Jamb had announced a student from Anambra had the highest mark 360.

Innoson wanted to give a N3million scholarship to the person. She and her collaborators added 2points to make it 362 and nearly got away with it. Until the commissioner of education decided to check with Jamb.

Yeah but Jamb is the foundation of 1st degree certificates used for post graduate admissions. Jamb reputation is at stake.
Hope you are getting the gist. Once it's built on faulty and doubtful admission into university, they won't trust our graduate certificate again. Issue is not whether the result is fake or not. Issue is the girl apparently checked the result following normal process and that's the score she saw. If the result is indeed fake, who faked it? Is it the girl or a wider compromise of JAMB systems? JAMB should also be interested in figuring out what really happened.

This is what I've been saying. Jamb had no business jumping into the public domain on this matter. It was very wrong and demeaning. Our public institutions should learn to do things in a more responsible manner.

It's important to note that Miss Mmesoma Ejike went to the office of the Anambra State Commissioner for Education, Professor Ngozi Chuma-Udeh with her UTME result to protest that the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) didn't recognise her as the candidate with the highest score.

The Commissioner in turn called JAMB to confirm her claim but she was told that Mmesoma's result was forged.

This is what I told somebody yesterday when he asked how come Jamb decided to investigate her! It was Anambra ministry of education that called jamb attention to her result!
