Nigeria’s diversity is one of the country’s greatest untapped assets and strengths for national development, peace and progress This is what most past and present leaders have always been saying “our strength is in our diversity” just saying what people want to hear and we keep deceiving ourselves Unfortunately you can’t achieve development, peace and progress with a diversity coerced by force by fire with the barrel of gun This Diversity can only achieve little or no development, progress and peace. With one section of the country lord over other sections and no equality in justice. Diversity where as a southerner you can’t do some certain legal business in the north you will be arrested by hisbah and you expect development, progress and peace Where is the progress, peace and unity ? 29 Likes 2 Shares |

There is strength in symbiotic diversity , where every component unit strives to contribute its quota to the whole. This becomes WEAKNESS when some parts chose to PARASITICALLY affiliate with others, and refuse to develop their potentials, or be competitive in stating their place in the whole. Unfortunately, the latter is the sorry case with Nigeria... When do we fix this? IMAGINE repeating the mantra that two heads are better than one; and a man who earned 150k, spent frugally and saved a hundred every month, takes a wife who's a spendthrift, wants the best of everything, yet refuses to work. Now, he can barely save 20k in a month and you continue saying two heads are better than one? 1 Like |

They keep recycling the same hooey year in and out but fail to realize that it is also the source of our greatest weakness. Nigeria, like any company is powered by diversity. Each member carries with him, ideas, innovations and the likes that can fuel the growth of that venture but only when there is organisation which the country lacks; everyone including Mr. Governor here promotes diversity by doing anyhow but they expect the people they've so treated poorly and mismanaged to remain United. How? 3 Likes |

All these governors playing to the gallery to appeal to unity beggers. We have heard this statements and more before. Nigeria isnt working and it wont work till the slaves look the oppressors in the face and tell them enough is enough. 8 Likes |

Any day he is done as a governor or retires politically, the language will change, politicians are just sweet coating their gullible followers into believing the impossible, we can never achieve peace and progress as far as each region doesn't control their area or we separate as different nations. 5 Likes |

He's absolutely right. Politicians made it look otherwise. They'll divide the people on religious, ethnic and economic stand (using the Roman "Divide and rule" tactic). If we can put up a stiff resistance against divisive politics, the potentials of living in harmony dearth of background sentiment can be harnessed to improve our individual life and country in general. But then, this is Nigeria... 2 Likes |

The southern governors dont't have balls to speak the truth except wike in his own little ways. Dear Governor Udom, The worse thing that has ever happened to Nigeria was the Almagamation of the South and North. Mr Lord Luggard and whosoever that had a hand in the Almagamation process, may you all continue to rot in Hell. 3 Likes |

The diversity that the Northerners have hijacked? The one that someone who scored 50 in jamb from the north will be given admission before someone who scored 300 from the South. The same Northerner after coming out with 3rd class will be placed above the southerner who finished with 2.1 in the office. The the southerner will be doing the office work and the Northerner will be more concerned with promotion. If you are not civil servant in abuja, you will know what am talking about. There will be unity in diversity if equity and justice is ensured for all tribes, and merit is placed above nepotism. Good morning 5 Likes |

You are a mumu man. The North wants Sharia and Islam for Nigeria. The East doesn't want that. The North wants child marriage, the East don't want that. So how can they unite? Mr mumu man, North and South are parallel lines 5 Likes 1 Share |

Nope fool our weakness has been in our diversity A northern man in power would want to please his people first An igbo man in power would want to please his people first A Yoruba man in power would want to please his people first It makes for uneven development across the nation Coz we all know even the federal character is not respected 2 Likes

...a lot of our onions come from the far North; it enriches Ofe Nsalla in the East, Ewedu in the Southwest and Afang soup in my house in Uyo”. Udom Emmanuel is arguably the best performing governor. He should pls stick to governance and stop saying what he doesn't know Attached is the picture of ewedu I cooked few days ago, I don't remember adding onions 1 Like
