Don't forget to update us as it goes.

Waiting for the part you start laying your boss's bed.

The issue is that you will end up cheating on your BF.

Good evening my Romancelanders and Nairalanders. I hope y'all been having a good day?

Here's the thing.

Due to the ASUU strike I decided to get a job around my school instead of going home because Ekiti has become home for me. I resumed work on Monday, that's 6 days ago. I and my boss have not been having any issue. He gives the command and I get the work done but recently he has been giving me his home key to go and cook for him. The first time I was surprised because giving your house key to someone you barely know is a bit weird to me but since Monday that I've started the work, I've been to his house 4 times cooking stew or vegetable soup. I'm there right now embarassed embarassed embarassed frying meats.

I am seriously not comfortable with the arrangement but I can't say no because I really need to keep the job and save up. He's married but his wife is not staying with him and cooking and cleaning is the job of a wife not a staff.

Please house how can I stop this whole charade without losing the job?

Some questions already have answers: the wife of your married boss freaking out when she finds out you are cooking for him...right or wrong?

It's a matter of the mind and choice, go to overseas and see how people are making money doing this job. If your mind is doubting, kindly quit! I know there are many people willing to accept that job.

Re: Cooking For My Married Boss: Right Or Wrong by Freemasonry: 6:50pm On Apr 10, 2022
My dear this your oga has bad intentions.
If he wanted a domestic staff, he should get one, not convert an office staff to his domestic service. Clearly, he can afford to hire a cook.
Next he Will make advances.
If either you politely decline the cooking thing, or be on your guard.
I'd be surprised if he doesn't misbehave. I hope he doesn't. It would be nice to know that there are still decent men out there.

This your advice was not well thought out pls.
The question to ask the OP is what the job description is? If cooking and cleaning is part of the job Description then fine. If it's not part of it then he is using you. It's that simple.
Unless that was what was agreed between you guys from the beginning. Hope also while at it, things in the other room was not also agreed.
But who is asking, you both are adults so it's not our business.

To be sincere the man is not making any form of sexual advances to me.... The working environment is good and the pay is lovely.... Naturally I'm not comfortable with the whole arrangement of cooking.... It's not in my job description but I just want to hold on to the job for as long as I can....

Thanks for your advice sir

Are you silly.
Going to his house to cook is already a form of consent for a "more than work relationship". At least that's the way any man will see it. The next thing he is trying to sleep with you, and peradventure you are caught isolated, he may be one of the devil's who can not control himself and rape happens.

If he is starved of food, he is also starved of sex. If you know you do not want more than work relationship kindly be upfront about it, whether or not you loose the job.

Go to him, and have an Audience, tell him that your mother has asked you to inform him that it is not appropriate for you to be performing household chores in his house as he is married, and it was not part of the job description.

If he wants you to be performing tasks at his house could he kindly give you an employment job description specifying these tasks, and also increase your pay to be commiserate with the added function. And preferably provide a mini-cooking corner in the office where you can make his meals. So that if you are queried by his wife or family you will have an explanation and won't be caught alone in his house.

Do not fail in letting him know your family is aware of the job you have been doing by mentioning you mother or father. If he sacks you, go home, you might just have saved your life or years of unwanted troubles.

If he had no ulterior motif, he will either tell you to stop cooking or buy a cooker for use in the office.

She wasn't employed as a cook for her boss but as a sale girl (or whatever she's working as). I'm sure she didn't see cook needed in the notice board. So she's not being paid to cook.

I am not comfortable with a young girl cooking for a man it may likely be a way of getting you into his bed. It's not part of your job description so you shouldn't be doing it.
You wouldn't have let him know that you know how to cook good food.

My work is just to take order, document sales and expenses. Literally I manage the business money.... I've only been there for 6 days and the man Is the owner. @the bolded.... I'll take my chances till they finish fasting.... He's fasting now and quite a devotee so I don't think anything will happen now but I'm on a look out for another job
Fasting only prevent them from having sex in the day time not at night. Be discrete, you don't need kitchen knife as I am sure you don't want to have blood on your hands. Arm yourself with pepper spray instead and don't stay late or sleep over in his house. It is also worth asking whether his wife is aware of your cooking for him and whether she approves of it. Most ladies re not very smart in this regard, if a man wants to rape you, don't put up a fight immediately as you can't succeed. Pretend to play along and attack to incapacitate his so you can escape.

So you're saying your conscience didn't warn you? Remember to tell us when you open leg too o, 'cause by your admission, you can't say NO.

Not everyone does that, just that many men has done many wrong or absurd things that now makes us to be generalizing things...

For good three years, a pretty junior colleague cooked for me and nothing happened between us, till today she calls me big bros and her parents call us brother and sisters...

Also, during my OND days, I had a lady that stays directly opposite my room and was so free with, in fact, she calls me daddy. She did most of the dishes. Most times, she watches films and sleeps in my room. she turns her room to kitchen and where she changes clothes. People never believed that we were not having anything together, until my best friend asked her for marriage. And before, he (my friend) doesn't believe also, until I swear for him. Smiles... Two of my girlfriends also got confused, keeps asking questions. One of my girlfriends happens to be her best friend also. It was only her that understands us better.
