficking. We wrote to him severally and he failed to respond. It was then that the agency decided to lock the premises and arrest his secretary, Ronke Adeosun. It is with a search warrant that we have come to open the office.” The office was opened and cartons filled with Nigerian passports were discovered. Emerole who showed the confused crowd the passports asked them to go as the agency would contact them as soon as investigation is complete. Meanwhile the victims who still insist that their visas could still be in their passports besieged the NAPTIP office in Ikeja. As at Thursday Saturday Sun had reliable information that about 2000 of the passports that had been opened, and none had visas. Efforts to get across to NAPTIP failed as Saturday Sun was informed that a formal statement would be issued when investigation is complete. Perfected game Makanjuola, a 32-year-old man placed an advert late last year on TV and newspapers wooing interested Nigerians who dream to travel abroad. Part of his promise was that the agency would bear the cost of moving them out of the country, if they agree to pay back with interest after they must have settled into their jobs. Days after that publication, a crowd besieged his office indicating interest. Before the advert, he had sold application forms for N1000 but when he discovered the number of applicants, he immediately hiked the fee to N50,700. On the sudden increase, he told the applicants that he wanted to foot the bill for medicals but the number of persons interested in the programme made it impossible. According to some of the victims, he explained that the amount is expected to cover medical clearance and registration. Still that did not deter the teeming crowd from picking the forms. To further convince them that the scam was no scam at all he directed them to Alagbon police unit in Ikoyi to obtain fingerprint clearance. He also demanded sworn court affidavit indicating that the amount spent on each of them is N750,000 and they are to pay back double in two years. They also filled a form for traveller’s cheque from GT Bank. He later organized a symposium to enlighten his victims on what they are expected to do when they get to Canada. The symposium held at the UNILAG main auditorium on June 10 and had one Mrs. D. O. Abidogun, claimed to be an immigration officer from the Department of Human Trafficking, Dr. Anthony Clerk who was the MC and one Barrister Odion a GTBank representative. While it appeared the process was clean, he planted agents to extort money from applicants with the excuse that they would put their names in the first batch. Text messages To further convince them that he is grounded in his art, he sent series of texts to applicants to inform them on plans for the trip. To notify them of the travellers cheques he sent this text: “You are hereby scheduled for an invitation to apply manually for your Basic Travel Allowance at Crystal Services. Venue 8 Okuneye Avenue, Famous bus stop. Date: 2nd August 2011. First session 10am to 12pm. Second session 1-3pm. 3rd session 3.30-4pm. Note you are to tender the following – your sworn affidavit, 2 passport photos, invitation sent by Crystal Services (not a forwarded message)” When his initial departure date of August 20 was fast approaching, he sent this: “Thanks once again for believing in our programme. We are earnestly working towards the success and reality of our moving schedules, a slight change was made on our date of departure which was due to the Ramadam season. Our new date is September 11th and 12th 2011. Note, ensure you get the carton colour or lace material.” This came few days after: “Take notice of the under mentioned dates: 11th day of September: Exhibition at the National Theatre, 12th day of September: Air lifting commences with applicant registration numbers.13th Day of September: Air lifting continues to the last registration number, 14th day of September, Foreign orientation in Dubai for three days: 15th Movement to Manitoba, Canada: 19th arrival party, 20th day of September Rest day, 21st to 22nd of September: Registration, assimilation and association. 23rd to 29th day of September training and seminar: 29th of September confirmation/collection of certificate. 1st of October, collection of materials, 2nd of October Future begins. Signed Crystal Services.” On September 11, dressed in their uniform, his victims who bade farewell to their families gathered at the National Theatre for the exhibition and takeoff the next day as planned. About 7000 Nigerians waited anxiously until they received another text message saying: “We are sincerely sorry for not meeting up with our exhibition plan as scheduled, we want you to know that the air lifting is most paramount and that has been our area of concentration for days now. We therefore, implore you to please bear with us as we will update you as we progress. Thanks! Pls. pass this information to as many applicants you have around you.” They all dispersed and still the callous scammers sent another message through their agent for each to pay N2000 to enable them assist the airline operator to repair the plane. This amount majority paid into an account before the cat was let out of the bag – 7000 had been terribly fooled and swindled by one young man in a grand scam. Was the Canadian High Commission aware of the plans to issue work permit to this number of Nigerians?we inquired. According to their police liaison officer, the High Commission as far back as May received letters from the victims trying to find out whether the programme was genuine and they were told that it was a scam. One of the letters made available to Saturday Sun, the Deputy High Commissioner of Canada, in it response to the victim said: “There is no such programme, and this is a scam. Canada has no fast-track programmes for immigration or work permits. Individuals who wish to work in Canada should follow the instructions and guidelines which can be found on the website at www.nigeria.gc.ca or www.cic.gc.ca.” According to the liaison officer, no High Commission appoints agents outside the commission to run its activities. “Normally work permits are not given outside the country, the individual must have acquired a visa that befits that permit.” When confronted with the allegations that Immigration service was a part of the scam, Muyiwa Odunubi, Lagos command Public Relation Officer debunked such allegation insisting that it could be a case of impersonation. “If any of the victims have a proof that an immigration officer was involved, let the person come forward. We need a photograph of the event showing the immigration officer. Let the victims help us to arrest this impersonator. We are not aware that such an agency is existing and did not at any time send a representative.” Meanwhile we hopes to discover later how Makanjuola was able to operate an account in a new generation bank with fake identify in spite of the rules. We also hope to find out why the police issued fingerprint clearance to more than 7000 persons without raising an eyebrow and the Federal High Court that issued same number of affidavits without confirming what all these were about. Tales of confused victims Still finding it difficult to believe that they were defrauded most of the victims who spoke with Saturday Sun said the programme is real. They rather blame NAPTIP for destroying their dreams. They also accused the federal government for failing to protect its citizens from the fraudster because the agencies they were referred to failed to alert them that the programme was not real. Emeka Okosun, a final year student of FUTO can’t believe the outcome. “I was supposed to take aptitude test for a job my father had arranged. How do I face my father, what will be my story? I investigated well, I went as far as visiting a native doctor in Ogun State and he confirmed that it was real. I know it is real, its NAPTIP that wants to spoil the business.” Suleiman a businessman in Kano blames the police for failing to alert them, and said “I can’t believe that I have been defrauded. I consulted an alfa and he confirmed it.” Chidi who claimed to have resigned from a job that pays him as much as N120,000 a month lamented that he sold almost everything he had to embark on the trip. He claimed to have given Olawale about N500,000 to ensure that his name is in the first batch. “I investigated this matter properly. I even went to GTBank and they confirmed that the travellers cheques had been processed and handed over to Fred. If a bank as big as GT would be convinced that this man is real why won’t I believe? If this is scam then, the bank, police, Federal High Court, Immigration and even lecturers are part of it. During the symposium at Unilag, a staff of the bank addressed us on how to use the travellers cheque when we get to Canada. The immigration woman told us that it was real. The lecturer that claimed he came from LASU was there. There was also a representative from the NDLEA who advised us to stay away from drugs. I am seriously suspecting that NAPTIP is a spoiler because Fred refused to play ball.” Another victim Lukeman Abiodun lamented that Fred collected money from them and is still withholding their passport. “I am a master’s degree holder and cannot believe what is happening. I am sure that this man must have visited the highest juju in Nigeria to perfect the plan.” Faniyi Olalekan, is one of the lucky ones who parted with only N75,000 before he discovered that it was a scam. He wrote a letter to the embassy that informed him the deal was not clean. A banker who is yet to come to terms that this is real thanked his stars that he did not tender his resignation letter before the bad turn of events. “My sister, I have my resignation letter in my pocket as we speak. Thank God I did not submit it. Three of my friends who were affected had resigned.” MRbrownJAY: |

MRbrownJAY: @MRbrownJAY, Good comment bad approach: I make no sense maybe to the guys that will want to do the blue highlighted comment. However, the act of being patriotic does not mean i have failed, and what gave you that instinct? Anyways, like i said earlier in one of my previous responses, its a free world where words can be used insanitized and people can say anything they want just by opening their mouth, I guess the Americans that fight for their country and die for their country are FAILURE, Go and ask Mathew Osimolowo a Nigeria pastor in England with the largest Black congregation in the entire England. In one of his unforgettable moment he reiterate his ordeal on how he was treated during the time the U.K government decided to take part of his church land for community (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/london/7244798.stm) usage, He thought it was a joke, perhaps because he was a citizen with red passport, But when they started investigate his finances(http://www.elombah.com/news/node/636) it was made clear to him through their action, that he was still an immigrant. Then he realized that that passport was a borrowed property of U.K government for any reason it could be taken away from him, He quickly came back to naija and started investing in establishing Hospital and (http://nigeriafilms.com/news/13279/33/pastor-matthew-ashimolowos-kicc-university-to-begi.html) University in his home town, I guess he was a Failure and with all his wealth and affluence happiness and success, why didn't he invest in University in U.K if he thinks that is home. Remember he is the pastor of the largest black church, what else does he want, could not be questioned around him, In fact you don't know anything about success and not all success amount to happiness, if not the guy that blew himself with his private Jet into the IRS building in Dalas Texas few years ago would still be alive. Anyways i need not to convince you about my belief nor do i need to prove to you about my success, 1 Like |

collinsfbi: @ collinsfbi, I am very much with you and i understand those reasons. While i respect those with such great ambitions i think there are other ways to look at these concerns too. Education Many young Nigerians today prefer to travel abroad to study If education is all that it is without sense of entrepreneurship, people like Bill Gate, Steave Jobs among others would have gotten anything above Phd(but they don't have bachelor degree). Look at many of those that have gone to study abroad and see what we get out of them, while that may not apply to all, majority of them are bad project. Look at Dimeji Bankole former speaker of the house of representative-with all his foreign education or living abroad see what we get out of him. Then look at Fashola Governor of Lagos state and compare him with Tinubu who profess to have study abroad, check their outcomes, while this can not be necessarily used as a yard stick, i think we should understand that, all this going abroad and dashing out our remaining money to these white men is another form of imperialism. Security Reason Nigeria these days is not safe for anybody no matter who you are despite the fact that there are no earthquake history From the history of human existent, human beings have always live in dangerous environment, either from wild life(lion on the land, shark in the sea), slave masters in Africa, Europe and U.S, area boys and omonile wahala in Nigeria, Drug cartel and gangs in U.S and Europe, Gun shooting or snipers shooting in Maryland, U.S and Bomb everywhere what else, either via train stations or by plane, The only security you have can never be provided to you by man or government but God, No where is secure Unemployment This is another reason why many Nigerian will prefer to travel abroad. The university taught us about unionism, organization, club and association, If young devoted, focus, energetic, dedicated and honest oriented young men stand up using the skill acquired at various universities both educational and world universities, employment can be created. Google is two men company, Microsoft was two men company until one parted, Yahoo is too man company and many more like that, What happen to Nigeria youths? They can do the same, in association and commitment, we can create job without the Government, we can dictate to the government. Some of the people that made it today, did not wait to be employed by the government, although they later work in hand with government when everything start flourishing. look at Dangote and Dantata with family money they start up, two heads are better than one. Lack of social amenities This is another area why many people will prefer to travel abroad. With advance technology Former Senator from Massachusetts dies of brain cancer, in Canada, the NDP leader Layton die of cancers too, Cancer kills anywhere and people die everyday anywhere, However, if we have dedicated young voice, we can have many of these latest medical machines donated to Nigeria for free. There are doctors all around the world willing to render humanitarian service, First we must work as a group of patriotic Nigerians, we must dedicate, focus and live with passion towards building our nations then we can have all this luxuries of health care, employment, security and later enjoy traveling to any part of the world with no visa and without having to line up for 12 hours or wait 3 months before visa is issued. We can also create other amenities, The American dream can be actualize in Nigeria. Nigeria is not the worst in the list, Everyday other youths from other countries(Niger, Benin Rep among others) cross over to our country in search of Nigeria Dream, Our youths are dedicated, they are hardworking and they are devoted if they see guardians and know that there is light at the end of the tunnel. A good example is the yahoo yahoo and yahoo plus things, You will see dedicated Nigerians sleeplessly active over the night and have a schedule to work from 10pm-6am even doing over time as if he is working shift and trying to magariszed very intelligent, smart , educated and even ivy scholarly professional in the other part of the world. Many succeed but end up living the life they should be living when they are 60s, retired and must have invested. If such energy is focus to creating legitimate jobs, you know how many young uneducated and educated Nigerians would have jobs now? A lot. With an active young brains the world, Nigeria and African can flourish with necessary goodies need for human survival Oneness, one voice and one vision as Nigeria youths can open doors of opportunity for us. |

Forget diseases, what are you talking about, i don't know where you have been to, but i am sure there are many things you don't know about diseases. There are many diseases in these parts of the world that you have never heard of and it will take tongue twisting to pronounce them. You have failed to drive home my assertion and only succeed in gearing energy into one among many other reasons why many Nigerians should stay home. You talk about 200 people, an average natural disasters in these countries take several lives that what happened in Ibadan. justwise: @justwise, Every argument if critically examined is one-sided: its used to either persuade for or against. While you can argue against my argument or for my argument. The fact still remain the same that reasonable Nigerians outside Nigerians suffer helplessly. Your interpretation of my statement: You have a good topic but you killed the whole argument by making some unfounded comments. There is no evidence that diseases in Africa were brought back by Africans visiting from developed countries, does not reflect the meaning. Aids could be brought in any form. 1 Like |

MRbrownJAY: @MRbrownJAY, When does leadership comes with this your idea of let them deal with the consequences of their action. The only way anybody can quickly progress is by having a mentor or role model. My experience as well as others should guide others in not falling into the same predicament. If you could clearly search many of those who have been in these countries for over 10 years especially the a little older generation, they will tell you how much they are hungry in returning back home, but they are broke and have no clue on how to return. "let each and everyone decide whats good for them AND LET THEM DEAL WITH THE CONSEQUENCES OF THEIR ACTIONS!!!" Is like saying let every one experience electrocution because even when some said its not good for others or better still let all the chicks stray away until they can not return to their mother. Irrespective of the situation "expecting everyone to stay back in 9ja, when some clearly went away, got a BETTER life abroad and don't want to go back home, IS WRONG!!!" we need to ask how many other nations are migrating like Nigerians especially the youth. Do you think Nigeria Youths are the most suffering youths in the world? Check some eastern Europe nations. Do you know the number of Nigerian expiring in U.K, U.S and other countries prisons? Comparing to the fraction that succeed to those expiring even outside prisons in these countries you will realized that there is need to change our orientation. The doctrine of believing that once you leave the shore of Nigeria to all these countries you will automatically become rich should stop. We should channel that energy into nation rebuilding and job creation ourselves by becoming self reliance. 3 Likes |

U.S, Canada, U.K, Australia and any part of the world is not better than Nigeria. I read the post: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-706047.0.html and i was very disappointed even when several warning bell were rang to people ears. I will not be surprise if you don't listen, but for those who will listen, let us discuss on how we could create job, wealth and home for ourselves in our own country. Over the years i have watched with kine interest why anyone will want to travel to a foreign land for greener pasture. I have consider lots of presumable comfort that people talk about from Steady electricity, job, private transportation, education and anything you can imagine. Yet i am more than convince that Nigeria is still a place to recon with. It is a Home for millions of people, a place of pride where our forefathers find comfort. It is a country with the largest blacks on earth, a perfect geographical area with mother nature and God given endowment. The home of some of the human brilliants species in the world. From a brighter weather, to a natural and beautiful landscape. Yet someone will come and tell you that Nigeria is not the place, No earthquake history, No Hurricane, No volcano, No Heat stroke, No Cold winter but beautiful weather the God made it all. Unlike other suppose greener pasture full of customize diseases(AIDS)that will later be sent to Africa and eventual plague some Nigerians. Hurricane everywhere, Volcano in the river, Heat stroke on the street, Code in your room, Hurricane in your state or province. Yet Nigerians are desperate to go over there. Few years ago, a friend during a discussion said poverty is a disease though i laughed it over, but every-time i am face with Nigerians and the situation i flash back into that simple word: poverty is a disease. Will it be so for Nigerians and young Nigerians especially. I studied youths at other countries who are not wise but smart and i measure their success all i could find out was that the only reason someone will take N5 million to come to this places (for greener pasture) they call obodo oyinbo is because he is a f00l. How on earth could you spend even N500,000 ($3,000)to travel to a foreign land in search of greener pasture when most of the people you are coming to meet do not have N150,000($1000) in their account. You bring the little you have to develop a country that is supposedly developed and leave your home underdeveloped. In 2007 i met a man who was a manager in one of the growing banks and as he said he was the head of the eastern part of his company in Nigeria. When i eventually move close to him i notice that he was a Nigeria and a security guard, he should be in his 50s, he had just gotten his green card and has just find a job after several searches. When i ask what was the problem, he said he was deceived by his wife to come to U.S because she felt he was going to leave her. So he resign and took all his benefits, salary and money from sold properties to U.S. As of the time i met him, maybe around a year later, all his swollen dollar account was flat than a tablet PC. In a simple word he regretted to have venture into U.S for greener pasture and he was desperately looking for way to return, but was flat broke. Four years later, i met another who was as he said was a manger of one of the major transport companies in Nigeria, he applied for Canadian Resident and he got it. He sold everything he had to work as a security officer in Canada. Security Guard is the simplest easy job anyone with no experience can get into. The requirement is minimal all you need is know how to read, write and do some training and you are good to go. Today, he regrets his action. Also in 2007 during my adventure in U.K i went to meet several of my friends who have boasted that they were studying, or working at a good place. What i saw was similar to what i have seen in Nigeria, A group of young Nigerians in a room playing cards, drinking, watching Chelsea v Man United at a bear parlor especially in East London where its encroached with Nigerians, its like Lagos Island or a typical local market in Nigeria where you can hear anyone calling mama risika or baba bomboy. What they could boast of was that they are not in Nigeria at least no one see them suffering and they could act on the phone as if all is well. While many are stranded as a result of paper, those who have paper are stranded too. They can not afford to come to Nigeria. Enough of story said, Don't get me wrong other made it and many did not, Nigeria is a place where many can make it and few don't because its your home. Stop migrating, stop the guy next door to you, ask him to invest his money in Nigeria, to create job for himself and other people in his situation. One thing that is sure is that you will always be first class citizen in Nigeria, but you could be last class citizen every other place, even if you are successful. The solution is what i am concern with, Can we have young group of people who are Patriotic about Nigeria? Can we have young group of 10 with minimum N500,000* 10=5,000,000 who can go far from Lagos to secure acres of land and invest in agriculture and there they become Farm investors? Can we have group of talented young men who can invest in technology like its being done in U.S, China and many other country that pride themselves with their country? Can we have young men who can come together and invest in property, 10-20 young men with 500,000* 20=10,000,00 [10 million],They buy a property or build it and make profit from renting it out? Can we show other African youths the way? I will appreciate healthy contribution: 2 Likes |
