Thank you.
Please how do I raise a webform.

Baphil:
Please raise a webform and submit it. They have responded faster with individuals submitting it themselves than with IOM; many times, the next day. So do not wait for them to request for it since you have already done it. It saves yours and their time. Yours especially.

Amen, Thanks so much for this, I really appreciate. I’ll tell him as advised. Please do you have a link where I can learn how to go about opening the GIC account? You can share please. I just want to have alternatives in case. Also, can I PM you?

JMG12:
Welcome to the journey; it will end well
1. this can work
2. I won't advise that because it will be a new account, the VO might not be convinced that the intention is genuine
3. For any option, there must be a letter of support or sponsorship from him, including an affidavit
Other options are:
1. he can do a cash gift deed
2. he can open a GIC account for you

I am in a bit of a dilemma and I don't know if this applies to me as well.

I was supposed to resume in September 2023 but my visa arrived in late October, my agent deferred my course but unfortunately, the school does not offer the course in January, so they moved it to September 2024.

My visa is only valid till July 31st 2024. What do I do? Can I resume early in Maybe June and apply for an extension or do I have to apply for a new visa?

Try to apply to another school for January or May intake.

That's way too long. I did an upfront medical last Monday with IOM and was sent a copy of the medical result the next day. They also sent the result to IRCC

What can I do about it? Is there any way of checking up what the problem is?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by OralBoy: 11:17pm On Nov 22, 2023
Is this possible? I thought that you can only come in through the school you applied for originally and was issued Visa for?

Mail IOM to request for the status of your medical examination. Ask if it has been forwarded to IRCC.

Then do a web form and send many mails

Yes, it’s possible. It’s more advisable to look at schools resuming in January. In your search, look for those with fast admission decisions.

You can apply for a different course, within the same school. YOU CANNOT change your school outside Canada, if you do you will have to apply for VISA afresh

@gabby18
You mean I should open a domiciliary account (I don't have anyone yet) and buy few dollar from Aboki and deposit it.

Leave some naira in my account and when I open Canada account, I will use lemonade to convert it to Canadian dollar then transfer to my Canadian account.

Change some naira into Canadian cash (like how much??) and that will be my cash at hand that I will declare at the airport

THAT IS MY UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT YOU SAID.
if anyone has a better suggestion from what I wrote, pls Lemme know o. If I'm right pls like my comment or quote so I can go ahead.
THANK YOU

Both of them can do a gift deed, but since your dad is sponsoring you while your brother, on the other hand, is gifting, you can use legal documents to back it up

Thank you so much sir, please what legal document are you referring to?

Sorry about the refusal, your sources of funds are poorly documented, despite your big closing balance, you did not pay any tuition. The VO does not believe the funds you have shown is yours since you did not make any part payment, also you did not explain the lum sums into the accounts you presented.

You need to get documents proving your sources of income
Make part payment of the tuition.
Explain lump sum deposits

Contact any of these Canadian charter banks: RBC, Scotia Bank, TD, CIBC, or BMO. Your sponsor in Canada can assist with this. And you can PM
