He likely invested in a particular currency that rose and he hit big on it. It happens everyday and he does not need people's money for it.

Be very careful. It's bait to draw you in. They did it for someone one I met at pos. He was instantly arrested and whisked away. They asked him to come and explain how he came about 7 million Naira in his account. They thought a 30 year old man was too young to have that much in his account. He was released after showing all manner of evidence, including written evidence from his employer. Don't go without being accompanied by a good elderly lawyer.It is wrong for you too to hold all your money in fiat..You should have kept some in fiduciary like forex, shares, bond or bitcoin. All can't crash at the same time. You can't earn in foreign currency without the security agents getting interested. You can even keep an account in Benin Republic and divert part of your earnings there.

Try and read the article. He used his platform to run some fraudulent schemes. Not that crypto currency is a scam. We have scam online vendors, does not make selling goods online scams.

Be mindful of transfer in as a pos agent, cash out withdrawal is better but if you would accept transfer, ensure that you know the person and its a smaller amount then secretly take a picture of that person with a detailed phone number should in case, you don't have a problem having done all that.

@ OP do you take any bank loan that is long overdue for repayment? It is one of the reasons restrictions can be placed on accounts.

Let me share you a live experience, you may not have done any illegal transaction or involved in any shady deals, they can freeze your account too in order to arrest somebody who have transact with you within a period

Same here with a fine of 5M, over 20M frozen. Although, it was because of Bitcoin related issues.
My friend, if you go to that bank be careful if not you will be handed over to EFCC. I speak reality, you're safe if it's not btc related. I was even threatened by the bank manager last year because I wanted to transfer 8M from my account. I wish you well, get a lawyer standby to avoid harrasment.
