Please a quick question:
I had a surgery about a week plus and I have exhausted the drugs given. Didn't want to get new ones cos I am not just comfortable taking those plenty drugs especially because of the something something growing inside me I know some drugs isn't good for Early stage.

When I went for the dressing today they saw purse abi what's the spelling which isn't good. And they tried removing the fluid. so the nurse wrote drugs for me to buy which the nurse assured me won't affect my something something. Plus most times I can't sleep at night due to the pain but I am scared of using drugs.

My problem is, my husband asked if I showed the doctor the names of the drugs so she can assure me it's not harmful to me because of my condition and I lied and I said yes.
Please here are the names:

Tab Augmentin (branded)
Tab Chymoral
Tab vitamin C bottle own.
Tab flagyl 400mg.

I hope I am good to go with them? Cos honestly I want the best for me and the something something presently in my incubator.. I rather endure the pain than take in anything harmful.
Please am I good to go with the drugs?

Use ori to rub d top n bridge of its nose (plus dont put inside his nose) it wrks lik magic... Cover ur baby very well, only bath 4 him once in a day n dont expose him too much breeze... Babies dont know heat when they are just baby... Rap in very well wit shawl... N his bathin water shld b warm n not cold or hot... Not everything is taking medication... Get practical to reduce d cough n catarrh symptoms

Babes, don't stop taking your antibiotics oo otherwise you may build resistance to it and also run the risk of getting your wounds infected if you don't complete your dose, it is best you see your Dr asap, delay can be dangerous or at least see a correct pharmacist around you. You can't take a decision about your health based on internet opinion.

I mean the leaves not the fruit. Meet all this igbo women selling foodstuffs in the market and ask for garden egg leaves, you can use it as a garnish in you food. Best eaten raw,also used in abacha.

Not until yesterday when I decided to log into my NL account, I probably haven't logged in for about a year now.

I want to apologize to my teamies for being MIA.

To do that, I'll drop my BS in the next post.

On Wednesday 17th of Feb., 2021, the little precious inhabitant of my womb for 9months was born via an elective ceasarian section due to 2 previous scar.

Unlike emergency cs where you're apprehensive and want to save yours/ baby's lives or both at all cost (in most cases), an elective cs has a way of making you feel scared/anxious with a lingering feeling of whether you'll make it out dead or alive �
.
Typing this now confirms I made it out alive, lol �
To God be the glory.

After anc on the 16th, I was admitted. Went for the necessary tests and finally went to my bed to relax in the evening. In my ward that same day, a woman was delivered of twin girls via cs and I wished it was my baby that had already made it out successfully.
.
The nurses came at intervals to give me instructions such as time to stop eating and all, when to sleep etc.
.
For all its worth, I couldn't sleep. I forced myself to sleep very late just before 12:00am and still woke up around 2am. When will 8am come? That was all I could think of. I wanted this done and gotten over with. The twin momma who was also operated just a day before said I should try to sleep as the lack of sleep on her side affected her bp and she's still battling it.
I layed down and I was able to sleep.

I was amongst the first to wake up around 5am. I had my bath, went to mosque to pray, came back to wait jejely for my doctors. Whilst dressing up after bath, I was trying to put on my bra, pant, leggings and all the orishirishi inner wears when one momma said, they'll soon come and ask you to remove everything now. Ehen �, I just siddon jejely in my abaya and hijab.

Soon, they started coming for me �
A doc came to fix my urine bag and line. I was given my theatre gown to remove everything and change after which I was wheeled into the theatre.
.
At the waiting room, I met a lady we were to be operated on at the same time. I said good morning to her thrice before she got the drift that I was greeting. Even when she answered, it was inaudible with a serious "don't disturb me" look.
Okay o. I sat down jejely.
.
Soon, the cashier resumed and was asking for payments /receipts. Whilst doing that, she was trying to catch cruise with our husbands on whom the babies that were about to be born would look like. It was funny so I jumped on the convo.. whilst at it, she asked me to remove my face mask so she could see my face very well and she was like "wow, your wife is beautiful with her gap tooth, the baby has to look like her"..
we continued laughing and all giggling sha
The other aunty truly didn't send us.
She was called in first.
The cashier told me they'll soon come for me too as it's a simultaneous process. She then asked if it was my first baby, I told her no.
She said "no wonder". That, "the other lady is probably having her first and isn't catching any of these we're doing ".I concurred.
It'll end in praise, we both said.

Few minutes later, I was called in. I climbed the operating bed and laid down flat on my back. Different drips were run through my vein at intervals. They were taking forever, I felt, because that lying position is very uncomfortable with a very big bulgy tummy. The doc also complained that why aren't they starting. She was told that, something something isn't available so, they have to raise her bp to a certain level with kinikan kinikan..
hmm, toh, ayaff hear o

The anaesthesist came, he asked me to stay in. a particular position in order for him to administer the anaesthesia, I did.
I must arch my back in a way and must stay still so my spine would be located, that one self is painful o but who am I to complain when what I have lying ahead is a more serious matter.

The man was just hitting my back, ha! eyaff do o
Alas, he found it and pim, I was poked. It was administered. I was asked to lie down back.
Can you feel your legs? He questioned.
I said "yes". He asked further, what do you feel?
I said I felt a tingling sensation down my legs.
Can you lift it?
"yes", I answered.
Oya, lift it. He said again.
As per strong girl now, I wanted to lift it, hehehehehehe, as I tried, it felt as though 2 bags of cement were tied to my feet. I just jejely kept it back.
The work of the anesthesia was to render my limbs useless such that one will be operated on whilst conscious and wouldn't feel any pain.

Someone came. I want to clean you, "she said".
Another person now brought out the main operating gown gan gan. I was covered and then shielded from my chest such that I couldn't see what was happening down there again. All I could hear was voices.
Now, we'll begin, I was told. This signified the commencement of the surgery.

Right from when that anaesthesia was passed, I wasn't myself anymore. I couldn't describe the feeling but it was the height of discomfort. It was so much, I forced myself to sleep. I tried to but I still couldn't. Then I felt that hard push on my chest. Oh yeah! I've felt it before. Before I could process it further in my head, I heard his cry.. Just what I've been looking forward to for ages.. the joyous feeling of contentment was unexplainable. At last, I give all glory to God.

The feeling of discomfort soon returned so much so that, the doctors told the anesthesist that, "your patient is moving".
He replied, "it's nothing, she's just feeling uncomfortable".
They said I should hang in there and they're almost done.
.
The nurse after cleaning brought my baby and asked, what do you have? I replied with a wide grin on my face, "a baby boy".
.
Soon after, the doctors were done and I was wheeled to a waiting room. And then, this heavy cold descended on me. I was shivering so much that my jaws were clattering over one another. I complained to the nurse and she told me to bear it as it was as a result of some post surgical medications to prevent bleeding.
.
It wasn't subsiding. This thing was getting too much and they had left us there (the other lady was there too). Wo, me I started shouting o. Who's there?
Another person came and said the same thing and that we'll soon be wheeled to our wards.
He said, "the medications that'll be administered once we got to our wards would make us feel better".
Yeah, you guessed right, she was also in the same dilemma.

Just some few minutes later, we were wheeled out of the waiting room and back to our wards where I met my lil prince charming. He looked so handsome and I just stayed there admiring him.

After meeting my LO, I went through a heartbreaking experience I wouldn't wish anyone that got my baby admitted in the hospital for 3 weeks.

Hi mamas, I'm in my 3rd trimester.... Expecting my LO any moment from now. So I was told to do my PCV test. Result came out 32%, the mid wife said it's low even though I take my drugs and blood tonic religiously.

My mum gave me some leaves (hospital too far I think), but I don't know if it's safe to take it. I hope it won't affect me or my LO
