The major issue here is not who controls the land, the major issue is we are still talking about grazing routes in 2021, the phenomenon of grazing routes belongs to the wild wild west era. If our cows have to walk 500km to remain same as they claim, can't we change the species of our cows? Our cows don't produce more milk, or meat or reproduce better than other species so why hold on to them?

This cattle herding in Nigeria is nothing shy of land grabbing, these people are still trying to follow an old template that has no foothold in Morden times.

I wonder how much this cows contribute to this nation ,that make our govt put so much interest on them. Even education and health care for human has never been prioritize in this regime like these cows . In 2021 when others are exploring outer space and talking nuclear like play. We are still talking animal route. Why not change our entire constitution for these cows ,since the life and well being of Nigerians don't seem to matter or count.

The truth about this desperate attempt by the President to force ranching is that they know the truth, once open grazing is gone, the Fulani are going to be out of Beef Business in as little as 10 years.

Land is the major factor of production associated with Agriculture.

It stands to reason that those who own the land should control the benefit of it.

How can open grazing ban stop their cattles rearing? Na laziness dey do these Fulani's people, they want to be profiting from their cattles but with little efforts to feed them. Can't they source for the legumes to feed their cattles by themselves?
