If election cannot be conducted completely electronically as it is done by BBnaija shows no need to pass the bill.
Re: Reps To Pass Electoral Bill Today, Panel Pegs Presidential Poll Expenses At N5bn by Sugar112: 7:05am On Jul 15, 2021
Section 48(2) of the bill reads, “Voting at an election and transmission of result under this bill shall be in accordance with the procedure determined by the commission.”

If this is left for the commission yo decide, what have there amended.
Nigeria is not yet ready to go forward.

5 BILLION and 1 BILLION to contest for an election all because they want to serve the people?
No wonder they get to the post and start stealing and looting.

May all politicians that have stolen from our National Treasury never end well in their lives, along with their online and offline supporters, who have collected or collecting any single kobo from such criminals.
Bad end await such people.

I really don’t understand why there should be a cap on the amount a candidate can spend in an election, provided it is not used to induce voters. Fingers are not equal; if someone is richer than you, he would naturally spend more than you. It’s unreasonable to ask everybody to be in the same pedestal, even God didn’t place us all on the same pedestal. A man might be richer than you but you could be more educated, another man might be a great orator and have less money and education; yet another might just have good looks and less education and poor oratory skills etc. Everyone has his strength and let them utilize their strength to win votes. If you’re going to restrict how much money one can spend, then you should restrict the level of education someone should have, the level of oratory someone should have and the level of looks someone should have; so that everybody would be on the same pedestal.

Politicians are not the problem of Nigeria.

Black skin is the problem.

Black abi brown skin is demonic. They hate communal growth, they are selfish, prefer individual success and personal joy not minding how it affects others, that's why all black nations are in a mess. If not for white people resident as citizens in South Africa, Borno would have been far better than South Africa.

If you like vote your fellow Nairalanders complaining into power, you guys will do the same if not worst.

The only reason I hate Buhari's government is because beside being demonic as a black man he is, Buhari is evil, wicked and heartless.

If Buhari have at least cautioned his terrorist brothers to stop killing people all over Nigeria, I don't have problem with him cos I don't expect any black African leader to do any better in terms of leadership transformation.

What made Buhari worst is his nonchalant attitude towards his evil terrorist kinsmen killing defenseless villagers in their homes when they are sleeping. God and nature must deal with Buhari and his family members that refused to speak up against his evil leadership.

I don't understand. All this millions and billions what will it be spent on? Is on printing and erecting billboards or standing and promising lies or sharing 1k to yourths to gather at a field and hail them. What exactly is the money going to be spent on cos I don't understand how someone will spend 5b. where will the person get if from. How won't they have godfather's who will sponsor them and decide what goes on the the state of nation? How can someone that has never stolen government money before genuinely raise that amounth of money and won't go in to steal? No wonder they loot and loot till they start looting from the national reserve.
Tufiakwa this country.

Why are they afraid of electronic voting and electronic transmission of results? Because living in antiquity gives room for roguery. Always what keeps them in there; no thought of sincere development for Nigeria.

I will continue to maintain my stand on Electronic transmission of results; i will never support such, at least not till measures are put in place to avoid compromise (such measures won't come today, definitely)
The amended bill is way to go, hopefully the senate do justice to it too with speed of light.

The most People that will come here to read and criticize the house for this bill are mostly the online bandits of PDP descendants, forgetting that this bill has been in the house since Jonathan era as an acting president till date; their hero spent 5yrs on this bill and couldn't pass it. But they are coming to attack those who have the willingness to pass the bill.

And please, if you have not read the content of this bill don't quote me.

So it was Jonathan's responsibility to pass a bill. Was he a President a Senator or a member of the House of Representatives? Note that these same APC members constituted the National Assembly undecided
