Good morning
My car idle rpm fluctuates. Sometimes too high and after driving for some minutes it will go down. And most times it will go so low while driving which makes d car to off sometime (most especially in traffic). Sometime it will be difficult for the car to restart because the battery will appear so weak to restart the car. I’ve changed battery and also work on the alternator when I was informed it was doing slow charging.
Whenever throttle body is cleaned it will get better for like 2 days and start misbehaving again.
Base on my rewire suggestion to stop the slow charging issue, I decided to change the throttle body yesterday but surprisingly the RPM has remained above 1 since and even this morning when I start the car it was so high almost getting to 2000rpm at idle. The mechanic guy told me that it will normalise with Time which I don’t know how long it will take.
Please what could be the next thing I will do to get a normal rpm?
I drive Camry 2004

Ask your mechanic to perform an idle relearn.

Get an electrician to thoroughly check your wiring harness.
There's no connection between your AC and ignition coils.

I did a complete overhaul of my AC system... Changed condenser and compressor and evaporator even expansion valve, system was flushed and replaced.

So the AC returned my ac system to factory settings. Since then the coil burn problem started.

I went to replace the front bearings of my car today and now my car drifts to the leftside when driving. Plus I can feel the steering is a bit hard and also I can smell burning rubber coming from the front left tyre.

I had to leave it at the office and book bolt home, I was scared it could lead to something more dangerous

Wheel alignment is needed.

You always have to do alignment after any work on the front legs

That's very wrong. You don't need an alignment after replacing wheel bearing.

Get another technician to physically inspect the car.

That’s a rule of thumb for me, especially when I’m not around when servicing, the Mech might have loosened other components that’ll make him need an alignment after the work.
You never know.
If the issue does persists after an alignment then he’ll know it’s something else.
And besides, alignment is relatively cheap

Hello house, my car which is Toyota Camry 2010 consumes fuel at a high rate, the catalyst and every other thing are intact, what could be the cause.
NOTE: it wasn’t like this before, just started recently, I’m tired

Check the glove compartment a sticker of the code should be pasted there. A five digit number.

If the vehicle came with owners manual glance through it may be available there.

If all these fail, you will have to get it online using your VIN and radio serial number

Start by scanning the vehicle. The codes will give a diagnosis on what to work on

"Good day! My Kia Optima's recommended oil type is 5w-30, and I've been using Mobil 1. However, after rebuilding the engine, my mechanic suggests switching to Visco 2000 due to Nigeria's temperatures. He mentioned that the Mobil 1 oil is too light in texture. Should I stick to Mobil 1 5w-30, or is it advisable to follow his recommendation and switch to Visco oil?"

This is a double edge sword here.. Most engine that are rebuilt will never last more than 6months to 1yr. In most cases a mechanic will advice you to get a tokunbo engine.... But if he does a rebuilt he can only guarantee you 6months... Have had bad experience with so call good mechanics..........

There is no such thing as oil for Nigerian weather etc .. Very unfortunate we have more unprofessional mechanics than professional ones.. I always advice people to follow owners manual at all times..

Even if you are going to deviate from owvners manual there should not be too much of a gap from the viscosity of the oil.. E.g. owners manuals says use 5w20 , but you have no access to 5w20.. Than I will use 5w30 .. Manuals says use 0w20 , but I have access to 0w30 , you can see that the gap is not too bad.. But this only advisable in a year around hot climate weather.. Regardless of weather conditions 20w50 is too thick for any engine .. You will end up gradually killing your engine and oil pump

So back to your matter like Shakespeare " to do or not to do .Thats the question" it is basically up to you

Good evening gurus. Please what could be the problem with my 05 Honda Civic? It jerks while driving. Sometimes it looses power that I'll have to turn off the engine and restart it again. It doesn't show any error code when scanned. I've changed fuel pump, injector mouth, 02 sensor, nuzzles, ignition coil and spark plugs still the problem persist. What else should I do?

Remote diagnosis would be difficult without a code.
Your best bet would be running a live data while symptoms are present to know what the issues are.

Try changing or cleaning your air filter and also clean the MAF sensor.
