Amotolongbo: The leaders of IPOB in exile walk the cities of the free world. It’s only in Muhammadu Buhari and Muhammadu Gambo’s Nigeria where unarmed self determination citizens are branded as terrorists. But the Muhammadu’s of the 12 sharia states in northern Nigeria first started their secessionist movement when they adopted Islamic Sharia criminal laws in a Nigeria of most plural religious faiths. Since then, Boko Haram emerged and says it’s fighting for a Nigeria to be governed with Islamic Sharia criminal laws. ISWAP has now joined Boko Haram. In 2001, Muhammadu Buhari said he would not rest until Islamic Sharia criminal laws are used all over Nigeria. 4 Likes |

Resurrection212:You still live in the 1960s The most foolish mistake people of Arewa North of Nigeria make today is their assumption that Great Britain shall send its troops and moral support to fight to keep one Nigeria in this century. As Great Britain opted out of the European Union, there will be no moral force in British people to support any fight against any group willing to opt out of dysfunctional Nigeria. 7 Likes |

This shouldn't be enough to make a resourceful non Ibo person want to claim to be IPOB. If there is preferential treatment for Biafran citizens that exceeds what we currently have, then Yes one can even become a Biafran and get passport sef. To japa to the UK on IPOB Asylum status is self handicap...infact na f**k up |

onuman: That's where you're wrong. Nigeria is a British business enterprise and as long as there's free oil and gas, they want the country as one so that the gullible Fulani would keep wasting the resources to the advantage of the British. As in sending British forces against Biafra, they may not do it directly since the whiteman wouldn't want to die for Black cause even a black economic cause. They'd rather give Nigeria weapons and training as they did in the 60s. The bad news for them is that the next war won't be a territorial one by asymmetric. So people must die and badly on both sides until they tire. And they must tire and come back to the negotiating table which is still Biafra. We do not pray for war, but if you look at IPOB body language, you'd understand that they have had enough of military intimidation. To them it is now kill and be killed as far as Nigerian security forces are concerned. A bad state of things for people in this country. 4 Likes |

Well, I cant tell for other countries but I can say that for Canada, it is happening here. However, granting of assylum is not just for all igbos, but for IPOB members of the Igbo tribe. I believe you have to be cleared from your local Nigerian chapter and then referred to a chapter in Canada. I have no personal experience but this is what I hear from those that were successful. 4 Likes |

ScamHunter: Shell BP is divesting in Nigeria’s oil. Great Britain is stopping manufacturing of diesel cars by 2030. Nigeria’s gas is not used by Great Britain. Buhari wants to pipe Nigeria’s gas to Arab countries through bulging two huge gas processing industries in the far north- an economic waste similar to Kaduna refinery where crude oil pipelines were laid from the Niger Delta to Kaduna. It’s hard to see Great Britain making any effort to fight for retention of one dysfunctional Nigeria, less so, after all the years of killings of millions of people of Nigeria resulting from the inadequacies of one Nigeria. 3 Likes |

The fact that UK government is willing to offer asylum to members of a group proscribed by Nigeria as terrorists show they don't take our government serious and they are right. |

Is anyone still in doubt that Nigeria is on the verge of breaking up?! Nnamdi Kanu was really way smarter than the the Nigerian government and all its agencies, that was why he remained several steps ahead of them. The day IPOB/ESN took up arms, trained its members and mobilized them in such large numbers here in Nigeria without the government being aware was when they won the first strategic fight with Nigeria and I will give you reasons. 1. What it means now is that IPOB now have an effective armed wing that can fight a guerilla war with Nigeria if it finally comes to that. 2. ESN/IPOB has shown it has the capacity and goodwill to strike both within the SE and beyond. 3. The group enjoys massive goodwill among Igbos as well as a growing support base outside Igboland. Most other oppressed groups such as Northern minorities and Christians as well as Southern minorities now see them as fighting against a common enemy. 4. By aligning with Ambazonia, it means both groups can now share intelligence, logistics and offer support for each other. The fact they share common boundaries also makes it easier for them to interact in a more fluid way. 5. Nigeria's economy is now in the doldrums and its future is very bleak with uncertainty hovering over the country. Even the most optimistic person is now concerned about the country's future. 6. The more successful IPOB/ESN is, the more other groups especially the Yorubas would want to open their own fronts and with growing insecurity, poverty, frustration and hopelessness, more people will lose faith in the continued existence of Nigeria. Give or take, Nigeria's eventual break up will happen in a matter of few years. 4 Likes |
