This man has been doing so well
Doing well with talk and no action. A visit to the passport office will tell you better.
I was there on Monday and it's a nightmare, to open file and come back again after waiting for appointment for capture for more than a month.
I will not give him any credit until I get my passport in two weeks like he promised.

Those immigration officials won't like this, they have turned ordinary passport issuance to den of corruption.

Official passport which is not more than 25k , they would be collecting as high as 70-120k for one

It's no longer news.

We want to hear when they officially kick off the process.

Mod.

What nonsense am I reading up there.

Why are all these hungry Nigerian up there making cheerful comments as if it affects them?!

It's so obvious this is a sycophantic post...we know those that are working, we see them...we hear them....let's see the actions start.

Tinubu's audio salary increase never reach anybody yet.

You hungry praise singers should continue....ur stipend can't buy ordinary onions anymore, yet you're here praising what you don't know.
You get money for visa...wetin you wan use your passport do?!

Political nitwit

This Minister is not bluffing. I witnessed real change when I visited the Alausa passport office to do my capturing. I didn't spend up to 2 hours. The officers there were very very professional. It's looks like magic because I usually pass by the office many months ago. The crowd at the gate alone not to talk of inside the premises, made me run far. Now we are seeing real change not ,"political change". Other Ministers should wake up and emulate this man.

The only way passport processing can be seamless is to remove the human element as much as possible.
Log in to the NIS platform.
Register a profile.
Fill the required form
Submit all required documents
Pay via Remita
Wait for an appointment date for capturing
Print your acknowledgment slip and proceed to the nearest processing center.
Capture and expect your passport via courier in about 4-6 weeks..

Doesn't that sound nice but no.. the corruption won't allow them do that.. rather they prefer the choking miasma of people to flood and overflow at the NIS passport offices in order to create a chaotic frustrating atmosphere that encourages corruption..

Best performing minister of the Tinubu administration so far. A friend of mine was able to get a passport, in 2vweeks flat. It's true. Kudus to the minister.

The Minister is really working hard to ensure a seamless and corrupt free process in the application and collection of the Nigerian Passport.
A friend based in Atlanta USA said he submitted his passport application at the Nigerian Consulate there and was told that his renewed Passport will be sent to him by Post; he got the Passport in his mailbox late last week without having to stress himself going back to the Consulate.
The above seamless process can be replicated here in Nigeria too, but the Minister might have to co-opt private Courier firms into the process to ensure speedy and efficient delivery of Passports to Nigerians through the post.

That's life sir, this life is controlled by the spirit, when one is weak, he/she is a walking corpse already, I learnt the original wickedness from those wicked elders who are jealous of my family's greatness -- Majority of Blacks are very wicked
as a 20 year old guy -- I have seen a lot in this life. I'm just praying for things to change sooner.

whats the point of your seamless pasport if

1 Nigerians lack the purchasing power to go on holidays and travel since naira has lost its value

2. Nigerians are constantly denied visas cause of our bad reputation and govt.

3. even if granted visas the sighy of the Nigerian passport your visas can be cancelled as in the case of saudi arabia even when our president was there he could not talk about it with their leadership

see ehen a gahanian or S.A driving lisence is stronger and is a more acceptable means of travel documentation than the Nigerian passport our leaders have destroyed out identity and failed us and they know it its reason all their kids are dual citizens.

With the people praising this man up there, how is the application for passport now? Is the processing easy and stress free now? Because I don't understand the praise and if it is because of his promises, then Nigeria people will never learn
