This guy here is the real Odogwu. Nigeria Army and Police provided 7 Abobakus to escort him in the journey to his ancestors Even if you hate him you can't help but admire his courage, he fell defending what he passionately believed in, the perceived injustice to his people. Ikonso people are celebrating him despite media attempts to tag him a 'terrorist' while our troops have died as unknown Soldiers and Police in the SE except for Inspector Ramon Akintola of IRS who is well known by Lagosians but was sent from his IRS duty post in Lagos to an early death in the East by his Fulani superiors who should have sent their relations in Hisbah in his place. Every security personnel from the South reading this should avoid South East or if you are there lie low for now, let your Fulani colleagues mount the checkpoints, they are the ones at war with IPOB not us. 43 Likes

Guerrilla warfare... You know you're f**ked when you lose men and materiel from all angles out of nowhere. For how long do you throw men into this attritive guerrilla meat grinder?..The neutralization of Ikonso would have most stakeholders especially those in the intelligence and military formations tasked with engaging these supposed rag tag group envisaging a sudden abatement in these kind of hit and run attacks....But your guess is as good as mine that they're sorely, regrettably yet hilariously mistaken and sh**t is about to get f**king real... 6 Likes |

When the army comes for revenge. Social media and nairaland plus ipob supporters wont stop crying injustice. Our soldiers with families at home were on duty, you carry your guns and killed them, when they come back to collect the bodies of their fallen men with force, you start acting like a victim 8 Likes 2 Shares |

I will keep saying this, the government and politicians are the cause of these.. Yesterday the Ipob warlord was killed but about 8 security personnels lost their lives, today again more security personnels have died, as time goes on more will still loose their lives.. Keypad warrior will cheer and wail but people are dying, fathers, brothers ..women become widows, kids become fatherless ,destinies denied... It's so unfortunate. 4 Likes |

What I don't understand in all this attacks on security formations is why they are always caught unawares. I mean this is a big shame for our operatives . How do you get caught unawares every time, in a checkpoint for that matter 2 Likes |

helinues: people like you create more problems than solutions, if the attack of the police and military did not stop boko haram why then are you encouraging such with the false belief it will silence ESN/UGM. a while ago these Igbos were unarmed demonstrators doing their street protest until the ignorant imbeciles in uniform started killing them , now the battle has gone to beheading soldiers and you are urging soldiers to continue 26 Likes 1 Share |

kettykin: People like you are one of the people encouraging ESN/UGM to continue carrying on with the attack on security officers.. It's derision to be comparing ESN/UGM with boko haram...Abi no be ESN/UGM with no ordinary operational vehicle.. Borno state alone that is harboring the boko haram is far larger in landmass than the entire SE states.. Na where ESN/UGM one operate from? Those emotional blackmailing is no longer working.. If the ESN/UGM can't stop the attacks on security officers, hell awaiit them... Just only one day operation took a whole commander of ESN OBALOLA55 3 Likes 1 Share |

kettykin: How do you expect it to go? This is not a war, infact we can't even termed is as fighting self but decimation And where is all those face off would happen? You see why I said you are one of the people encouraging the rag tag ESN/UGM to continue with the attacks OBALOLA55 |

helinues: When they push it further , it will get to the bombing stage , by then the whole battle front will be changed and it will be difficult to control , ask historians what Ogbunigwe did to the 2nd Division of the Nigerian Army , with drones , GPS , Night Vision , the battle will be very predictable because Nigerian military is a slow and low tech military 16 Likes 1 Share |

Innocent security men? Are soldiers nd police men in nigeria actually "innocent" We are still yet to hear what happened to the deadly awkuzu SARS operatives, who tortured nd wasted innocent Igbo youths, b4 dumping their bodies in a river. No proper burial for d dead. Der loved ones still praying nd hoping for der return. Awkuzu SARS told a father to swim through dead bodies at dat river, nd look for his son's corpse. These are just d stories that made it to d net... How many unspeakable evil deeds go unrecorded at barracks and police stations? He who lives by the gun, will surely die by d gun. 19 Likes |

Four checkpoints between Elele and Omagwa and another at Isiokpo.. Hmmmm R.I.P to the dead but I wish our security operatives could focus all these checkpoints in the more volatile NE instead of a relatively peaceful SS/SE 7 Likes |

kettykin: You are not getting the point... Have Boko haram not been bombing , killing and kidnapping people for more than a decade? Why are they not operating in any part of the Southern region? Pushing it further can never be a threat to FGN, Nigeria army, other regions except the rag tag ESN and the region SE. Are ESN/UGM footsoldiers up to 2,000? Where do they want to operate from ? You better tell them not to bring unnecessary destruction of lives and property to SE region cos it's a fight they can never and never win... OBALOLA55 2 Likes |
