If all Igbo people decide to leave Lagos..I am certain that 80% of landlord and land sellers will not be able to refund the rent and cash balances taken from Igbo people and if at all Yoruba take over their business...it will collapse within 3months.... I am a westerner from ekiti if u care to know. |

otuomasirichi: You’re wrong and myopic. It totally depends on the individual. You cannot hide your Yoruba identity, have certificates in the USA without “Gbadebo” support IPOB, speak Yoruba like a Chinese or Indian, and claim to be Yoruba and expect to win an election in Lagos state. Barrack Obama already has a Kenyan name, he wrote books about his heritage, his father was not even in his life, but he claimed and accepted his Kenyan identity long before even contesting for presidency. He is not an opportunist like GRV that all of sudden became a Yoruba man cos of election. 1 Like |

incandescentena: Awolowo is long gone. He had his own share of blame, but he was far better and excelled in some ideologies more than this crops of daredevil politicians and godfathers. How would you reason it, if they say an adult is a failure because his great grandfather was a failure? Does that add up? Awolowo may introduce some tribalism, why is the generation of politicians of today even worse than him? Why have they not become better person? Why should failure of grand patron spell dooms for the present generation? Let's begin by asking, those ones practising tribalism and bigotry today, do or would they even accept that what they are doing is bad? It is like still blaming the colonial masters for colonizing Nigeria. Even with them, Nigeria was not badly managed like this. We ourselves can't manage ourselves. See what crude oil has caused for Nigeria. More like a curse than blessings. Each generation should carry their blames themselves. 1 Like |

otuomasirichi: Nobody rejected Chinedu because his mother is Igbo o His mother is not the problem Desmond Elliot Has an Igbo mother. We have Ignos as commissioners in lagos. We have other tribes. Chinedu was rejected because he is pushing the Igbo ipob agenda. He said he would retire our Obas and he can if he is the governor He has no respect for Yoruba tradition. In the picture up there. His father and uncle removed their caps. Chinedu didn’t. He can’t even prostrate He can’t speak the language of Yoruba and he wants to lead? How would he communicate? He hates Yoruba H turned lagos state LP to Igbo party after getting Governorship ticket He hates the people. He wants to control 70B monthly but hasn’t earned a dime He should hide his head in shame and run away. Else he would he held for burning brt buses during end sars 2 Likes |

Roboto11: You don't have an argument. GrV isn't the only contestant in the elections. Ohaneze Ndi Igbo is NOT a traditional ruler. I'm referring to a traditional ruler. A Nigerian stool. It's shameful for them to pick favourites publicly. Publicly is the key here. You know in your heart that this is wrong & I don't care about GRV or anyone who becomes the Governor. |

0monnak0da: My point is that No traditional ruler of repute comes out publicly to pick a favourite in an election. It's disgraceful to the stool they represent. That's why you don't find Other reputable Obas doing it. |

Iamgrey5: So because of the crimes of a few people from a tribe, you’re hating on a whole tribe. I’m Yoruba and even I can see future problems in this mentality. Stop hating on your fellow man. Even if a few offended you, confront the issue, forgive and move on. Don’t assist to start a problem you will not be able to finish. |

Roboto11: IT IS Wrong for Pastors too! That's why their are pastors who don't do it. I don't care about 'elder statesmen' as most of them were former politicians. And I shouldn't tell you that elder statesman are not officially recognised traditional rulers. |

otuomasirichi:No, You Igbos want to leverage on his Yoruba heritage to cease power in Lagos state when you know fully well that he’s more of the Igbo stock than Yoruba. This a man that speaks Igbo more fluently. He never understood a single work of Yoruba. You can make him a governor in your state since he’s very competent, for us we have a more competent person in Sanwo Olu. You cannot come to Yoruba land and impose one Igbotic Yoruba on us just because you have the OBI momentum and feel you can usurp the Yorubas. Gbadebo doesn’t speak Yoruba or value our culture and he has never been one of us, a man closer to IPOB and Biafra agitation for that matter. 4 Likes 2 Shares |
