Realtalk20:Not so. A lot of them made it in life without the help of any God, so why would they worship any? Others saw how religious people are suffering and concluded there is no reason to be religious. 3 Likes |

You're confusing NON-CHURCH goers with atheist... Put them in a car that is about to have accident and see how they will shout JESUS more than you! Nigeria in particular is more religious than Israel. Wake up, op. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Gmajor: The internet is not a reliable measure of statistics. Let's get a proper census done with religion and non religion questions, like the UK does, then we can talk. The stat says there are 62 million Christians..I don't think up to 60 million Nigerians as a whole have access to the internet and I doubt that anyone was asked to take part in a poll. Internet polls are not reliable. Estimates too aren't that reliable Let's get a proper census done or at least a nationwide survey focusing on religious belief 1 Like |

dadabashua1:Hehehe! The people you're thinking are atheists will shout Jesus more than you if they're in a car that's about to crash... There's nothing like that in Nigeria! I had a friend who stopped believing in the existence of God because his father died and he dropped out of school. But one day, a sickness was about to take his life and it was in church that he got his healing after hospital failed him. If he was truly a geniune atheist, he wouldn't have gone to any church but rather die in the sickness but today he's a pastor. This country is filled with fake atheists. Trust me, they're all christians! 1 Like |

The main reason why atheism is fast growing is because people want to live their promiscuous and sinful lives guilt free. The concept of God and sin bothers their sinful hearts. Rather than submit to God and receive His salvation, they submit to their lusts. I don't bother arguing with atheists, have only met one though, in the end we will know. However, deep deep down, they have a witness in their heart that there is God. |

MJBOLT:when you consider the society they are it's necessary. Their to die is not yet to come so they need such guards. Even Jesus escaped when he was about to be killed when he hasn't started anything. Because of the large number of the people those pastors are leading, God has preserved them to keep preaching. |
