Me wey did naming ceremony back May last year during strict lockdown in my state. I say I no dey invite people because of covid-19 (it was new, the scare, the lockdown and all that). There was no movements of vehicles (most especially commercial), a lots of people still trek come plus plenty neighbours against what I wanted.

Let's appreciate differences. That they don't do it like you doesn't mean they are any less sensible. Yorubas touch each other's private parts in wedding ceremonies, Igbos carry palm wine up and down looking for the husband, etc. None is essentially superior to the other. So if these guys feel happier being alone in an isolated place with a goat, so be it. The most important thing is that nobody's right is eroded. The problem only arises when Mr. A thinks Mr. B's style is inferior and makes it a point to of duty to call him senseless, stupid, etc. In reality, it takes courage to pursue happiness regardless of what people would say.
