Read your welcome letter attentively; it will tell you how to send your civil documents. It varies from case to case, however for EB2-NIW, you are usually required to transmit your paperwork via postal mail.

Just like you have London, you have montreal, Accra, Lagos... Like any civil service in the world, inefficiency and service delivery is like Q and U in most english word (_______). . We will see what happens between nextweek through first week of october if Eb2 will get November ID.

You mean November 2022 DQ or what? Because I am aware they cleared 2022 dq foe EB2 in the last streams of interview letters.

Read in passive tone i come in peace bro, he means what he means, re-read and comprehend before jumping into conversation to avoid dragging convo back and forth . ID = interview date. the person referred to is a january 2023 DQ candidate.

Mandem currently held down by antispam bot... not direct experience. I presume you are wriritng to NVC to transfer? the Local address should be your address in Nigeria (parents or immediate relative /siblings should suffice. local phone shoud be a phone you have handy incase there is some sort of communication that need to be passed. TBH, most comunication will be via email. ensure your email address on file is the one you have access to always. )

in other US lagos consulate seem to be issuing ID for oct-Dec 22 DQ for IR/CR person. Lets see if we get any showers for January 23 DQ onward in coming days /weeks. good news all the way everyone.!.

I plan to explore the EB-2 NIW route and need your guidance.

I am an IT professional with about 15yrs experience, my primary area is IT Service Management, and I am a certified ITIL Expert (the last I checked, the total number of people holding this certificate globally is still less than 100,000). I am also a project management professional (PMP) - I have being a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) for about a decade. I have experience managing technical IT projects and was recently recognized by my employer for delivering complex projects around North America, and as a leading international woman in STEM. My first degree is in Computer Science (Nigeria) and I have an MBA (Canada). I have worked full time in Canada as a Technical Project Manager and IT Service Manager for over 5 years. I have the Canadian Citizenship and prefer a permanent visa to the US, hence the reason I am not exploring the 'TN' visa route. My husband is an Engineer and has the Professional Engineering (P.Eng) license for engineering practice in Canada. He is also a member of the council for the regulation of engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and a project management professional (PMP). He has almost 15 years engineering experience (10years in Nigeria and 5yrs+ in Canada)

Do we stand a chance with the EB-2 NIW route or what could possibly boost our chances? We are open to working with an immigration attorney that has experience with people in IT/Engineering but would also like to try to do it ourselves to save cost.

It should be former before marriage. My wife's own is former before marriage and it has been documentarily qualified.

I think any name (current or former) would suffice. My spouse used her current name and it was approved. Also note that her passport bears current name.

I used current (name after marriage as it appears on the international passport).

Thank you so much for this valuable information. I received an update on my EB-2 NIW petition on Lawfully App that my case was approved by USCIS on 14th of April. I am still waiting for my Attorney (Chen) on next line of action for the Visa processing from Nigeria. I just received another notification that says "we sent your case, Receipt Number SRC......, to the Department of State for visa processing". Does this also imply that the case has been forwarded to NVC? Thank you.

I am just a tech specialist with over a decade experience, but they stated that they cannot take my case. Is their something i didnt present properly or i must have citations/publications and all to qualify?

Please assist with a guide bro.

I think you can look around for lawyers familiar with cases of non research/academic based applicants. Better still, you can apply yourself. Go through the thread, I previously shared a link to a drive with materials to guide people to petition themselves.

You can try Ellis Porter for your application. A friend with PhD in Data Science was advised to apply as a tech specialist rather than as a researcher. He got his approval after 3 or 4 months
