Where are those supporting evil? Grandstar, subsidy is gone but no local refining yet means importers of petrol too have to queue for dollar alongside other importers. This naturally drives demand for dollar up and thus its price and that of imported petrol. I told you, subsidy removal without local refining is just the beginning of turmoils. 2 Likes |

And in all these, Nigerians are still quiet while these unprofessional incompetent people in government stump on them and make life worse for them. Is this how we are going to stay silent while we suffer. NLC have been compromised. It was not up to this in 2012 before the nationwide protest and stand still happened. Now, they told everybody to be calm, suffer for now and see changes later. They tell you for it to be better it has to be worse self. But let's ask ourselves, is it not suffering and worse situation we have been in the last 3 or 4 decades. Now we just settle for their preaching and expect things to get better soon. We should not fool ourselves nor let them fool us. These people are incompetent and corrupt. Things would not get better, we should be experienced and knowledgeable enough to know how manipulative this politicians are in this country. We may not fight like the Niger people did but we can show them that enough is enough of their incompetence and corruption. 2 Likes |

He pointed out that the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) currently maintains its ex-depot price at N587.7. However, if the NNPCL adjusts its prices, “other marketers will do the same.”I thought they said the market has been deregulated. How com NNPC is still the one fixing price? 3 Likes |

Kukutente23: NNPC is fixing price for "its" own imported products, not for the general market. But as the official government regulator, whatever price it fixes is considered as the benchmark for other importers/marketers to decide their own pricing templates. 1 Like |

Ipman should please save us from going to press to announce price increase, of they want to increase to a thousand no need of speculation, it's bad for the economy, the importers of rice don't come to the newspaper to announce increase in the price of rice, Ipman should stop this rubbish the market has been deregulated each filling station, depot is free to sell at whatever price it deem fit, announcing price increase or decrease on page of newspapers do nothing but cause inflation. 1 Like |
