NigeriaB:Remove ego and let the normal and right thing be done. Someone that read Hospital administration can head the hospitals, it doesn't mean other health professionals. Don't forget, other of those other health professionals are humans and some are good more than some doctors academically. Everybody can't be a Medical Doctor. No health professionals has all the knowledge. 2 Likes |

NigeriaB:Is Medical Doctor the president of Nigeria? Is the Medical doctors the head of NASS? Any laws that they make, are you not going to obey it or you will say because they are not medical doctors, they can't give you orders to follow? Don't forget, all medical professionals in federal hospitals are all employees of the federal government, it is the government that dictate what happened in the hospitals and not any of the employees. Well, Government knows what to do. 4 Likes |

[quote author=Cmanforall post=110702396] You sound bitter. I think you should check again the hospital management in Nigeria. There is also Director of Administration. Should that one be scrapped as well?[/quote Director of administration that takes order from the CMD? |

ChngedChnges: K. So USA trained Doc who also take NMA license exam before allowed to practice in Nigeria also mean their certi is less recognized. I never knew there are special course which aren't taught in Medical curriculum only to be taught Abroad. Hearing that from the 1st time. And No wonder Nurses abroad are richer than Doc abroad Everything abt ur comment reeks ignorance and stupidity. Abeg off my mention |

NigeriaB:I went to a hospital because followed someone who went for treatment, there was a treatment rugiment the doctor wrote for the patient to take to the pharmacist for drugs, the pharmacist saw it and call the attention of the doctor to the drugs. After the doctor listen to the pharmacist, he quickly make an amendment to the treatment rugiment. See, nobody knows it all. Let stop this arrogancy. To be a pharmacist now in many universities is now 6years excluding internship and service. A Pharmacist can survive a medical school but he or she chooses to be a pharmacist because that's where passion is. Don't sound it to mean that other health professionals are dull. 5 Likes |

Racoon: No no no. As a healthcare Manager l can say that Doctors naturally coordinate all other health workers. He sees the patience request for investigation then prescribes. Doctors should pls lead the lead even a GP can be Medical Director if they want to be liberal |

Irrespective of what is going on in Nigeria, God is still God. Everybody will die and leave everything beyond including position and wealth. Why not allow other health professionals to grow? The doctors think they can keep on opposing them? The space is so wide for every medical professionals to grow and excel. If they increase Health care professionals salary or allowances, doctors will go on strike, if they increase Doctors salary and allowances, they are happy. Entry point, Doctors on GL 12 while others are GL9 or GL10. The only difference in year of study is 1year still, the doctors are not satisfied. |

Bluntemperor: The doctor was trained as a DOCTOR. To heal people. Doctors are not trained to administer a hospital. In fact, in America, administrators run institutions. Not professionals working in the institutions. For example, administrators run universities, not lecturers. 3 Likes |

Verrrrry Good. This bill should be passed as soon as possible. After all, Nigerians have the right to appoint anyone to handle whatever sector in this country. But please allow Buhari and Tonubu to see their doctors in London hospital. |

Let's be patient and wait for the outcome of the bill. If this bill is passed, it's going to be a very remarkable bill that will bring alot of positive changes in the health sector. Egoistic attitude will stop. |
