The backlash has been brewing for a while. Recruited Asian and a few African doctors are protesting of horrible and hostile work environment in UK.

This is how they value them abroad. When Americans cry that immigrants depressed their wages, this is what they mean. It started with teachers, then nurses and now doctors.

Our doctors are saying they would rather work as happy slaves where they value them as slaves!

It's a lose - lose situation that benefits no one but the Small hat mafia .

We lose our professional home trained doctors who work under compromised situations thereby reducing the quality of health care in the west.

It's a system meant to lower wages and compromise professionalism and COVID made this glaringly obvious with how doctors in the west bent to big Pharma .

Whatever the small hate touch , they corrupt absolutely .

Most of the top specialists in the UK are not Indians
Yes a good number are but not most.

The other thing is
Their specialist training happened in the UK not India. They are. UK trained specialists

It all comes down to numbers they have a population of over 1 billion
There is nothing special I am happening in Indian healthcare
Their indices are not much better than Nigeria's
If India was that great they won't be leaving in such large numbers

You work in Healthcare in the UK or what?

...and do you think those that trained in the UK don't go back home?

How do you think their healthcare developed?

I know a few people who finished their Residency and went back to India.

So...

You can aswell migrate to Canada with your tech skills...

You can learn a teach today and you don't even need a college degree or masters to be a pro at a particular tech program...

I just addressed the claims
Most specialist in the UK are not from India and almost all did specialist training in the UK even those with MBBS from India

There is nothing special about India just their huge population
This means more medical schools and more doctors
They export a lot of doctors because pay is poor in India just like Nigeria
So do not hype India to us

The information his publicly available . Indian doctor to back home? What for to visit or to relocate?

Well, you miss the point...

1. I work in healthcare in the UK, so I should know where most of the 'top' specialists come from.

2. If the do Specialist training in the UK, some of them will go back home to train Doctors there.

3. There is a reason they have big Private Hospitals like Fortis and Apollo.
(I believe Fortis is even the major shareholder in Lagoon Hospitals-- the best performing Nigerian Hospital)

I also believe their Prime Minister had a heart procedure done there, some years ago.

If it was not good, he would have been flown abroad.

4. There is nothing special about India?

Yet their child is UK prime minister and they have become stakeholders in major institutions abroad?

Dey there!
🤣

...and yes, some of their Specialists go back.

The same way some Nigerian Specialists have come back home.

Ten years ago,the average MD earned over $1mil annually.

But since the greedy small hat tribesmen took over the Medical sector, they lobbied the govt to open borders to cheaper and far less qualified MDs from the third world whose residency in the US was tied to their job employer.

This has seen many qualified and conceintious western trained doctors resigning and going into private practice.

Covid 19 exposed the rot in western medicine as most doctors employed in small hat owned hospital firms daring not to raise any objection to the unscientific protocols set by the small hate controlled CDC that promoted the small hate vaccine produced by small hat pharmaceutical companies.

The small hat mafia wants to replace professional doctors with third world pliable doctors.

This should tell us that the small hate tribesmen are about to pull another Covid and are set to get rid of the few dissident doctors for drone third world doctors who dare not question their ongoing genocide ...

So what has theses your bullshit got to do with the topic?

Also, Every country needed Doctors and nurses…

Here in Nigeria , we have over 30 million people between age 18-25, most who’re students.

I will advise Nigeria to start grooming medical practitioners for the world…
It will be a win win situation.
Nigerians living abroad remitted 19.8 billion dollars back home in 2022…

Can you imagine what the country would’ve been without this people popping money to the economy, while our politicians are busy sending money out.

If we send like 1000,000 doctors to Europe, America, Middle East and Australia …. I want to believe this will help the economy….

So government should invest heavily in training many doctors , pharmacists, nurses and lab technicians…
I might be wrong though, but I believe I’d we start by exporting brain , by 2050 we will have big professionals handling our economy and running businesses here back home.

Most people abroad send money home from time to time..
I know how much I send monthly for various reason, mostly for my project and a few time to assist.
You know politics aside, we just have to pick the country up.
Everybody won’t have the same political view…
But after it’s all said and done, Nigeria riches and problem will be shared amongst us all… sadly it’s only the problem that’s shared equally while the riches is shared among a few…
You might hate the president, I don’t like him too.
You might hate your governor, I think I like mine a bit.

We all just have to look for a way to make the country works.

If we allow politics, tribes and religion to eat deeper than its has already…. We might not have a place to call home again…

The information about origin of doctors is publicly available from the. GMC by a FOI request

Almost all of them had specialist postgrad training in the UK
SO. There is nothing to credit India with there except the fact that they have a large number of medical schools and churn out more doctors than most countries which like Nigeria they struggle to retain because of poor pay

They have further reduced the hurdle needed to practice.

In the next five years, I don't expect experienced doctors in Nigeria to be up to 5000. They will all leave unless something drastic is done in terms of good governance.

Their wages, work conditions and others should be increased while also blocking them from leaving.. They should work here for at least 10years before leaving for anywhere

The hardest Specialties here-- top Specialties, usually have Drs of Indian origin.
( counting the countries that split from them also)

That is how it has now become, because Oyinbo no wan wahala himself again.

If you read my post and not just jumped to conclusion you would have noted I said 'top.'

I have worked in many Hospitals, so I know whatsup.

Check the Consultant lists for the juiciest specialties e.g. Surgery, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Radiology, Vascular Surgery, Cardiology, Gastro etc. in most Hospitals; you will see their names there.

If is not them, it would be an older white Dr, as the younger ones don't want to stress themselves anymore.

If you choose to argue otherwise, I will leave you to your folly.

...and it will be quite silly to say you cannot credit India for the successes of their Children abroad.

Do they stop being Indian, because they left their countries?

Do the Jews stop being Jews or the Nigerians stop being Nigerians.

They are like a cult here, reason they have done well for themselves-- and they don't discard their values.

They will marry Indian spouses and raise more indian kids.

Besides India is supposed to be the 5th largest economy in the world and you think some people would not have cornered healthcare.

Or why are Nigerians running there for the unafordable western healthcare?

Your point on Leprosy is baseless.

China also has horrible cases of communicable diseases, but does that discredit everything else about them.

Tell you what, a Nigerian Doctor in the US recently donated 1M dollars to UCH.

Would he do that, if he felt they didnt contribute to his training?

...and I will repeat, some foreign trained Doctors go back home-- to India, Nigeria or wherever.

...and they are earning big bucks.
