Don't waste time. Early morning sun is secondary. Baby needs to undergo phototherapy in a reputable hospital �.

Delay is risky.

What is early morning sun?? Please it is curable. Just go to any General Hospital

Your observation may be right . There's an entity called 'breastfeeding jaundice' . It's caused by inadequate intake.

That said, any child with jaundice should be evaluated by a doctor .
There are a myriad of reasons why a child may be jaundiced and the implications of some may be too dire

How old is this baby? Jaundice is not something you should joke with. It requires all emergencies I'm the newborn. I have 4 kids, 3 has Jaundice, Neonatal Jaundice. My first 2 were on admissions and under photocare for 8 days each, in fact, the first had his naming ceremony at the hospital, the second had her naming ceremony after discharge from the hospital. Now, the 3rd had exchanged blood transfusion twice. Since I started ANC, for the 3rd pregnancy, I kept singing it to the Consultant, the midwives, the nurses, that all my babies had aundice. So, after delivery, we were discharged and preparing for home, then the HCA who was feeding the child said she noticed Jaundice on the baby, next thing, blood test, and they didn't return the child to my bedside. What I saw again was an ambulance from a more superior hospital to where I work. They didn't even gain my consent before they picked her, the ambulance came with a Consultant Neonatologist, a senior Neonatal nurse and another ambulance team member. This child had her blood changed (EBT) twice in less than 48 hours but I thank God she's fine. Milestone is superb.

You know my fear, if the Jaundice enters the baby's brain, it can turn them to vegetable.

So, please, take that child to the hospital. I'm a Christian, I pray a lot but I love adding knowledge to my faith. I also know that Luke was a Physician. I pray, I work, I allow health workers to do their jobs.

Stop giving op mental stress ... jaundice is easily treated with traditional methods than hospital ...

My kids were jaundiced at birth and we never used hospital treatment in both cases

Take the baby to hospital so they can manage the jaundice with phototherapy or exchange blood transfusion is need be

Mind you if you don't do that quickly before the jaundice gets to the brain of your child the outcome may not be good as it could lead to some part of the baby's neurons affected resulting to slowpoke

Not all jaundice requires phototherapy. It depends on the type i.e conjugated/ unconjugated as well as the values

Another remedy is to look for a male pawpaw tree. Get some of the leaves, preferably the yellow or drying leaves. Boil in a kettle and be using the water to bath the baby in the evenings, just before sunset.

Take that baby to a better hospital let him be admitted oo.
Sun don't usually help.

Phototherapy is the solution. 3 days phototherapy should be okay if the Bilirubin level is below 14.


Early morning sun bath also helps but must be at least 30mins to 2hr constant morning sun bath to break the excess BL.


Some people use ampiclox tab but don't use it.


Best is phototherapy, shouldn't cost much.


If the money is the issue first go to hospital and lets know the cost. Act fast pls before it gets worst (above 20).


Nothing will happen to your baby, act fast

Sorry bro. Phototerapy works, but slowly. I would advise you seek traditional remedies.

There is a leaf for it, very effective. The leaf may be found around your area and its free.

do this and thank me later.... Get unrip paw paw and cut into piece and divide them in two equal part. place one part inside a small cooler or small ragolis can, add water and allow to ferment over night the other part add it to your baby cover bucket where u always save water to bath him fill it up with water as usual with the paw paw Inside, always take water from that bucket with the paw paw inside to bath him, and From the one u soak inside cooler or ragolis can be giving your baby 2.5 ml morning, afternoon and evening... If it doesn't clear up in 3days come here and call me out....... If u need to continue it, after 3 days, trow out the whole paw paw and do fresh one....

I'm sorry but don't think u went 2 a gud hospital,yea jaundice common even mine had it,is not just the sun ☀️ but early morning sun which the intensity not strong dis days cos of rain.
In hospital we used,they have machines that they place the kids with light under controlled intensity with necessary drugs till baby okay.

I don't think is a qualified doctor u saw.

Oga the fastest and easiest way to treat Jaundice in newborn babies is phototherapy if its below 17, and blood transfusion if above 20.



3 days phototherapy will clear the Jaundice immediately.


Op should take the baby to hospital.


Phototherapy doesn't cost much to be using trial and error traditional method abeg

Mild Jaindice in New born is usually not taken serious at the hospital. all you need to do is follow the doctor's advise about the early morning sun. Also make sure you feed him very well because he needs to poo frequently so as to be able to expel the jaundice via poo. But in extreme cases, the hospital may treat the baby with exposure to artificial UV.

Just get unripe pawpaw pil it and extract the water from that unripe pawpaw and be giving it a drop of into his/her mouth at least 3 to 5 times daily and u too as mother be drinking it so dat he/she will be sucking it from ur body. 100% working

Get big unripe pawpaw, peel it, remove d seeds, chop it up into small squares and put in plastic container, like big Eva bottle. Pour boiled cool water in it and soak overnight. Start giving your baby like 2 shot of that water morning, afternoon and night everyday. Throw out the pawpaw after about 4 days and make fresh batch. You will notice the baby pee will change to a deep yellow color as he will pee the bilurubin out. Make sure the baby takes enough fluids. You can supplement with glucose water if you don't have enough breast milk. You can make glucose water by mixing a spoon of glucose with boiled cooled water. I hope this helps...

It's happen to my boy when I gave birth to him.The remedies bro,look for unripe paw paw,wash it and cut it into pieces and look for small bowl that have cover.Add clean water to soak it,when it's ferment you will be giving it to your babe... caution please make sure everything is clean to avoid infection of you want to use it for you know....still continue to put the babe in the early morning sun it's works very well.

No drug is required, just the phototherapy. I have that light.


Just cover the baby's eyes so the light won't affect his or her eyes and place the baby fully naked under the light for 3 days and the baby will be fully okay.

Unripe pawpaw is the answer as well as early morning sun. I used this for my baby too and he's okay.

Keep the baby under the sun 4 one week 7am to 8am
